ATLETIUS STEADFAST IN ITS SUPPORT FOR SECESSIONISTS

Despite a number of other nations either refusing to recognise the secessionists, or withdrawing their recognition entirely. The government has maintained its support for the Farshonian Secessionists, in particular the Republic of Berlin. In a statement the Foreign office said,

"The secessionists have a right to self determination, they have thrown out what was ultimately an extremely corrupt unstable regime. We must support this."

Preliminary results show another clear victory for the Liberal Party, led by Acting Prime Minister Taylor Reed.

Reed has already been congratulated by numerous former Prime Ministers including the most recent, and successful Prime Minister Ajax Knight, whose shock resignation caused this election.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that it is supporting the moves of the Irish Government calling for a WAAF Intervention in Farshonia to protect the legitimate Imperial Government of Wilhelm III and the people of Farshonia against the opportunistic and illegally seceeding rogue states of Farshonia. The ministry also seconded the views of the European Government that the secessionist rebels are contributing to the worsening situation in the country and cannot even stand on their own capabilities if a legal independence is even granted by Emperor Wilhelm III. The Foreign Ministry said that the WAAF Intervention, which is expected to be aided by the WAHO, will help the Farshonian Government in finally maintaining long term stability and order throughout the country in which the ministry described as currently facing a "humanitarian crisis" which urgently needs the WAAF & WAHO.

ATLETIUS CONDEMNS ARTIC INVASION

In a statement released this morning Foreign Secretary Jonathan Stirling harshly condemned the Artic invasion of one of the Farshonian secessionist states, The Sultanate of South Farshonia.

He said it is "a barbaric, disgusting invasion of a neutral country. One that is reprehensible and should be punished by the international community."

In response to this invasion the MoD announced that the 1st Fleet , aided by elements of the 3rd, will move to protect the other secessionist states, in particular the Republic of Berlin.

The MoD highlighted that this was not a hostile move, but simply a precaution.

The Ministry of Defense revealed that it is now studying the prospects of providing financial assistance, weapons, supplies, and intelligence support to the legitimate Farshonian Government, if Emperor Wilhelm III requests for such military aid to unite Farshonia once again and quell the secessionist movements in the self proclaimed yet illegally established Sultanate of South Farshonia, Kingdom of Hanover-Oldenburg, Republic of Pomerania, Republic of Hessen, and the Republic of Berlin. The Kingdom of New Tarajan has been extremely rapid in reacting to the recent news of Articmaina and the Northern Imperial Union invading the Sultanate of South Farshonia. Following the Atletian statement of condemnation, Prime Ministr Esther Farah Rumaki released an official declaration in a press conference held at the Palace of Government: "The Kingdom of New Tarajan is extremely disappointed by the decision of Articmaina and the Northern Imperial Union to invade South Farshonia. It is not only a gratuitous act of imperialism, but also the best way to trigger a wider conflict in an unstable area. We are here to officially warn the invading forces to immediately withdraw, or they will face soon the reaction of the International Community."
No words has been spoken about the eventual sending of troops in the new conflict, but the Prime Minister confirmed that the troops stationed in Arveyres have been mobilized and are actually in orange alert, ready for action.

Moreover, the Prime Minister announced that "we have received a letter from Farshonia, confirming their acceptance of our proposal of a Peace Summit to be host here in Astana. And we are already preparing everything for the Summit, which will begin soon. That will be the only, legitimate field where the people of Farshonia as a whole will decide about their own future, and not on a battlefield of an imperialistic war."
The announcement had the effect to confirm the position of New Tarajan as a key mediator in the difficult Farshonian issue, which some officials of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs recently defined as "a minefield of the foreign affairs of our regions". It also confirms the intention of the Kingdom to minimize as much as possible, keeping it to the sole field if diplomacy and mediation, the interference of the International Community. The idea is to avoid dangerous escalations and new conflicts, thus it is highly probable that the recent attacks, if not withdrawn, will seen the Kingdom in the frontline of a swift reaction.

At news of Ireland supplying Farshonia will arms and soldiers to attack secessionist states, Atletius was harshly condemned Ireland, and has order the closure of Ireland's embassy, and has sent home the Irish Ambassador.
The government said that, "Ireland's actions are barbaric, and put not only proposed peace talks under threat and the stability of the region, but the lives of thousands of civilians. Their move is horrific and callous. One that is abhorrent and should shock the international community."

In another statement the government warned that "if Ireland attacks the Republic of Berlin then a state of war will exist between our two nations."

The MoD has announced that the 1st and 3rd Fleets positioned near Berlin have been ordered to shoot down any planes or naval vessels that threaten their security or the security of the Republic of Berlin."

The MoD has assured however that it hopes this will not happen, and the fleets, positioned in International Waters are there to protect a neutral nation, and aid any future peacekeeping operations,

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a message from the Emperor saying the following.

Emperor Francois Hollande wrote:If any of Ireland planes or vessels gets destroyed by Atletius then this will be taken as an Act of War. If they do as they say they will then we will declare Atletius an enemy of Ireland. We are awaiting approval by King Wilhelm III but as soon as we get it we attack. Atletius be damned. Our actions are not barbaric we are defending an Ally against Rebels. If you see it as barbaric then that is to bad. Again we are defending an Ally to Ireland.

The 2nd Air Command Fleet of the Imperial Airforce has been ordered to attack any Atletius ships that attack Imperial Planes. The 3rd Sea Fleet of the Imperial Navy has been also ordered by the Ministry of Defense to sink any Atletius ship that attack Imperial Ships. But has said that if they dont attack the we dont attack. But we will still defend Farshonia.

Today, an announcement has been made by the Chancellor condemning Ireland's role in escalating tensions in the region.

Chancellor Zheng wrote:
I know Ireland and Farshonia are close, but you must get international approval before attacking anyone. The situation is extremely volatile and it does not help that you aggravate this even further. That being said if you attack Berlin or Hannover, you will get missiles down your throat. That is not a threat but a warning of what will happen if you do.

The Chancellor also approved creating a No-Fly Zone over the Republic of Berlin using new state of the art air superiority fighters. 10 armed fighters are continually guarding with 40 more aircraft ready to strike if needed. Program: Guardian is also watching the skies for unidentified aircraft.

After hearing of the alliance of Ireland and Articmainia to invade Farshonia, the government of Planita immediately ordered the deployment of 60,000 troops on the border of the Republic of Berlin and Planita. The air force has scrambled its entire fleet of jets to join the no-fly over the Republic and the Government has alerted the international community.

Planita Engages Irish Forces: Continues Evacuations

After the Irish attempt to recapture the new nations that seceded from the Farshonian Empire, the Planitan forces have engaged Irish forces in air battles over the Republic of Berlin. Air battle rage over Berlin as Planitan strike forces are sent in and civilians are evacuated by helicopter.

Listen to me, you aren't doing anyone any favors. This is the worst way to "liberate" a country. Please call of your attack and withdraw immediately.

The Chancellor also called for international invention in the former states of Farshonia. He also warns, "Condemning them doesn't work, we tried that option. They only listen to missile fire." He also went on saying that Ireland has a twisted sense of "what has to be done."
The evacuation of noncombatants is going to plan as well.

ATLETIUS SADDENED BY EVENTS,
1st and 3rd Fleets help Planitan forces enforce no-fly zone

The Atletian government once again has condemned Ireland and Articmainia. It said
"These countries are pretending to liberate the secessionists. They clearly do not understand the meaning of the word. They are clearly no less than warmongering imperialist nations with no respect for common decency or self-determination."

In the same statement the government said that the 1st and 3rd Fleets currently in the Farshonian Sea will help Planita enforce a no-fly zone over the Republic of Berlin, and will engage any forces that threaten the country.

The government expressed regret that Ireland is ignoring its agreement not to invade, and to allow the WAAF to begin Peacekeeping operations. Ireland's move not only makes the WAAFs job harder, but also those of diplomats trying to find a peaceful solution to this crisis.
As such, the government revealed that Atletius will seek the expulsion of Ireland from the WAAF, for turning it's back on the organisations ideals.

The Social Democracy officially declared a state of national emergency today as Irish and Articmainian forces in their senseless invasion of Farshonian soil. Due to the close proximity of Farshonia to the Social Democracy, it was within the NZ Governments best interests to maintain a somewhat form of stability in the peninsula. However, the outbreak of a direct invasion on the neighbour would result in a serious blow to national confidence unless the Social Democracy was to act in defence of the innocent states. Therefore the Social Democracy employed an immediate act of war and commenced operation "Batten Down The Hatches" or BDTH for short. The NZ Forces will move to form an immediate defensive perimeter around the Farshonian states and make their best attempt to hold off any invaders. However, the NZ Government stressed that this will be the extent of NZ aid as the current situation of the reforming NZ Economy means that overextension of NZ international efforts will result in a catastrophic collapse of the promising capitalist economy. It also expressed it's condemnation of Ireland and Articmainia, going as far as to say it will support a motion to revoke the WAAF membership of Ireland for it's complete rejection of the WAAF fundamentals and joint committee decisions.
