Government Orders Closure of Islamic School

Following the hypocritical behavior of ISIS where they have been accusing nations of not accepting Islam when they themselves have refused to accept other religions. And when ISIS threatened to strike out against Eurussia the President ordered the closing of the Islamic School.

"My Fellow Citizens, we have all seen the recent actions of the Islamic State. They have continuously threatened countries that have refused to accept Islam. But recently I contacted their government about opening a Christian School and they said that because they were Islamic they will not allow other religions to be accepted in their nation. I was astonished as their hypocrisy and angered by how they have threatened nations with Jihad because they have refused to let them open Islamic schools. I was considering closing the Islamic School here at that point. But I decided against it. But when they threatened our greatest ally, Eurussia I decided to g ahead and close the school. We will no longer support a state that acts like they are trying to promote the peaceful part of Islam but in fact they are promoting Jihad. We will not accept this! Our nation will not be dragged through the mud by a country this freaking stupid. As of now the Islamic School of Ireland is closed...forever! We will not put up with their bull crap any more. We are going to take a stand. And it begins with closing the Islamic school. We dare ISIS to call for jihad. We have a military ready to take action. After years of consultations and hard work of diplomats and governments around the world, the Tenth Security Council has finally adjourned to be replaced by the newly elected Eleventh Security Council that will now shape the future of the world throughout its term in a relatively peaceful time with spiking tensions in various continents. With its current eight member state composition, which can still be expanded via special elections on its discretion, the Security Council would have to cross a multiple and complex dimensions of geopolitics as its member states will seek to advance and promote their individual interests, the influence of the alliances and organizations they are part of, the interests of their allies and adversaries, the factor of the circumstances of international laws, internal politics inside the international body and the different interpretation of powers of the Security Council's supranational executive, legislative, and judicial authority, and most important of all are the interests and ideologies of the international political parties and coalitions they are part of to maintain their position of power in the global stage and keep their membership in the Security Council amidst impending differences and misunderstandings. And as it now able to secure another term in the international body, the mandate is expected to embolden the MEU Government to take a tougher stance on various international issues as its Republican Party, whose country leader is now holding the Presidency, is at the forefront of global politics.

OMEGA ATLANTICA

With its careful approach on international issues and being a leading nation promoting a global effort on counter terrorism, Omega Atlantica has successfully placed the spot of its Social Democratic Party at the list of political blocs to be reckoned with, despite the country leader of the party, Ireland, losing in the presidential race of the Security Council. And with its strong stance on different international issues, it remains to be seen how will it handle its global position now that it is a member state of the Security Council.

WEST PHOENICIA

Taking the fourth spot in the rankings of the elections for the Eleventh Security Council, the Kingdom of West Phoenicia which remains to be relatively unknown to the international arena has successfully managed to win the trust of several countries despite being a lone member of the Antebellum Political Party. With a huge responsibility on its hand, and slowly making stance on various international issues, it remains to be seen how this small country will prove its worth and power in the complex world of international politics.

However, with a careful mindset at heart, Serenarea is predicted to maintain its neutral and non-aggressive approach to international issues it is not associated with to maintain the peace in and out of its borders that enabled the nation to continuously prosper against all odds.

ISLAMIC STATES

Despite being the smallest country in the world, the Islamic States is the heart of the global Muslim community as it is currently the only Islamic state in the world and a strong promoter of Islam in every corner of the world. Technically not a democracy under the leadership of an Emir, the Islamic States utilizes its links to local and national communities of Muslims all over the world to advance its interests to the irk of its neighbors and various countries. Despite the tensions and the failure of its powerful and prominent country leader of the Global Islamic Party, Snarfia, it has successfully obtained and maintained its seat in the Security Council that is expected for it to be used to persistently advance its interests.

A relatively unknown country is expected to take on the pressure of organizing and even hosting an international event like such and the magnitude of opportunities as the global spotlight focuses on the nation aiming to bring change to the world through sports. It is yet unknown how many nations will be joining the historic international competition but with the prestige and opportunity of participating on the event is something nations would not want to miss to showcase their respective prowess and professionalism in the field of football sports.

EURUSSIA GREETS LEADER OF MARSCIDA

At the invitation of Her Imperial Majesty, Empress Elizabeth II, the head of state and leader of the Community of Marscida, His Excellence, Garuuhlf I, Arborio of Marscida, arrived in the City of Moscow for his first and official State Visit to the Empire of Great Eurussia. The Aborio was personally greeted by His Imperial Highness, Crown Prince William upon the visiting leader's arrival at the airport and who also accompanied him to the Imperial Kremlin Palace where the Eurussian Empress formally welcomed Arborio Garuulf I to the Eurussian Empire. This was followed by a bilateral meeting with His Excellency, Chancellor Vladimir Putin at the White House together with the Eurussian Cabinet to discuss the relationship between the two nations and their burgeoning ties. EU ISSUES TRAVEL BAN ON SNARFIA

Following the persistent violent uprisings in different parts of the Snarfian Federation reportedly instigated by the communist group, SHDKZ, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the immediate repatriation and evacuation of all Eurussian citizens in Snarfia for their own safety and security. Although maintaining the the ministry remains confident of the capabilities of the Snarfian Armed Forces, the uncertainty and threats of possible spread of further violence could pose higher risks to Eurussians, thus, a repatriation has been initiated by the government. Also, the Foreign Ministry imposed a travel ban to the entire Federation of Snarfia preventing all sorts of civilian flights inbound to the country until peace is fully restored in the country.

With the Muchos Estados Unidos Government raising the stakes as its President summoned its National Congress to seek for support on the rising tensions with the Islamic States using terrorism as the core issue, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs remains mum on the possible links of terrorism being sponsored by the Islamic States. It has neither concurred nor denied possessing intelligence data showing possible links of terrorism being funded directly by the government of the Emir of the Islamic States. On the other hand, the Foreign Ministry said that if it is indeed proven that the Islamic States is sponsoring any form of terrorism, the country and its leaders will be held accountable to existing international laws.

Critics speculate that this is simply a 'power trip' as the new President has taken office. Our network has reached out to the Office of Scouting's President, Jeb Bush, for a comment, and haven't received word back as of yet.

Legal analysts suspect that this move could put Scouting's WASC Presidency at jeopardy as the Presidency and Delegacy cannot be held at the same time for more than a 7 day period, which is closing fast.

Those who support the President's move state that the WA Security Council Act clearly protects the right to self determination, which some feel may be violated if Scouting is required to step down from the World Assembly as a whole.

As a result of this 'World Assembly Crisis', the President is expected to cut short his -already extended- meetings with the leaders of the Great Empire of Ireland and return to Scouting's shores to consult with expert attorneys. The President had scheduled meetings with the governments of Great Eurussia, Omega Atlantica, and Snarfia. It's expected that the meetings with Great Eurussia and Omega Atlantica will be cancelled, and it's unclear whether the meeting with Snarfian officials will be effected yet or not.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Eurussian Ambassador to Scouting, based in Atlanta, has confided with the officials of the Scouting Government on a possible solution to the international dilemma currently faced by the country. Chancellor of Eurussia Visits Ireland

At the invitation of President Gregory Robinson, His Excellency, Chancellor Vladimir Putin arrived in Dublin for his first state visit to the United State of Ireland. Upon landing Chancellor Putin was greeted by the Secretary of State Jackie Reynolds and was escorted to the Presidential palace where he was greeted by President Gregory Robinson. Which was followed by a closed-door meeting with the President where it was discussed how to fix the fragile relations between Ireland and Eurussia. After hours of peaceful talking three treaties were brought to the table all of which were signed by both sides of the delegation. The Treaty of Friendship(reintroduced), the Nuclear Energy Cooperation Agreement, and the Renewable Energy Cooperation Agreement. "I have confidence this will work in bringing our two nations closer." said the President in a statement to the press.

On the second day of his visit Vladimir Putin accompanied President Gregory Robinson on a tour around Dublin where they visited the Pentagon(HQ of the Irish Military), the Museum of Irish History, the National Archives, the University of Dublin, the Parliament Building where they met with MP's, the Eurussian Embassy in Ireland, and the State Department Building. the the closure of the visit President Robinson invited Chancellor Putin to the Presidential Palace for a State Banquet held in honour of Chancellor Putin. Many MP's, Senators, Members of the Cabinet, the First Family, the Vice-President, along with the Minority Leader of Parliament, Gerry Adams were in attendance.

Kingdom will buy historical territory from EU

Lord Cameron by the orders of King Ferdinand has published the discovery from Scottish Royal Library showing that the island in the north controlled by Great Eurussia is a historical territory of the Kingdom of Scottlands. Lord Cameron spoke to reports "This is a significant finding in the history of Scottlands. We are talking to the government of Great Eurussia to return the territory to us but they are refusing. So to avoid any problems to our alliance with them, we will offer to buy the island instead. I don't want to speculate how much but we will still discuss that with the Great Eurussian government." Ancient inhabitants of the kingdom like the Normans, Anglo Saxons, and Vikings have proven trace of their activities and culture in the Eurussian territory proving that it was indeed a part of the kingdom in the past. And because of the ancient wars with Eurussians, Scotts were forced to give away the island to the more powerful enemy. But today, the Kingdom and Great Eurussia are allies.

EURUSSIA, IRELAND FORTIFY ALLIANCE

His Excellency, Chancellor Vladimir Putin has arrived from his Official Visit to the United States of Ireland meeting the country's newly elected leader, President Gregory Robinson, which also sealed off past tensions between the two nations and strengthened their alliance. It was a warm and welcoming visit well prepared by the Irish nation which also gave the visiting Chancellor a series of engagements with its top officials and highly important state institutions. Chancellor Putin and President Robinson also led the signing of the two country's enhanced Treaty of Friendship and as well as energy related cooperation agreements which will further boost their bilateral collaboration on clean energy. The Official Visit concluded with a grand State Banquet at the presidential palace in Dublin which was also joined by several important figures from both Eurussia and Ireland.

EU PRAISES SCOUTING GOVERNMENT

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs commended the United States of Scouting for immediately resolving the potential crisis in the Security Council that was avoided following its abrupt decision to re-evaluate its participation in the World Assembly. However, it also expressed concerns following the assumption of Muchos Estados Unidos as the official representative of the World Alliance members to the World Assembly since holding the same post is creating the same uncertainty Scouting faced and successfully avoided. It remains to be seen if the MEU Government will follow the lead of the Scouting Government to avoid a potential crisis in the membership of the Security Council. The Foreign Ministry said that it will hold bilateral consultations with Muchos Estados Unidos on the matter.

EU REJECTS SCOTTLAND's CLAIMS

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has rejected the claims of the Scottish Government that the Duchy of Gibraltar located in the continent of Mnemosyne was historically part of the ancient predecessors of the present Kingdom of Scottlands saying that the claims are baseless and unfounded. The ministry said that the Duchy of Gibraltar is an integral part of the Empire of Great Eurussia since its foundation and it has never been associated politically with any other country or political entity other than Eurussia. The Foreign Ministry expressed shock and utter dismay with the current trend of the Scottish Government for its ambitions to expand its territories unlawfully ever since King Ferdinand's return to power and called on the monarch of Scottlands to adhere to international laws all the time. This is the first time the Eurussian Government referred to the Scottish King on the recent baseless claims of its government ever since the mending of ties following their most recent thaw due to the controversial leaks of documents unveiling King Ferdinand's plans to conquer neighboring international lands.

EU INTERVENES IN SNARFIA

On the other hand, the Ministry of Defense announced the deployment of undisclosed number of EUAF AC-130 Ground Attack Aircraft of the Eurussian Air Force, under the command of the Eurussian Micronesia Command of the Eurussian Armed Forces, towards Snarfia focusing on the strongholds of the communist SDHKZ that is subject to current efforts of the Snarfian Armed Forces to annihilate the armed organization. The Defense Ministry said that the resolve of the Eurussian Empire to provide military aid to its ally, Snarfia, remains strong and affirmed its commitment to protect its ally and its sovereignty at all cost.

With support from Omega Atlantica, President Miguel Hernandez is seeking the approval of Congress for coordinated sanctions with Omega Atlantica to ISIS as a punishment for the country that supports terrorism.
