Simple. The purple backdrop represents the heritage of the New Rhodinian people and the Maximus ruling family. The golden cross represents the cross that was first erected on top of the royal palace on the nation's independence day; it represents our limitless freedom, our tolerance and humbleness and our everlasting goal to create a unified and peace-loving empire for anyone to enjoy.

The symbols are simple enough. The crown represents rule by a monarch and its location on the flag shows that the position is highly respected. The money bag represents the nation's wealth and its strong and growing economy. The crossed swords displays the militaristic side of Xolox, and lets on that it is not afraid of a fight. The color red represents the blood spilt during the civil war which culminated in the installation of the current administration. The black represents the power and strength of the people of Xolox, while the white represents their purity, honesty, and reverence of honor.

Flag of the Kingdom of Apepistan (pre-united kingdoms era)
Registry of National Flags Description Serpent_harad

The serpent is a very common symbol in apopic culture; it represents wisdom, cunning and strength. Many variations of it exist; sometimes it's feathered, sometimes it's winged, sometimes it has arms (and wings), looking more like a dragon.

Royal crest:

The black serpent with an open mouth, showing its fangs was also the crest-animal of  Ahet-Apep I; each ruler uses a slightly different version, the crest of Ahet-Apep LII is the black serpent coiled around a winged sword.

Flag of the United Kingdoms of Apepistan:

The snake represents the Ahet-Apep and the original apopic tribe, the 6 stripes the 6 tribes that were united by Ahet-Apep I to form the Kingdom of Apepistan, and the stars represent the kingdoms who later became part of the United Kingdoms of Apepistan, either joining willingly or conquered.

The 3-3, overal 6 tribes in the middle crossing each other represent the 6 tribes that were united under Ahet-Apep I. and eventually formed Apepistan.

The 40 rays of the Sun represent the 40 tribes that joined later to the United Kingdoms (The 13 original, 15 first WA expansion, and the 12 second WA expansion.

The dragon-serpent in the middle is the national symbol of the United Kingdoms of Apepistan, which is guarding and holding together all the tribes.

The New Coldonian flag is blue because that was the colour of the revolutionaries back in the day. The 12 stars represent the states of the Confederacy.
The torch represents Liberty for all the citizens of the nation and the world
