CONTINENTALIZATION ACT

Section 1)
World Alliance shall be geographically divided based on the provisions hereof.
Section 2)
The Red Zone (Central Continent) shall be known as the OLYMPIA.
Section 3)
The Gray Zone (Northern Continent) shall be known as the OCEANIA.
Section 4)
The Yellow Zone (Southern Continent) shall be known as the POLYNESIA.
Section 5)
The Blue Zone (Northwestern Continent) shall be known as the ATLANTIS.
Section 6)
The Pink Zone (Southwestern Continent) shall be known as the MNEMOSYNE.
Section 7)
The Violet Zone (Northeastern Continent) shall be known as the ASIA.
Section 8)
The Orange Zone (Southeastern Continent) shall be known as the MICRONESIA.
Section 9)
All continents to be discovered in the future shall be informally known according to their geographical location names and be referred to officially by an internationally approved law.

As the Eurussian Government aims to ensure the efficient reference on the geopolitical relations of the World Alliance, and our desire to ensure the efficient deployment of commands and operations for any international undertaking among nations, do hereby propose this law.

Trapatrical objects to the name of the "pink region." This is merely because the name is hard to pronounce and is named after a silly television series. The people of Trapatrical would like to be shown more respect than this. Either the name Mnemosyne is changed, or Trapatrical joins Olympia.

As for Mnemosyne, I believe the nations on that continent came to an agreement on the name in the Continental Naming Event. It is also not hard to pronounce, nem-o-sine.

This was the united consensus among nations actively staying on the Continent during the Naming Convention (the link is available above). And you came right now when it was already on the floor for voting in which I cannot modify it anymore. Although I understand that you just have moved recently in the region, I deeply respect your views.

Also, as the original proponents of the name Mnemosyne for the southwestern continent, we would like to tell our friends from Trapatrical and Atletius that the name was decided upon in honor of the titaness Mnemosyne, mother of the Muses, and titan of memory. It was our intention for each of the nations of Mnemosyne to be symbolized by a Muse, as the nations of the continent are like its daughters. For example, Aloia and Genolia are symbolized by Thalia.

The Commonwealth Realms of the Marquetien States hereby votes in FAVOR of the original bill proposed by Eurussia, but votes AGAINST all proposed amendments, specifically the Mnemosyne amendment.

This has been raised in the election preventing Catham Islands to participate due to him being a subordinate country of Marquette. Yet in Parliament he was alloted a seat. I guess if someone challenges this issue in Court then we could resolve drawing the line in RP & OOC.

If someone would make a court case, we can get that out of the way right now.
