ALOIA FINDS PEACEFUL SOLUTION WITH TALOS

CROWN CITY, Coronado, Genolia == Queen Marina and Chancellor Caroline Davis Rhodes of Aloia signed an agreement with King Louis and Chancellor Christopher Franco of Talos to give Talos more autonomy and have its name officially changed to Talos. Also part of the agreement was an agreement to allow Talos a separate monarchy, led by Queen Marina's son, Louis. The treaty is the resolution of the Talosian Revolution which started when the Senate of Sokolia voted nearly unanimously to secede from the Imperial Union. The treaty was negotiated and signed in Crown City, the capital of Genolia. Aloia hopes that their peaceful solution with Talos can be an example for other nations of the world, to show them that diplomacy will always be the right choice in the end.

Moreover, as first act of the Conference, New Tarajan and Havenburgh signed the Convention for Peaceful Settlement of International Disputes, together with a Statute for the International Arbitration Court, true core of this new project.
"The Arbitration Court will help the peaceful settlement of disputes, avoiding the terrible bloodsheds of the past" stated the Prime Minister, who continued saying that "It is not a substitute body of the World Alliance Court of Justice. It is a completely different thing, with the main goal to prevent, where possible, the conflicts, instead of acting after their escalation. We hope this new institution will help shape the future of our region."

War rages on but close to an end
Early into the morning hours the IRA once again attacked a fort this time beery unexpectedly. Before the Irish Army had time to react the IRA had killed 4000 Irish soldiers and by the end of the battle had killed 1000 more. Another 2000 Irish Soldiers were killed and 15 Fighter Jets loaned to us by Eurussia were shot out of the sky and 10 Bombers also loaned to us by Eurussia were shot out of the sky. Leaving us in a debt with Eurussia. The Emperor will soon find out how much of a debt exactly. With 45,000 Ira soldiers dead Leaving a total death toll of 56,500 in the war. The IRA surrendered but 15,000 refused to surrender. Some of the ones that surrendered were Gerry Adams the leader of the IRA and some other leaders they have been arrested and are awaiting trial. While being interrogated by Irish Police forces he admitted that the IRAs mortal enemy was Her Majesty Empress Elizabeth II. Hearing this new Emperor Higgins locked the borders. Closed down the airports just to make sure an assassination didn't happen. He also said that the IRA bombed Dublin to try and get the Queen here but failed. The alliance with a communist country is one of the most salient events of the Kingdom history since Conrad III. After the fall of the People's Democratic Republic of Tarajan, and the restauration of the monarchy, after a bloody civil war, the Kingdom has always be reknown for its anti-communist policies, both domestically and on the international arena. A change of mind, explained by the perception, by the right-wing parties, of Eurussia has the major threat for the Kingdom right now. Paradoxically, four crisis with a monarchical country lead the Kingdom to finally free itself from an obsolete rigid anti-communism, opening broader new perspectives for the future of the foreign policy of Astana. This way, after the signing of the Pact of Brotherood with Antanares, the Kingdom finds itself allied with the two major military powers of the world.

Secretary of State Marc Pulastra also questioned why the islands of Orenburg are part of Eurussia. The islands are millions of kilometers from Eurussia, and, because of their proximity to the Antarctic Circle, are incapable of actually supporting any kind of resort/tourism industry because of their coldness. The only obvious reason for Eurussian occupation of the islands is to have a base near "troublemakers" like Aloia and New Tarajan. These the words used by Minister for Foreign Affairs, Jan Van Egeland-Sondenburg during a press conference organized in the Palace of Government: "The Imperial Union of Aloia is doing its best to keep peace in this continent and in the world, and we cannot avoid to support it. Its moves and declarations support the position already expressed by New Tarajan, that a so massive deployment of forces in Orenburg by the Eurussian military is simply ridiculous, and can be explained only with the intention to threaten the security of all those States in the continent which oppose themselves to the policies of Moscow."
For all these reasons, he added that "We will participate to the patrols organized by the Aloian Navy under a common framework."
Indeed, the Minister confirmed that the 1st Fleet, already deployed in Orenburg to enforce a symbolic blockade against the island, and now in the Antanaresian territorial waters, has been deployed once again in the Atletian Sea, begining to patrol the waters west of Orenburg, with the support of the two powerful skycarriers.
"Since we are waiting for a response of the Court of Justice" the Minister continued "We will not enforce any blockade. However, we are making this maneuvrers to make Moscow aware of our deep dissatisfaction of what Eurussia is doing in Mnemosyne."
"Also, I must say that the Royal Council is extremely offended by the decision of Eurussia to ignore another message from us, asking for talks between Chancellor Putin and His Majesty the King, in order to create a first ground for future negotiations and the settlement of our disputes. Since Moscow refused to answer us, we are obliged to think that it has hostile intentions against us and our allies, with the right and duty to act accordingly."

Rumors from the Royal Council confirmed the deep disappointment of the government for what it is considered ot be the last refusal from Moscow to try to resolve the disputes between the two countries. An arrogant behavior to which New Tarajan decided to act with strenght.
Moreover, many analysts believe that soon also the Antanaresian Navy will join the patrols, under a framework constituted by the SECURS or, more probably, by the SOWESO.

But the government of New Tarajan finally decided to comment also on the situation in Texania.
"We strongly condemn any attempt, under fabricated justifications, to annex or impose sovereignty over any piace of the territory of the Republic of Texania" said Van Egeland-Sondenburg: "In this sense, we appreciate the interventions of Aloia, but also the decision of our Farshonian ally, and of New-Zealand and Antanares, to avoid such annexation, while we cannot avoid to underline that Eurussia is proceeding with this process, illegally. Why illegally? Because the Texanian government never expressed its intention to divide its own territory. This intention has been expressed by a rebel group, which Moscow unilaterally decided to recognize as successor of the legitimate government in Austinia."
"We invite all interested countries to join an International Summit on Texania, to take place in Merlberg, where all the peace-loving countries could discuss together on the best way to reunify their zones, reconstituting an independent and sovereign Texanian government."

The Atletian Parliament has passed a motion condemning the Tarajani fleet movements in the Atletian Sea and around Orenburg. These moves are seen as aggressive and seem to have been ordered without consideration for the ongoing Court Of Justice case.
According to the Condemning Motion, these actions amount to nothing less than.
"Contempt for Court."

The MoD has also deployed additional naval units into the Atletian Sea, these include the Nuclear Submarine H.M.S Drake and the missile cruiser H.M.S Wyvern. These will join H.M.S Phoenix in the sea for routine Naval Exercises.
The MoD stresses these deployments are routine and have not been brought about by Tarajani Fleet movements.
