SAN FRANCISCO, Aloia == The Planitan attack on the Eurussian island has worried the whole world, and it has bothered Aloians no less. Talosians, citizens of Aloia's sister state in the Olympian continent, are especially concerned over the attacks. The Eurussian island attacked is only halfway between Planita and Talos, putting Talos in a dangerously close position. Aloia has already increased security measures in Talos and has repositioned troops and ships in Talos. Aloia has also voiced their open support for Eurussia in this time. Chancellor Robinson has also said that Aloia will support any Eurussian calls for sanctions, if Eurussia feels they will be necessary to support international stability.

Congress to vote on whether to help Eurussia or not
After many days of pressure by the Eurussian Ambassador in Dublin and President Enda Kenny, Emperor Francois Hollande has gave in and called for an Emergency Congressional Session.In his speech in front of Congress he included helping Eurussia. This aid would include up to 2 Billion Euros in Loans, and Ireland going to War with Planita if Eurussia attacks Planita or vice-versa.Also in the speech Emperor Francois Hollande said that he would rather stay neutral but our ally might need help.

Newly elected Premier Claude Fortier announced in his Inaugural Commonwealth Address that the Eurasian Government fully supports Eurussia in the recent Eurussian-Planitan Crisis. The Premier stated:

Many have heard of the troubling development between Eurussia and Planita. The Socialist Commonwealth of Europe and Asia has maintained a treaty with Great Eurussia for time immemorial, and we have stood by Eurussia in far darker times than this. Therefore, I will call upon the Senate and the Assembly should the situation deteriorate further. EU IMPOSES TRAVEL BAN ON PLANITA

As the Planitan Ambassador in Moscow continues to hold talks with the Eurussian Government to avert further escalation in Planita due to the missile attack, it seems that breakthrough on talks still has a long way to go as the Minister of Transportation, Anthony Foxx, announced a new measure against the Union of Planita;

Our Armed Forces will maintain their positions in Planita as we will never tolerate any aggression in our shores. We also find it unacceptable the explanations of the Planitan Government that it has no control over its so called Section 31 who initiated the missile attack to supposedly catch a criminal. What kind of government is that? Ordering a missile attack on a foreign soil without the nod of the Chancellor of Planita? Are they joking?

Nevertheless, the Eurussian Aviation Authority has already imposed an international travel ban in Planita stopping all two way flights between our countries. We also advice our allied governments to move your citizens out of Planita for their own safety and security.

Thus, the Guernsey Standoff remains.

As diplomacy between the two countries continue to get blurred, the inevitable becomes clear by the day for as long as the Planitan Government cannot justify its actions over the missile attack in the Duchy of Guernsey. The Eurussian Armed Forces continues to scare off Planitans with their maneuvers in Planita as the Eurussian Air Force continues to show their bombers flying into the cities, the Eurussian Navy continues to patrol Planitan coastlines, while the Eurussian Army continues to perform military drills in the border sending thundering sounds from tanks and artillery putting more burden on Planita.

Congress votes NO
Since early today Congress had been debating whether to help Eurussia or not.After the statement released by the Minister of Foreign Affairs over 75% of Congress swayed to one side of the Argument. So at roughly 10:15 PM voting began and at 10:50 the results were through. Out of 900 MCs, 700 voted No to aid and 200 voted yes. Speaker of Congress John DeBary quoted after the vote

In related news, the Planitan Executive Council has ordered an investigation into Section 31, the unofficial intelligence arm of the Planitan Armed Forces. TU will have 3 capitals because of TU being a Union but not a country. The representative will be chosen but representative won't be the the one who will be leader not like old system. In this system, representative can still form new regulations but not constitutions. Only 3 leaders together can change the constitution with the approval of citizens and the parliament. Also the Isolationist Policy will be removed while Neutralist Policy's effects on TU will be less because of newly formed Interventionist Policy. Today a sharp blast shook the City of Liberia today, as part of the Union Assembly Complex exploded. The explosion was in the main building, setting it ablaze. Emergency crews raced to the scene and began evacuations. The fire spread from its starting point, destroying most of the building before it could be stopped from spreading. 15 people are confirmed dead and dozens more are missing. The Chancellor was a couple miles away at the time of the explosion at the Union Executive Building. He made a short speech where he announced that an investigation will be made into the cause of the explosion.

After the " Peoples Republic of Regornia" declared independence from texania, The 3rd Fleet was sent to blockade the supplies that was sent by Dromoda from reaching Regornia. Texania has also released that an estimated 3 million people support the new republic, nearly the entire population of the province of Airedunn. Over 14,000 Texanian troops have defected from the armed forces, and the Regornian rebels have captured over 35 M1A2 Abrams, as well as 5 Leclerc tanks. 100 M551 Sheridian light tanks have been captured, and 2 C-130 planes have been captured. They have also captured the T28 Super Heavy Tank prototype, which can destroy a tank from 5 miles away, if the shot if direct enough. 300 MRAP vehicles have been captured. These were all captured at the military base in Airedunn. Fuel for 6 Months of heavy combat was at the base when it was captured.

Over 60 MiG-29 Fighter Jets were located in the base and are presumed captured. 400 MiG-15 trainer aircraft have been captured, and intel suggests that the Regornian Rebels plan to use them in combat. About 100 other aircraft from about 2 dozen designs have also been captured. The made up 40% of Texania's Airforce. It was all captured from the military base, which was the largest military airport in texania.

In all, 25% of texania's military equipment was captured by the rebels. Texania has asked that the World Alliance does not intervene at the moment.

Dromoda, Dark Matter hasn't been conclusively proved, and even if it was AND it could be collected, it would be useless as a weapon because of its unreactive properties with matter...

Antimatter is a tangible resource, however it is so incredibly hard to produce, store and deploy that it is not feasable at all. I would draw you attention to the 'Uses' section of the page. I will quote the 'weaponry segment here,

EURUSSIA SUSPENDS INTELLIGENCE COOPERATION WITH PLANITA

The Ministry of Defense issued a statement announcing the suspension of bilateral intelligence cooperation between the Eurussian Intelligence Agency and Planita's Intelligence Community, including the controversial Section 31, following the Guernsey Missile Attack. The ministry said that the Eurussian Government has received a correspondence from the Office of the Chancellor of Planita showing no development on the investigation over Section 31.

EU HOLDS NAVAL EXERCISES IN PLANITA

Queen Marina of Aloia is now well on in her pregnancy with a baby girl, the future princess of Aloia and... New-Zealand? That's right folks, for those of you who didn't know, the Prime Minister (Soon to be President) of the fiercest republic in the world got quietly married to the Queen of one of the oldest monarchies in existence. However, public opinion is well in the PM's favour, with the country rapidly falling in love with the esteemed Queen Marina, a lady that has captivated the Social Democracy with her compassion, charisma and all round niceness. If anything the public opinion has only grown in favour of the Prime Minister, with him rapidly gaining some publicity as the unofficial official kinda but not really, king of New-Zealand.

What direction is the Social Democracy heading in, are we giving up our honourable past for a bastardised tomorrow? That is the question asked by many across the nation as the controversial "State Owned Amendment Act" that opens the floodgates for SOE's to claim endless amounts of corporate welfare from the pockets of the many. The results however, are quite impressive indeed. The Social Democracy now boasts one of the worlds highest employment rates, human development index', and average wealth. The country has indeed headed for a brighter tomorrow, but at what expense? Advisors to the PM have apparently voiced their fear that continual employment of the pro-business policies will result in a sharp rise in corruption and general disorder. The Social Democracy has already dropped from the second lowest corruption rate in the world, to the fourth lowest.

The Kingdom of New Tarajan is "extremely concerned" over the decision of Regornia to declare independence from Texania. These are the words used by Minister for Foreign Affairs Jan Van Egeland-Sondenburg, during a press conference held at the Palace of Government today morning: "This could be an hot spot for instability in our continent, which has been always a safe and stable place for all. New Tarajan, together with its partners and allies, has the duty to ensure that there will be no escalation."
For this reason, the Minister announced that "We are ready to call for a mediation and, if necessary, an intervention of the SOWESO, an Organization created exactly with the aim to prevent conflicts in Mnemosyne."
The request to the Organization will be presented very soon, Minister said.
In the meanwhile, New Tarajan "asks to both sides to refrain from any hostile activity. Now it's the time for diplomacy, not for war."

Analysts quiet agree on the fact the Kingdom of New Tarajan is extremely worried by the recent events. This is the first time something similar happens so near New Tarajan (and just under Antanares), and, moreover, the creation of a new communist regime just so near the borders of the Kingdom would be seen by many as a provokation, at least, to the tenure of the stability and order of the Tarajani kingdom.
Also for this reason, the Ministry for the Military ordered the preparation of two fleets, and the Air Force is actually under pre-alert.
