The Newellia Peace Act

In light of Newellia's bloody civil war, the Cheyennian Invasion, and the Newellian-Ravengric War, The United Newellian Federation, at the requests of its citizens and government, propose a Peace Pact to ensure Newellia does engage itself in another war and further destroy itself, which would be detrimental to the furthering of peace in the world. The provisions to be adopted and enforced are as follows:

-Newellia will allow participants of the Ravengric War to keep their troops in Newellia for fifty-five years to ensure that violent or terroristic activities do not occur.

-Newellia will abolish its military in hopes of achieving peaceful solutions to future conflicts that may present themselves to the United Federation

-Newellia will retain a small special forces unit to prevent and combat terrorism in the realm, and to provide minimal protection to its people.

To ensure a peaceful recovery, the Newellian Emperor requests this be passed.

CONSIDERING that this region has a regional military body, the World Alliance Armed Forces (better known as WAAF), legitimized by an explicit regional law,whose task is to prevent international conflicts, to prevent acts of aggression or imperialism unauthorized and ensure the stability and peace in the region.
NOTING that the tensions in Newellia now reached an international level, and are no longer just a local issue.
AFFIRMING that in order to ensure that the foreign troops in Newellia pursue exclusively the interests of its citizens is needed a supranational control and guide.
NOTING that the WAAF has extensive experience in the management of sensitive cases such as these, and that all the missions have always led to the full achievement of objectives.
NOTING that this organization (WAAF) has a relationship of trust and great close partnership with the countries involved (almost all members).

We formulate the following amendment to the law:
Article 1: The WAAF will have the control and management of all the operations of the maintenance of international peace and security in Newellia. 
Article 2: The WAAF will serve as the coordination between the nations involved in such operations. 
Article 3: The WAAF will deploy its own military contingent to ensure a greater presence and increased stability. 
Article 4: Newellia will have the right to apply to the WAAF for reorganization and for the training of its security forces 
Article 5: Newellia will have the option of applying for funding from the WAAF to restructure its security forces.
