Re: (Dismissed) Continentalization Act
I thought the point of the continent naming convention was to give the continents official names? I believe the convention isn't over until all the continents names

But the discussion has no further proposals, besides the law itself could easily be amended any time. Eurussia reiterates the necessity to pass this proposal as it is the first step to a more comprehensive proposal that will involve regional organizations which requires continental divisions and that would be elaborated soon.
Re: (Dismissed) Continentalization Act
We would not like the naming process to be solely in the hands of Eurussia, you already have too much control over the map.Great Eurussia wrote:Section 9)

We also believe that not all nations have participated in the Continental Naming Convention, so until we get more people to try to propose names, we believe the convention is not over.
Therefore we vote AGAINST.

I think it's important to have theese names at least temporary, as Eurussia said, we can change it later when we come up with better names.
I'm in favour.

If this is the only irrelevant concern of the uninformed Patrician Government, we would gladly welcome a more constructive request to amend the resolution rather than unilaterally voting against it just because of a simple irrelevant clause which could be easily amended for the sake of passing the resolution to achieve its overall objective.

Eurussia appreciates the support accorded by the Shiroumian Government and for the understanding the necessity of passing the Continentalization Act which can always be amended later. And to further clarify the urgency of this matter, Eurussia believes that it is the right of the Security Council to know that there are consultations within the WAAF, WAPF, and WASDA to establish neutral zones to serve as bases of operations in each continent for the use of authorized regional organizations of the World Alliance in deploying humanitarian and peacekeeping operations before another tension breaks out.
It is our government's belief that if the (OOC) Naming Convention could not come up with complete relevant names for each continents as soon as possible, it would be necessary to come up with temporary directional names to officially divide the World Alliance politically and geographically for the benefit of the World Alliance itself.

AGAINST
The names are completely and utterly unimaginative. We can do better than this.

Then actively participate in the naming convention rather than complaining.
Re: (Dismissed) Continentalization Act
AGAINST. We shouldn't propose this law until after the convention is officially ended by a worldwide consensus on the names.

If NZ really wants to get involved, NZ will surely find a way but if not, Eurussia expects more excuses :-P
