Concerning the debate of the international reserve currency, the United Kingdoms of Apepistan would like to voice their concerns for this. Regardless of what currency will be chosen, the leglisation will ultimately serve the host nations economy.
Our concerns aren't economical but political in nature; this legislation would lead to the increased influence of one host nation over other nations in the WA.

We urge that this discussion be continued at the general forum at the Security Council. Nonetheless, we wish to defend the proposed international reserve currency, on the basis of economic prospects as we have yet to define how and which international reserve currency be used.
First, we are just applying what is happening in real life like the US Dollar. The difference is, we are making it official here so that international transactions and trans-national financial transactions will be based on that "IRC" just like when using money references pertaining to the WA Government, for example. Since we cannot generalize the use of "$" without any basis.
Second, making it official here does not mean forcing nations to adopt that IRC but rather allow other nations who are willing to harmonize their currencies to the IRC for their own benefits such as in their foreign reserves and international financial transactions of their citizens.
Third, there is no problem creating a 'new' named currency just to supress the worries of those afraid of the baseless political implications. But doing so will bring us back to the first problem, where will it be based?

We find New Rhodinia's work and way of representation of the continent without wanting, so the United Kingdoms of Apepistan are perfectly fine with voicing their opinion on the specific part of the WA forums, but also we'd like to thank you in case this was an invitation and authorization to take part of the official WASC discussion.

The big difference in this case is, then, that if we make it official, we freeze that IRC into it's position to a certain degree, while having it unofficial allows the process of another IRC emerging as the economic influences of the sovereign nations change.

We fully understand the benefits of this, as we said, our concerns are of a different nature.

Instead of picking a single nation as the host of the IRC, why not make it like the EURO was IRL? If we are seeking a strong economy for it, why won't we base the starting value on the top X nations with the highest overall economical statistics? The more nations' economical standing is involved in determining the value of the new currency, the less political concerns there are about it.

Indeed. That is why our proposed mechanism is like that of what MEU proposed where the WASC may vote on which national currency shall be designated as the WA Reserve Currency although through another independent body like that of the World Bank or IMF sort.
Or name a new currency and just choose a national currency where its value will be based. Although we have not yet come up with a definite mechanism at the moment since we need more time to conduct studies.

We are open to this mechanism. And if you can provide further details, we may opt to support it.

I believe that the tracker website we are currently using are not up-to-date with the reworked Nationstates economic statistics and trackers. Once that's done we could open the World Alliance Bank which would determine the exact way of determining the value of the IRC.

Since terrorism is a topic discussed a lot recently in the WA, the United Kingdoms of Apepistan are curious if the WASC has already set a definition for terrorism before it passes any laws or acts about it?

The United Kingdons of Apepistan would like to express their utter disapproval towards the recent proposals of New Korrea regarding war, because they are without any reason or sense.

I agree. New Korrea is only proposing these because all the spot light is on him for now. They make no sense and only again flooding the SC of his nonsense. A one billion NSD fine? I piss that much in a minute. It's pocket change for most nations here.

We also share the same sentiments, yet we don't think they are too pointless. Believe it or not we see a couple points that are decent, but even then the rest of the proposals fall apart and are more individual requests from New Korrea. So yes, in their current states, we are also against them.
