Thank you for coming to the official page for the Arveyres Freedom Index or AFI. The AFI is an Arveyres-based rating index organisation operated out of Paris, Arveyres. The main aspect of the AFI is to provide information about various rights and freedoms in different nations. The way the information is gathered is via surveys that are telegrammed to members of the organisation. Only the latest surveys will be telegrammed to new members, to send in older surveys, please find them in the Survey Questions post.L'INDICE DE LA LIBERTÉ PAR LES ARVEYRES

Thank you for taking your time to read this post. We hope you will give your information to us to inform all other nations of what your nation is like.
• Guidelines and Notifications •
1) The main technical account of the AFI is the AFI Delegate.— 1a) All surveys will be sent from the AFI Delegate.
— 1b) All completed surveys must be sent to the AFI Delegate, if not, they will not be counted.
— 2a) Partially-completed surveys will be considered void.
2, amended) If a survey has not answered a question, the answer will automatically be seen as negative.
3) Please be patient whilst awaiting the acceptance of your application.
— 3a) If you are not patient, you may be barred from the organisation.
4) The Royal Society of Arveyres reserves the right to remove, suspend, eject, ban or restrict any nation from the organisation.
— 4a, amended) The Catham Islands, appointed moderator on 3 April 2014, is currently on leave, and thus the sole moderator on the thread will be Arveyres.
5) Any nation reserves to bring up any issue with the organisation on this thread.
6) Any nation reserves the right to leave the AFI at any time or to remove themselves from he results of any survey.
7) Any nation is eligible to join the AFI*.
— 7a) To be included on the map, your nation must have territory on the map.
8)Any nation is able to receive three strikes before permanent ejection from the AFI
— 8a) A nation will receive a strike when any of the following occur: suspension, posting comments talking down upon any other WA Citizen, posting rude/hateful comments.
— 8b) A nation will also receive a strike upon their return when they are placed under suspension or they voluntarily leave.
9) The AFI Thread prohibits the use of foul language, and discriminatory posts in any way.
— 9a) Any discriminatory posts will be deleted by the Founder, and the Founder will be notified of your actions.
10) This section is subject to changes at any time. All changes take effect immediately; no exceptions.
* If a nation has been ejected/banned from the AFI, they will not be eligible for re-entry unless said otherwise by the Royal Society of Arveyres or the Kingdom of the Catham Islands (see section 4).

• Grading Scale and Method •
To take the rating of a nation, their results are tallied according to if they are a negative or positive response (given a one or a zero), then a total percentages of questions with positive responses out of the total amount of questions. This percentage gives the score. If a survey results in a nation receiving a percentage that does not end in zero, the percentage is rounded to the closest number ending in zero.0% - COMPLETE RESTRICTION
10% - NEARLY-COMPLETE RESTRICTION
20% - HEAVY RESTRICTION
30% - MEDIUM RESTRICTION
40% - BECOMING LESS RESTRICTED
50% - LESS RESTRICTED
60% - BECOMING FREE
70% - RELATIVELY FREE
80% - NEARLY FREE
90% - ALMOST-FULLY FREE
100% - COMPLETELY FREE

I'm fairly sure I have land on the map, far to the south, with the capital city listed as "Winter" rather than Winter City, after the last map update.
