As competition between Holden and Pontmercy escalates, the NZ and NZC Governments have become involved, taking the challenge personally. The first action taken by the governments was additional funding to both Holden and HSV from both respective governments. Holden is expecting a $20bn funding boost from NZ over the next 2 years, whilst HSV is expecting a $6bn boost in funding from the NZC Government over the next year. This is not an surprising course of action considering both companies are state owned, and as most accountants would tell you, the Governments are essentially owners, and the boost in funding is essentially the introduction of new capital. There are also reports that the NZ Government is scrambling to make trade deals with other nations with the intention of boosting the prowess of Holden in the global automobile industry.

I think its safe to say, the NZ and NZC governments are taking Pontmercy's claims as a personal insult.

The NZ government has begun a massive infrastructure upgrade which will see all fuel stations in the country receive at least 1 Hydrogen fuel pump. Alongside this, the Social Democracy has started constructing the new "Super-Reactor" on a small island slightly off the NZ Mainland. The "Super-Reactor", which there are actually 5 off, will provide electricity primarily to the massive electrolysis plant which produces Hydrogen from sea water. The total construction (Reactors and Infrastructure) is expected to cost $72bn NZD and take around 6 Months (IN GAME) to complete. The new hydrogen production facility and Super-Reactor(s) are expected to employ around 600 People and run 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Marquette's Controversial King Vincent II Breathes his Last

These are the words with which His Majesty King Friederick Wilhelm II today ended his speech to the plenary session of the Diet and the Landsraad in Palace Van Geldern, this morning.
The two bodies were reunited in an emergency meeting after a decision of the King himself and the government, after the call to arms of Shirouma, attacked by forces of Ultranationalist Russia.
"The Kingdom of New Tarajan" said the King at the beginning of th speech, with the intention to formalize the state of war against the Ultranatonalists "will always help its allies, in every corner of the world, and in every circumstances. Shirouma demonstrated to us that peace can exist also between a Kingdom and a Democratic Republic. Now, today, we want to demonstrate that between us there is a real friendship!"
The speech was acclaimed by all political sides, and after the formal approvation of the Landsraad, the King signed the order for mobilitation.
The 2nd and 3rd Fleets are yet en route to Shirouma, in order to provide immediate support and reinforcement,while the 1st and 5th Fleets are navigating in direction of the Yellasia Sea, where the hope is to reunite and coordinate all allied forces to counter-attack against Ultranationalist Russia.
Also, Prime Minister Rumaki asked for the immediate activation of the Article 2 of the SECURS Charter, especially after the Federation of Antanares declared its suppoort to Shirouma: "The vile attack Shirouma have been victim of is not only a threat to the stability and security of the region, but a threat for the fundamental principles of International Law, upon which is based the SECURS." she stated.

Marquette mobilizes navy

Marquette has officially mobilized its navy and is now moving to join the Texanian blockade of Russia. Marquette does not approve of Russia's decision to attack Shirouma for more land. Marquette's navy, a force certainly to be reckoned with, has joined Texania's blockade, and is planning to use its newly upgraded missile system for the first time since the entire missile program was revamped.

After the recent escalation Antanares's had decide to intervene actively in the conflict. The Bruma was reunited in the early night into a special session to discuss about the situation what see involved Ultra-nationalist Russia and Shirouma. Despite of the Right Wing of Bruma, composed by the more liberal members of parliament don't want an intervention of Antanares into a new conflict, the majority of Bruma had decide to declare war to Ultra-nationalist Russia and support Shirouma and New Tarajan.
