(Rebuild has begun for a new and improved Novo Canuckia)

The New-Zealand government has announced the dispansion of the Allied NZ Forces, along with plans for the NZ Government to remain in Novo Cancukia and help with the rebuild of the once great nation. Due to the immense destruction incurred by the nation during the arduous Civil War, majority of the nation has been reduced to rubble and a substantial amount of the remainder have been damaged to a point where they are no longer structurally sound and safe.
The New-Zealand Government has announced that they will fund the rebuild alongside the Novo Cancukian government but will supply most of the materials and manpower. There are plans for the new city to be built with a underground subway system, fully earthquake resistant buildings, and high speed ultra fast fibre broadband connection.

The war in Novo Canucukia is truly over. The allied NZ forces have been disbanded and the forces from NSC and NZSA are returning to their original posts. The NZ forces, however, will remain in Novo Canuckia and help with the rebuild until we can send in proper contractors. We have now reduced a formerly great nation to rubble and it is our obligation to help them rebuild. We will not only help them rebuild, but we will built them a city of the future, with all the infrastruction and safety that NZ has grown accustomed to... except they'll get a subway system... we never had one of those... Anyway, we see a bright future for the relations between our two nations considering that the socialist party of Novo Canuckia has been a long standing ally, whilst Hayley Sutherland, the empress of Novo Canuckia, was brought up in New Zealand and was a part of our nation. Even to a degree where she performed the national anthem during the NZ-USS inaugural games, it was the largest event in NZ history thus far. Though we are sorry to have her leave, she will always be a daughter of New Zealand, and I'm sure she'll keep that close to her heart.

The Eurussian Chancellor and the European President has witnessed today the historic signing of an alliance treaty between the two countries signifying that both parties have reached consensus and promoted further cooperation between the two powerful nations.

According to a European diplomat, this is just one of the major success between the relations of the two countries settling differences and instead working together for the benefit of their own citizens and countries. The diplomat also said that there will still be more bilateral meetings between the two governments while they are in Eurussia.

Since yesterday, the leaders of Marquette, Aloia, Dromoda, Yellasia, the Catham Islands, and the Holy Patrician States have been holding a conference inside Bukinxston Manor, where the Chancellor of Marquette resides and runs the nation. A treaty is being drafted between the nations, but a final copy has yet to be released to the public.

Reform in the pension system, in favor of the middle class and of the most disadvantaged social classes

Today, the Parliament passed a series of laws that are preparing to revolutionize the European pension system.
This reform, promised during the election campaign by the government, is going to have a broad popular consensus.

FROZEN BABY MAMMOTH FOUND IN ORELIA PRINCIPALITY



Scientists from the University of Orelia have announced the discovery of a complete, frozen baby mammoth. The extinct creature was found in the frozen hills above Lake Alajonga by hikers.

Leading the effort to examine the baby mammoth is Doctor Charlotte Antonius, Head of Archaeology at the University of Orelia in Aurelia City. Doctor Antonius said, "This discovery is huge in understanding the natural history of our planet. We know the Alajonga gorge was carved by glaciers going toward the sea at the end of the last ice age. We've found mammoth skeletons in this area before, but this is is the first time we've found one with flesh. We think it was frozen in the permafrost in the Thunder Range and the warming of the world brought it to where these hikers found it. We can study what it ate and how it died. This is a huge development for the world."

The Eurussian Ambassador to the World Alliance has officially announced the winners of the recently concluded international elections for the region's Fourth Security Council.

The ambassador said that they have already issued official correspondence to all governments of the region to disseminate the official results of the election and congratulate all incoming members of the powerful Security Council of the World Alliance.

High King Eric and Chancellor Osterreich are in Eznurf, Marquette, for the international conference, but that didn't stop them from keeping up with their duties in Aloia. High King Eric congratulates all the other nations elected to the Security Council and has expressed his hopes that this will be the beginning of an era of great international understanding and cooperation.

High King Eric has expressed how pleased he and the Aloian government is that their two closest allies, Marquette and Holy Patrician States, have also been elected to the Security Council. King Eric was also glad to see Turkiye, a nation Aloia has cooperated with much in the past, New Zealand and Europe making up the other three elected members of the Council. As always, Great Eurussia remains on the Council, as the only nation that doesn't need to be elected to have control. The King, like most of Aloia, has questioned why Eurussia permanently has so much power. This question is yet to be answered.

He has appointed Victoria Augustus to serve as the Aloian Ambassador to the World Alliance Security Council. Augustus served as Minister of Education under Governor General Hadrian Rhodes and worked closely with Queen Aetra. Augustus was confirmed by the High Council and Chancellor Osterreich, making her Aloia's official representative to the Security Council.

The announcement of an exclusive alliance between the NZSA and E&A has taken the WA by shock. There are three major space superpowers in the World Alliance, they are "The Broatian Space Federation (BSF)", "The New-Zealand Space Alliance (NZSA)" and "The Eastern Bloc States (SSVZ)". The first two were the ones primarily involved in the standoff against the reaper invasion, the NZSA came off considerably worse in the conflict, loosing its capital city to the reapers in the early stages of war. The NZSA however has successully rebuilt and now boasts 700 million population. The SSVZ is a fairly older space republic, but has only really joined the international community recently, nonetheless they boast a population of over 2 billion and a military to complement that. These two nations have now announced that they are allying themselves together to form the United Socialist Space Colonies. The USSC will affect all the colonies under these two super powers in the following ways :
1) Free trade on all goods
2) Free immigration between all colonies
3) Extremely close military ties between colonies
4) Transferrable pensions
5) Aid and economic boosts given to colonies experiencing hardship.

This alliance is exclusive for only the NZSA and the SSVZ, at the current time there is no talks of allowing any other space powers into this alliance. Though close ties will still be kept with the BSF, there is no chance of them becoming part of the USSC due to them being heavily capitalist in their ways. The USSC has announced that they will soon be conducting a military exercise. This military exercise is intended for the SSVZ and NZSA to flex their military might to the rest of the space community, especially to those in the upcoming World Alliance Space Defense Agency (WASDA).

Parliament passes law that taxes the "super-rich", Europe is no longer a country for the rich.

After the coveted pension reform, the Parliament passed only yesterday, after debate, controversy, referrals and a legislative process that lasted months, the government has managed to approve the tax on "super-rich".

How does the new tax

Preamble

The Community shall have as its task, by establishing a common market and progressively approximating the economic policies of Member States, by agreeing to protect and defend each other during times of war and hardship, to promote throughout the Community a harmonious development of economic activities, a continuous and balanced expansion, an increase in stability (both militarily as well as economically), and an accelerated raising of the standard of living and closer relations between States belonging to it. We also hereby agree to form a more perfect international union, to reinforce justice and domestic repose and tranquility, to establish a common market and a common defense, promote general welfare, and secure the rights of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, to induct and initiate this treaty joining our respective peoples and nations.

Article I
The Rights of Man

Man shall have certain inviolable rights that shall never be taken away from him, under any circumstances. These rights include the following:

I. The Freedom of Speech and thought.

i. no man or woman shall be imprisoned for his or her beliefs or thoughts, and no man or woman shall be imprisoned because of his or her sexual orientation, political beliefs, religious beliefs, or opinions on any other matter.

II. The Freedom of the Press

i. No man or woman shall be told what to write or what not to write by his government or by others, whether it be for public use or leisure enjoyment.

III. Freedom from Slavery

i. No man should be enslaved by another man or woman.

A. Hereby defining the word 'slavery', for the purpose of this treaty, as one person or many persons being at the mercy or will of another man or woman.

IV. Freedom from Torture and Freedom from Unfair Incarceration

i. No man or woman shall be subject to torture for information or a confession under any circumstances, for any reason, or by anyone.

ii. No one shall be arrested by the police force or the international police force until the jury has come upon a verdict.

V. The Right to Fair Trial

i. Every person shall have the right to undergo fair trial when accused of a crime. Said person will have the right to a lawyer always, as well as a proper defense.

Article 2
The Eznurf International Parliament

I. The Eznurf Parliament is an international body of government, governing all nations belonging to the Eznurf Pact. It will be in charge of establishing collective foreign policies, economic policies, and military policies.

II. The Parliament shall be made up of ten representatives from each member state, making the total number of members equal to fifty. Each nation will have five representatives in the Lower House, and five in the Upper House. Each member will have only one vote, as is the Marquetien law.

III. The houses of Parliament will appoint a neutral citizen from one of the member nations to act as its spokesperson to the world. This spokesperson will announce dates set for voting on a bill, when a new bill is proposed, and what the contents of the bill are.

IV. The Parliament will meet during the second week of each month, to discuss recent international events or to debate or vote on bills that have been proposed.

i. An emergency session can be requested at any time by any member of either house of Parliament, for any reason that germane to the purpose of the Parliament.

V. It is to be specified that a nation is not obligated to follow the policies set in place by the Parliament, although it is strongly encouraged that they do so.

Article 3
The Establishment of Economic Policies and the Free Market

I. Trade should be encouraged between member states at all times, and the collective task shall be the harmonious development of the common and free markets, internationally and nationally.

II. Member nations will work to steadily lower the rate of unemployment, while simultaneously raising the standard of living for all citizens. This can be achieved by promoting jobs, promoting the growth of the economy and the free market, and promoting trade between nations.

Article 4
Military Policies

I. Member states are encouraged to aid in the defense of other member states when it is either attacked or mobilizes for war.

i. If a member nation is attacked, we do hold the responsibility to aid that nation in defending its people and its territories.

ii. When a member nation mobilizes for war, we do not have the obligation to aid them in their war efforts, but it is strongly encouraged.

II. Two member nations may not go to war with each other under any circumstances.

i. If two members go to war, they must be expelled from the alliance.

ii. They can both rejoin the alliance up to one time. Afterwards, it is apparent that neither nation wishes to promote international peace and prosperity.

With the signing of this treaty, the Constitutional Monarchy of Yellasia, the Constitutional Monarchy of Marquette, the Imperial Confederation of Holy Patrician States, the People's Republic of Dromoda, the Armed Republic of the Catham Islands, and the Kingdom of Aloia collectively agree to all of the terms listed above. TRAGEDY IN EUROPE AND ASIA

Tragedy struck the City of Taldykorgan, Kazakhistan today, when the Nuclear Reactor in the town went critical and underwent Thermonuclear Fusion. The Hydrogen Reactor, located at the Korgan National Nucleqr Facility, suffered a malfunction during a routine test, causing the hydrogen to undergo uncontrolled fusion. The energy released triggered a thermonuclear explosion equal to around 10-15 Megations, totally obliterating the entire city and most of the surrounding countryside. In what remains of the city, Martial Law has been declared and the Eurasian National Guard was deployed to the area.

The Ministry of Energy has expressed the nation's sympathy to the thousands of lives lost and affected on the region's worst tragedy in history at Taldykorgan in Europe & Asia.

The ministry announced that they will be sending the country's top nuclear scientists to aid their government in controlling the disaster and avert the possible spread of radiation to other parts of the country and worst to neighboring countries.

MILITARY ESTIMATES DEATH-TOLL





The Military and scientists in the area have estimated that around 1.3 Million people have been killed due to the explosion from the reactor. The commonwealth thanks Eurussia for helping in this tragedy, and also announces that several of its space fleet will return in system to aide with removal of debris.

The NZSA (New-Zealand Space Alliance) has announced that some of its troops will return with its fellow USSC member, the SSVZ (Europe and Asia Space Fleet). The NZSA will aid in the removal of debris and transport civilians/ aid workers in and out of the disaster zone. Some NZSA troops will also join in the search and rescue operation whilst top NZSA Scientists will aid in the plan for stabilizing the nuclear core and decontamination of the area and its people. However, The Government of New-Zealand has stated that it will not be able to send any form of aid to E&A due to NZ currently putting all its effort into the disaster in Hamilton, Novo Cancukia and helping rebuild the ravaged nation. On the topic of aid to E&A, The New-Zealand Colonies has not yet released any statement of its intentions, but it is believed that this nation will stay on the sidelines unless the situation in E&A escalates.

Europe will help the Eurasia, the mission begins "EUFOR Europe and Asia"

7) The European Army will send 10,000 men and 6,500 vehicles (all totally unarmed, help the rescue of Europe and Asia with vehicles and specialized equipment)
n addition, the State Police and the Carabinieri Corps are willing to send about 2.400 men and 1.300 vehicles for anti-profiteering services.
The Navy and the Air Force are willing to offer a fleet of 10 ships of logistical support and 25 transport planes to evacuate people.
These units will come from across the nation, and will be conveyed at the main military bases in the country (such as Seaside), from there leave for Europe and Asia.
The units will be transported by a fleet of transport ships of the Navy and a fleet of transport aircraft and elicopter of the Air Force.
Ready also tons of medical and food aid, as well as other basic necessities (such as clothes or baby food), and also various equipment (such as removable housing etc..).

Immigration Reform On The Agenda In The Catham Islands



The National Front party is continuing their crusade against crime and unemployment by submitting a bill that will impose drastically strict Immigration Laws. The bill, which is expected to pass due to the National Front’s 68% majority, was subjected to debate within parliament earlier today which should continue until the vote in two days’ time. A brief summary of the bills content has been disclosed to the public as follows, if the bill is passed it will be implemented immediately.

1) Entry Permit
All foreigners intending on visiting The Catham Islands must apply for an Entry Permit which is approved on a case-by-case basis. The Entry permit must be used in the same way as the Biometric National ID Cards. They will require a retinal scan and fingerprint from each applicant, each card will be registered in the Ministry of Immigration’s Database which will record all of its actions. Citizens of an Eznurf Pact member state are entitled to stay 45 days on an Entry Permit whereas citizens of non-member states are only entitled to 14 days. Holders of an Entry Permit are forbidden to work or study in The Catham Islands.

2) Working Permit
The Working Permit is only available to citizens of Eznurf Pact member states. The Working Permit is also not available to unskilled workers or persons under the age of 21 and it acts the same way as a Biometric National ID Card. The Working Permit entitles the holder to stay in The Catham Islands for a maximum of 12 months at which point the person must leave the country or reapply. The holder of a Working Permit is also entitled to sit The Catham Islands drivers test.

3) Citizenship
An immigrant can apply for citizenship in The Catham Islands once they have worked in the country for a minimum of 5 years. Citizenship cannot be acquired through marriage or family reunification.

4) Deportation
The police force will be provided with the resources required for effectively locating and deporting any illegal, criminal and unemployed immigrants hiding in The Catham Islands. Individuals found to be housing illegal immigrants will be severely punished and a hotline will be set up to for citizens to give tips and aid investigations.

The decree also returns the name of the provinces into their traditional names, duchies.

The Socialist Party Leader, Vladimir Pootin, has criticized the Conservative Party led by its leader and the incumbent Chancellor, David Cameroon, for the government's failure to aggressively address the growing crime rates in the country.

He also highlighted the recent publication of global rankings where Eurussia attained the level of 120 over 128 which he said is already alarming. For the first time in history, The Social Democracy of New-Zealand has reported a Net Loss in immigration statistics. The primary cause of this? The New-Zealand Colonies. In recent years the New-Zealand Colonies has experienced a tremendous economic growth that has left both NZ and NZSA miles behind it. Both NZSA and NZ continue to boast booming world leading economies which rank 12th and 13th respectively, NZSA having a GDP/Capita of $59.58 Thousand and NZ similarly having a GDP/Capita of $59.2 Thousand. The New-Zealand Colonies, however, has skyrocketed to a point where it boasts a staggering GDP/Capita of $75.36 Thousand. This monumentous economic growth has now made the New-Zealand Colonies the 7th strongest economy in the WA (NZSA and NZ at 12th and 13th). This massive boom has attracted many people from NZ who wish to make use of the free immigration and make some quick cash in the NZC. The NZ Colonies seems to be continuing to grow at this unbelievably high rate, whilst the NZ and NZSA economies seem to have stagnated. Though they maintain the same GDP/Capita, their GDP Growth only manages to keep up with population growth. Only time will tell just how sound the economy of the NZC is, and if it will have a negative effect on NZ and NZSA. Will NZ and NZSA face a massive brain drain to the NZC? For now, we cant tell for sure, but it is possible.

A computer virus has crippled the NZC by rendering all electronic devices with access to the internet at exact 4:38PM usless. This has had a catastrophic economic effect on the NZC as it has shut down many businesses and frozen the stock market. More worringly, however, is that the virus has disabled all the NZC defense networks. Currently all our long range sensors, AA Guns and missile interceptors are down and all communication has been lost between the various colonies and military bases. The NZC has reported via radiowave that they have all their available technicians attempting to get the systems working once more. They have also reported that their first priority is to get the healthcare and defense sectors fully functioning once more. They will then proceed with a purge of all the electronic devices on the NZC network.
