Emir Orders execution of suspected terrorist

Emir Abu Lakiptanii has ordered the beheading and decapitate of 34 people because of charges of terrOrism. In ISIS, there is peace and no place for violence and threat.

Emir Abu Lakiptani ordered firing squad to 696 drug convicts and prisoners

After many appeals, Emir did not gave any clemency or pardon to drug convicts and ordered to continue with the fire squad against hundreds of drug related convicts and prisoners because of the ISIS non-tolerance to drugs. This is a warning to any foreigner or local Abusian that will try to sell or buy drugs within ISIS. Emir said that any country that will condemn the lawful of execution of drug convicts will be treated as drug supporting countries and their citizens will be viewed with caution and suspicion.

Scottish Royal Library discovers something!

A discovery by students of Scottlands is being prepared by the university and Scottish Government to be presented to King Ferdinand for approval. It is a long lost book about geography and history making a discovery that a big island occupied by a foreign country is actually a territory and historically part of the Kingdom. This is a very big news and is being studied carefully so that island will be returned to its rightful owner which is Scottlands. There is a hint however that island is just near the kingdom.

Emir Abu Lakiptani opens ISIS to all religion

He ordered the government to remove the ban to other religions after understanding other beliefs in the Islamic Conference. The Emir is also now approving of the request of Ireland to open a church in ISIS in exchange of opening again Islamic School in Ireland.

Hello my name is Ted Nivea, of the Trinity public broadcasting channel, and I like to welcome all of you to today's news report. First Lord Logan has appointed to twins as the next candidates to be elected king/queen and Lord/Duchess. Tyler and Taylor Jettison are the new prince and princess of the 14th island, Logan's Kingdom, home of the Domestic Affairs Department and The Lord himself. I was told that they were chosen out of pity; are homeless. Tyler, 16, and Taylor, 12, are the youngest candidates in this election.

Moving on to immediate matters, the Gov.'t of ISIS has manufactured  too much cities and mosques to manage the livelihood of their people. Despite the people of The Islamic States' "nature," First Visionnaire Francis has asked First Duchess Jennifer to foolishly agree to a trade deal with ISIS to avoid the always chosen violent option, like with New Korrea. Instead of offering The Northern Sector where the Korrean-Sectarians now reside due to the removal of Korrea, he wishes to split the land that is used for our regular tradeing between the main islands and the Sector. Why choose the land closest to us instead of ISIS? Pure stupidity. I am personally looking forward to elections.

Emir orders daily prayer in all schools

To make sure the people and other citizens in ISIS will continue to respect God and become guide in daily life to become good people, Emir Abu Lakiptani ordered mandatory daily prayers in all schools to instill on children the importance of knowing Allah in our everyday life. This is necessary to show other nation that ISIS is not a bad country but only looks bad because of other countries.

Togana's Senate passes massive Defense Increase.
    The national senate today passed a new budget that increases the spending on defense by 7%. increase is due to the amount of new equipment being purchased and to better professionalize the military.

    General Owen stated, "you cant expect us to fight a war or be involved on the world stage with the equipment we have at our disposal today. Our army is using weapons from the 80s and 90s with no major upgrades and our air-force would be shot out of the sky by any real power."

    This increase the DoD says will allow the army to buy newer guns and the navy to fund more ship replacements.

Yirrick As special elections are on the way the Chamber of Affairs had to approve the motion of support for the Citizens League. In a debate that lasted for over 6 hours and wasn't a won race from the beginning.

The Motion was put forward by the Constitutional League, whom have 6/24 seats in the Chamber. In the first round of voting they only got 8/24 votes. 6 for the CL, 1 from the Independent senator and 1 from the LP.



After the debate however they managed to get the whole Libertarian Party behind them as they were never against the idea, but they had the principals to be against politics on a higher level whatsoever. After the CL Promised that the Citizens League would not vote for laws that would increase the power of the SC they voted for and the motion was passed with 17/24.

PPS-leader Almesa alleged to have fled Corralejo after the public prosecutor annouces to open a  supreme court case against him.


Nuevo Habana - Party leader Almesa of the Partido Pueblo Soberano appears to have fled Corralejo after spokesman Enrique Helmera of the public prosecutor had annouced they were to open a case on charges of power abuse against the leader of the 3rd political party in Corralejo.

Almesa, son of former dictator Matteo Almesa, already spent twentytwo years in jail between 1983 and 2005 on various charges ranging from abuse of power to discrimination and collaboration to a dictatorial regime. He was released from prison in september 2005 after an appeal to the newly founded Supreme Court. The court found at the time that there was not enough evidence to support his abuse of power nor his intentions to, eventhough he had specifically demanded the power to be returned to him after general Batista seized power. But more importantly, Almesa was not given a fair trial and was sentenced to life in prison without hearing his side.

According to spokesman Helmera, the public prosecutor has collaborated with police and military officials to gather enough evidence to get Almesa convicted once more on a fair trial. work started back in 2005 and seems to have finished now with the case being announced. Almesa will allegedly be charged with treason, abuse of power and collaboration to a dictorial regime and if found guilty, Almesa will be sentenced to life in prison once more.

But according to local police, Almesa seems to have left his house in Santa Clara and departed for the Aeropuerto Batista Nuevo Habana. Unconfirmed information suggests he has used a false name and passport to travel to the State of Panem where he will seek asylum. Police did arrest his wife, Manuela Almesa-Viczai, at the property and brought her in for questioning. It remains unclear whether or not his wife will be prosecuted as well, as in 1990 all other Almesa family members where given amnesty by general Batista after a public apology.

Scottish Parliament issues declaration automatically making citizens of Ushten Island as Scottish

Proud of the support of ISIS Ruler, King Ferdinand has made new bold moves to strengthen its claim on Ushten Island known in Eurussia as Gibraltar Island. His Majesty approved the declaration making all native inhabitants of Ushten Island as Scottish citizens. They can get their free passports with the national map of the kingdom at the Embassy. The national map is controversial because it has the true islands of Ushten on it. The King says Great Eurussia should stop intimidating small nations and negotiate the dispute and face the true history. And as a gesture of friendship, the King has sent an invitation to the Empress of Great Eurussia to discuss the issue once and for all to preserve the alliance. People and other nation are supporting the King because he is peacefully talking to Great Eurussia government regarding the territorial dispute which they keep on avoiding. Many are supporting because the Scottish history is believable since looking at the world map, there is no trace of Eurussia on the region and clearly the island belongs to Scottlands and was just taken only in the ancient times by colonialists from Eurussia. According to the invitation, the King is willing to travel to Eurussia and talk to the Empress or he could prepare for a grand welcome for the Empress in the kingdom.

President Hammond Elected to his third term.

President Hammond has won reelection again and will remain in office for 5 more years. He easily defeated his appointments in what many are calling a rigged election, with 61% of the vote. Hammond's popularity before election has suffered due to a slowing economy and internal issues, but with his reelection he has said that he will institute economic reforms and clamp down on internal strife.

Breaking News

  Protests in the capitol center have turned violent after police forces attempt to force demonstrators to go home. Numerous injuries and a death have been reported. Unknown number at this time.

  People are protesting against the reelection of President Hammond for his 3rd term saying that the election was rigged. The people are demanding that he and his cabinet resign and the elections be redone.

Political riots Turn Violent
  That riots that started after the reelection of President Hammond, have died down in the capitol city. President Hammond ordered protesters to go home and then security forces removed them by force, with 1 killed and dozens injured. Also police forces arrested 52 people.
  While the riots have died down in the capitol, in the south of the nation have intensified. Armed groups have taken over the regional government building. Report of police laying down their arms and even joining the groups have surfaced. President Hammond has ordered the National Police to intervene and put down the riots with force. So far their is no actual count on death or injuries, but rumors have that up to 23 have been killed (Not Verified). The ministry of Justice have arrested 287 people so far and rumors of many more missing are circulating.

  President Hammond has signed new laws that are aimed to reform the economy. The law puts new restrictions on the banking and investment industries. Also the president has new regulations for the economy, saying that the "way to keep a bright future is to keep what we have today." The new law allows the EPA to add more land into the reserve system but stopped short of passing new regulations on mining and farming, so as to not stagnate economic growth.

After recent findings of a medium-large sized uranium deposit in the mountainous areas on the borders of Corinthos, the Ecclesia has approved the contruction of a Nuclear Power Plant in order to supply the ever-growing energy need of the population. The nuclear power plant was named Prometheus, after the Titan who stole the fire from Olympus and gave it to the humans.

The construction will provide thousands of jobs for both Metics and Thetes, the two lowest classes of Corinthian society, and the power plant itself will employ hundreds of people on the long run aswell. Scientists and economists foresay that the Prometheus Plant will decrease energy cost of Corinthos by 30%, and will be able to provide electricity for 80% of the population. The Republic had to rely so far on imported oil and coal, as these resources are scarce in the region. Spokesperson of the Ecclesia, Demades of Paenia gave the following short speech during an interview about the topic:
"Attempts for alternative energy sources have been made, but Wind Farms require way too much space which would cause a significant drop in agriculture, given the limited land we have. Solar power plants are present, yet they can not supply us with enough energy. The Republic of Corinthos can not rely on foreign imports of coal and oil on the long run. Nuclear Power is our number one option, especially now that we do not have to import uranium. Prometheus will, once again, deliver fire to mankind."

So far, only minor protests took place against the Prometheus Plant, involving no more than 500 people, after the Ecclesia announced the project. The political leadership is, suprisingly, all aligned towards this goal, which is a very rare situation in the political culture of Corinthos.
