The Free Workers of New Paristan respectfully decline to participate in the World Alliance Customs Union at this time. Our nation's unique position as a decentralized commonwealth of independent worker organizations means that integration of our trade and tariff laws with those of countries still stuck in a capitalist phase of material history would be difficult at best, and more than likely counter to our national interest.

We welcome trade with other nations on a bilateral basis, but we will negotiate each deal as it comes to ensure that our workers are protected from the vagueries of international capitalism.

In the meantime, we welcome all nations that have evolved past capitalism to join us in discussing alternative models of economic cooperation, perhaps to create an anti-capitalist trade zone as a counterpoint to the WACU.

Meanwhile, the European Government has decided to take direct action against terrorism in the country of Snarfia, after approval by the latter arrived.
The operation will take the name of "EUFOR Fighting terror in Snarfia"

The Ministry of Defence has ordered the arrival of substantial military contingents at the European island near Snarfia.
More specifically, the troops will be stationed at the military base (with its port and airport) located on the island.
The operation is already well under way, will end in the evening.
From there, starting tomorrow morning, on specific provisions of the Government of Snarfia, will be allocated in the most "hottest" of the nation.
They will assault troops, suitable to fight both in war zones both to suppress the guerrillas.
The Ministry ensures that civilians not even see it, as will be cautious, rapid and aggressive movements and actions.
The terrestrial component (Army) comes from the 1st Brigade Colonial (units stationed at the New European Islands, fully deployed).
It contains all specialties, from mechanized infantry to the artillery, from the tank drivers to the airborne forces, including logistic units and units of engineers.
Is, according to the data in our possession, about 27,000 men and 14,000 vehicles.
The naval component will come from the 3rd Colonial Fleet, stationed at the New European Islands.
Will amount to about 1 aircraft carrier (as the basis for the air component), 4 submarines (only with escort duties for the fleet), 6 destroyers,3 amphibious assault ships and 6 frigates, possibly for use against terrorist bases.
In addition, there will be 8 transport ships,that will transport troops and equipment and provide logistical support,6 supply vessels and 2 multi-purpose support vessels.
In addition to some 18 offshore patrol vessels, which will provide support in case of coastal battles.
The air component will come from the 3rd Colonial Air Bigade, stationed at the New European Islands, and amount to about 6 F-22 Raptor, 8 Eurofighter Typhoon (which will provide air defense sensitive targets), as well as 14 F-16,14 F-18 and 10 fighter-bomber Tornado(to be used in operational theaters).
In addition, there will be about 20 Predator drones and 30 helicopters of various types.
The air forces and logistical support will be about 5 C-130 (combat support), 9 C-130 Harcules II, 13 C-27J Spartan, 6 C-17 (transport troops and materials).

The Ministry of Interior has deployed about 390 men belonging to the NOCS (of the National Police), 370 men belonging to the GIS (National Body of Carabinieri) and 320 men belonging to '"Antiterrorism Ready Operation" (National Body of the Guardia di Finanza ).
Equipped with at least 200 vehicles (land, air and naval) and equipped with modern instruments and dogs units.
These three bodies are special anti-terrorism force of European law enforcement, and will provide protection to sensitive targets.

There will then be operate a group of men of the 7th Parachute Regiment "Col Moschin" but we do not know the exact amount for reasons of "national security."
It represents the elite of the Army Special Forces.

In short, the military system is ready, already deployed in the military base situated on the island next to the European Snarfia, and ready to unfold in this country in a few hours starting tomorrow.

Utopizha Bi Difindiat!

 When hearing of the Custom union act now set into action the trade workers of Ivania's busiest port other then Ivanisgrad, Lucagrad, construction and trade workeers went into outrage and protested all day. The protests turned to violence when the protesters overturned two containers of Europan goods. Many other protesters soon joined in on the protest when the Construction workers began to shout "Utopizha Bi Difindiat!" [Utopia be defended]. Lucagrad ports and businesses were shut down due to these protests. The Lucagrad police cracked down on it soon after the toppling of the Europan containers. Parliament is meeting right now to determine if Ivania will join this Customs Union, or stick to it's strict policies that have led Ivania to prosperity since the beginning.

FIRST CHANCELLOR ELECTED

In the first official elections since the union of Aloia and Genolia, the Thalian people chose John Windridge of Queen Anne Island to be the first Chancellor of the Imperial Union of Aloia and Genolia. Windridge will take over from Georgia Osterreich, who served as Chancellor in the interim and oversaw Thalian participation in the Rebordjan War. Osterreich was the Chancellor of the Aloian Federation before the union and will officially end her term when Windridge is sworn into the office of the Chancellor.

Windridge is the nephew of former Aloian Chancellor, Hadrian Rhodes, and a member of the very influential Rhodes family. Windridge is the grandson of Stephen Windridge, after whom Thalia's tallest mountain, Mount Windridge, is named for. Windridge's mother, Macy Rhodes, was instrumental in the union of Aloia and Genolia after falling in love with Sebastian Windridge, John's father.

Windridge represents the powerful Green Party. Aloia's Green Party is the nation's largest and most powerful party, as evidenced in the nation's pristine wild areas and green policies.

While a war between BL and GLA rage,the desert in Cartoumsk Region,Georgia has 4 terror tunnels which connected in North Desert to Atlanta and Rayforsk.

The GLA which stations in nearby military bases quickly attack the BL camps and find that 4 tunnels to stop the BL plans to capture Atlanta.

The active phase of deployment of troops in the territory of Snarfia began late in the night yesterday, and will continue until the evening today.
Through the logistical, air and naval,the troops, materials and resources are being deployed on the territory, in the main ports and airports.
From there, they will relocate to the hot spots of the nations, beginning military operations against terrorists.


The land and air troops stationed at military bases and military airfields of the Armed Forces premises, or, in rarer cases, with removable bases to be built at strategic points.
The fleet will be based at the country's military ports.


These works will be completed by tomorrow at noon, according to estimates by the European Government.
In short, by tomorrow night, they will begin military operations themselves.


These operations will be assault missions, against terrorist groups, or defense missions through the defense of vulnerabilities, such as cities, infrastructure (power lines, power plants, industrial sites, roads such as roads and railways).
Other important sites that will be defended, as well as ports, airports, government buildings and even civil buildings, such as schools and hospitals.
According to data of the Ministry of Defense, the defense will take place through the constant surveillance by air, land and sea, and the installation of network identification, such as cameras or sensors (which, when finished, can be easily removed).

Ivania deploys it's Southern fleet, and The Army of Comrades

 Now, the terrorist attacks in Georgia are no longer just attention grabbers but now it seems as if  It is civil war. In order to defend our honor and our name, The Supreme Comrade has deployed the South Rusan fleet. It consists of Ivanian Aircraft carriers Sodruzh, Vakini, and Vavilon. Escorted by three Ivanian destroyers, Construkiktaz, Utopizhya, and Obim Dvalem. The Supreme Comrade plans on using Naval and Air warfare to help the GLA against BL forces. The Fleet will arrive within the week. On the matter of Snarfia, Ivania has mobilized the 213rd Infantry and the 52nd Mechanized. They will be transported by the Ivanisgrad Obim class transport fleet, and will arrive one day before the South Rusan fleet arrives to Georgia. It is not known yet if the South Rusan fleet will help The Snarfians as well.

ALOIAN EMPRESS EXPECTING CHILD

The House of Nordahl-Acribaldi is proud to announce that Aloia's very own Queen, HIM Marina II, is expecting her first child with King Andre. Andre is the brother of Patrician Empress Jeanne and met Marina at Jeanne's wedding to Marina's brother, Henri. The child will be 1st in line to the Aloian throne from his or her mother. The child will be first cousins with Jeanne II, heir apparent to the throne of the Holy Patrician States.

Aloia has universal primogeniture, so no matter whether the baby is male or female, they will be first in line to the throne without worrying about a male sibling taking it from them.

New "Revolutionary Tactics Institute" Opens in Montmartre



The Revolutionary Tactics Institute, an independent cooperative not directly affiliated with the Rotating Council, which should in no way be considered an official part of the Paristani government, is now open in Montmartre.  The RTI is offering 3,000 free scholarships to workers from all over the world, who will learn, during a one-year course, how to fire their bosses and "create a new world within the shell of the old."  In addition to revolutionary tactics such as sabotage, occupation, and wildcat strikes, the RTI will teach physical self-defense and martial arts.

"When Marx said we had nothing to lose but our chains, he meant that both figuratively and literally," explained Shopmaster Jean-Claude Van Merde, breaking a heavy metal link in half while showing off the RTI's extensive physical training facility and martial arts dojo.

The initial 3,000 free scholarships, which will be offered on an ongoing annual basis, are open to any worker anywhere. Marquette's king falls grievously ill

Marquette's beloved king, Vincent II has fallen grievously ill quite suddenly. He has been hospitalized in North Eznurf Hospital Durand, but there has still yet to be word on what his sickness is. Crown Prince Fréderic IV has returned to Eznurf from Fuertaventura to be with his ill father. More news is to come on the matter.

ROYAL FAMILY EN ROUTE TO MARQUETTE

After hearing of Marquette's king's condition, the House of Nordahl has boarded their planes to visit their dying friend.

Among the royals heading to Eznurf are Prince Eric, who was High King of Aloia, before abdicating after the murder of his husband at the hands of rebels, and Princess Aetra, mother of Marina and Eric and former queen who abdicated after suffering a heart attack. Aetra and Vincent ruled when Aloia and Marquette established their close relationship and Eric's homosexuality was what convinced Vincent to approve Marquette's gay marriage bill.

Empress Marina, who recently revealed she was pregnant, will also be heading to Eznurf with her husband, Emperor Andre.

HSV (Holden Special Vehicles), A NZC based subsidiary of NZ Automobile Manufacturer Holden, has released a new performance car called the "GTS". The car features a 6.2L Supercharged V8 which comes as a direct competitor to the Pontmercy S-C, A Paristian built Hybrid/Electric automobile. Lately HSV have been locked in fierce competition with Pontmercy, who are both fighting for dominance with their respective beliefs. Pontmercy is going for a new unorthodox "Eco-Friendly" and "Green" automobile industry, whilst HSV have been strong supporters of a conventional V8 internal combustion engines. Both fight savagely for dominance, with extensive backing from their respective governments. The Automobile Industry is now locked in furious battle; "Green" vs "Petrol", "Pontmercy" vs "HSV" and ultimately a struggle between Autreville, NP (Home of Pontmercy) and Australia, NZC (Home of HSV).

As expected, Johnsonville, NZ (Home of Holden) has also been dragged into the conflict. Holden however remains in a secure position due to its more liberal policies of automobiles. Though they still produce 6.0L V8s, they have begun focussing on more eco-friendly cars, with most sedans running 3.6L V6s along with small cars running 1.4L I4.

Crown Prince Fréderic expresses gratitude towards Aloia


Crown Prince Fréderic IV shows gratitude towards the Aloian royal family for making a trip to Marquette in support of its king. He has prepared several rooms at the Royal Palace for them to stay at. The doctors are still not telling the public what his ailment is.

The European project of the World Alliance Custom Union begins to bear fruit.

The first nation in the region, the Federation of Antanares, has officially joined to the one that almost certainly will become the largest economic community in the region.
The government, through the mouth of the Economic Development Minister (Paul Jackson),and of  the Minister of Foreign Affairs (Franco Frattini), officially congratulated with that nation.

According to recent news, another nation, New Tarajan, would be on the road to accession at the Costum Union.
Also through the press releases of the two ministries mentioned above, the Government hopes that accession can take place as soon as possible.

The two ministries also know that they respectfully accept the choice of New Paristan, which, as we know, has recently refused to join the Custom Union.


Furthermore, regarding the recent actions of Ivania, the two ministries have made ​​it known that he hoped Ivania can join as soon as possible, and also told to better manage the public order.

Here comes the cavalry!

Ivanian troops and naval forces have arrived in Snarfia and Georgia. The naval and Air power have been sent to Georgia whilst the Infantry and Mechanized have been sent to Snarfia. Reportedly, when Ivanian Air Marshal Sikliz Audruzhy began the attack on BL forces he radioed the GLA forces "Here comes the cavalry!"

Marquette's king, Vincent II has been diagnosed

King Vincent II has been diagnosed with a severe subarachnoid hemorrhagic stroke. Doctors have been working around the clock for the past few days to stop the bleeding, but they are unsuccessful so far. It seems as though the bleeding is increasing, instead of slowing down. If the doctors are unable to stop the bleeding in the next 24 hours, death is surely imminent for Marquette's beloved king.
