ALOIA PRAISES NZ, ANTANARES, FARSHONIA, CONDEMNS EURUSSIA
MEASURE TO REPEAL ALOIA-EURUSSIA TREATY INTRODUCED IN THE HIGH COUNCIL

SAN FRANCISCO, San Francisco, Aloia == Secretary of State Marc Pulastra has released an official statement, praising the governments of New Zealand, Antanares, and Farshonia, for their plans for the sections of Texania allotted to them. The NZ plan to put the territory under the NZC which will maintain their autonomy, while building up Sylvania's economy, was a genius idea, Pulastra said. Pulastra praised Antanaresian and Farshonian plans to establish independent allied republics in their territories. In the same statement, Pulastra delivered scathing remarks on the Eurussian annexation of a section of Texania they've named Columbia, seemingly for the Aloian state of Columbia, in an attempt to smooth relations with Aloia. Pulastra's statements echoed numerous accusations of imperialism against Eurussia from many nations.

On the same day, Councillor Charlotte Henningson introduced legislation before the High Council of the Imperial Union of Aloia and Genolia to repeal the Aloia-Eurussia treaty. Ironically, Henningson represents the state of Columbia, a state who shares a name with the Eurussian duchy which was formed from the Eurussian territory in Texania. The bill faces little formal opposition, although a number of business leaders have suggested that dropping the treaty would hurt the Aloian economy. Top financial experts have announced that Aloian and Eurussian trading is minimal, so it wouldn't really hurt Aloia at all. Either way, however the vote on the treaty goes, it will surely affect Aloian relations with Eurussia, either positively or negatively.

The International Summit on Texania is officially began today, with arrival of all the delegations at the Royal Palace of Merlberg, headquarter of SECURS and seat of the meeting.
The main goal, as stated in the opening speech of Prime Minister Rumaki is "to bring peace and stability to the area" once and for all. Particularly, the Tarajani government has already proposed the creation of a Conferederation, composed by the zones belonging to the States participants: the idea is to keep their full independence while at the same time maintaining the unity of the Texanian people.
Some participants, like New-Zealand, already provided full independence to their zones (in this case, under the New-Zealand Colonies Charter). It is the clear intention of the Tarajani government to make the Summit a way to legitimate and praise these efforts.
Many analysts think the Summit will be extremely brief, since it seems that all the government which joined it are, more or less, on the same positions. Moreover, the Summit demonstrates the will of the International Community to implictly condemn the unilateral annexation of the so-called area of Columbia operated by Eurussia.

When asked about the economic problems Aloia could face in case of break of the treaties existing with Moscow, the Minister replied: "Well...there are always risks to be taken into account. However, not only the Aloian economy is strong, but the market position of Eurussia is greatly overestimated, in my opinion. By the way, if in San Francisco they will have some problems, the Tarajani government would be more than glad to help our friends. But I am more than sure that Aloia will not need any help."

But Astana demonstrated once again its commitment toward peace and stability in the region.
During the same interview, Van Egeland-Sondenburg stated that "the Royal Council is ready to open negotiations with Eurussia to finally settle our disputes. We will always be commited to diplomacy, even when the other side continues to close the doors."
The Minister continued "Also the Court of Justice, in its preliminary verdict, called for the signing of a sort of Peace Treaty, in order to settle our disputes. I can say to Moscow: we are here, we are willing to find a solution. Now, the next move is yours."
Also the Minister confirmed that Joseph Lagota, leader of the Hoverla Movement, is now en route to Velikogovolka in order to hold talks with the Antanaresian authorities, to help establish the future independent government in what actually is the Antanaresian Zone in Texania.

"The requests from Eurussia for an intervention of the WAAF in Farshonia was a subtle attempt to avoid SECURS to help one of its Member States." this is the comment released by Minister for Foreign Affairs, Jan Van Egeland-Sondenburg, during a press conference at the Palace of Government: "As everybody knows, Eurussia actually suffers a period of bad relations, just to use an euphemism, with two key players inside the SECURS, New Tarajan and Aloia, and it is obvious they do not want our forces to be deployed not so far from their borders. Now maybe they will understand the concerns of Astana and San Francisco over Orenburg."
"However" he continued "since Farshonia requested our aid, we are intervening. If the situation will worsen, we will call in the WAAF, as requested by Farshonia itself, but we are quiet confident on a quick resolution of this problem."
When asked to comment on the accusations expressed by the Eurussian delegate at the WAAF Meeting that New Tarajan used obstructionism to block a WAAF intervention, the Minister smiled: "They are becoming ridiculous. In the meanwhile, the hugest task force ever deployed by SECURS is already beginning its deployment in Farshonia.
Organized under a SECURS Joint Command, the mission, codename "Operation Mercury", sees the Federation of Antanares deploying the 3rd Fleet, with the 45th and the 46th Marine Divisions, supported by the 12th Air Squadron; the Imperial Union of Aloia choose to field the 2nd Fleet, including its nuclear-powered carrier, HMS Sundstorm, and the 23rd and 24th Divisions of the Aloian Army, reserving the possibility for further reinforcements; also the Kingdom of Atletius joined the mission, with the deployment of the 1st Fleet alongside the largest carrier of the Kingdom, the HMS Twilight. The most surprising result of the election was the voting out of Defence Secretary Uther Jones by his constituency. He is no longer an MP and is expected to resign later today. He is expected to be replaced by Amelia Montgomerie, the current Under-Secretary of the Foreign Secretary and a rising star in the Liberal Party. A firm internationalist and pro-NATO politician, we can expect greater Atletian involvement in international events in the future.

The Situation in Lonbonia has completely differed from yesterday strategies planned by Akaunuan and Lonbonian generals.

69th and 35th Lonbonian Army Regiments are forced to return to the Lonbonian-controlled territory due to massive casualties, the two army regiments are currently heading to the Northeastern Peninsula, as commanded by CoTM Alexander Morgans since the Northeastern Peninsula is the army's top priority to annex for stronger defense, however, the 91st Freedom Fighter Division, situated in the northeastern peninsula, massively outnumbers the LSAF and the lesser 191st Regiment, but with the 69th and 35th Lonbonian Army regiments, the Lonbonian soldiers may have a chance to survive against the 91st Freedom Fighter Division, ranging from 10,000 to 15,000 Akaunuan soldiers; whilst the LSAF and 191st Regiment, in total, add up to 6,427 soldiers strong.

The Northeastern Peninsula has been also known to contain large amount of weapon caches for suppliment of the Akaunuan Army, as confirmed by Lonbonian Intelligence, which may increase the success of LSAF's strategy to head for small towns that may be found to contain weapon caches and to be used for Lonbonian palms instead of Akaunuan ones, evidence is also included when 87 LSAF soldiers entered a small farming village and discovered a large supply of weapons, explosives, and rockets.

After the recent attempts from the Nazi rebels lead by the Rodriguez family to launch an offensive of 100.000 men against the Farshonian and SECURS forces west of Puerto Viente, the SECURS Joint Command of "Operation Mercury" decided to reply accordingly.
After accurate preparations, a contingent of SECURS special forces, particularly of ASSIS and RHIELD cover teams, supported by the Aloian 2nd Fleet and the Atletian 1st Fleet (the nearest ones to the coasts), have launched a massive operation against the airport of Puerto Viente, new headquarter of the rebels.
For the moment there are no new informations about the developments of the fight, but the huge deployment of forces, the excellent training of the soldiers fielded, the technological superior level of the SECURS forces, all these factors could only lead to a quick defeat of the rebels.
But the operation against the airport is only the most important of many other attacks operated by the SECURS task force against rebel outpost all over the area, through amphibious and airborne assaults supported by the infantry divisions (mainly of the Royal Tarajan Army). The goal of these operations is to put pressure on the enemy, destroying their Command&Control infrastructures, thus making easier for the allied forces to locate and destroy the demoralized and isolated rebel troops.

Also, the SECURS forces fielded in the city began the evacuation of the civilians possibly present on the line of fire.
It has been a primary goal of the SECURS forces, since the beginning of the intervention, to minimize as much as possible the numer of civilian casualties and, until now, it has been terribly succesfull on this side.

We are transmitting the official speech delivered by His Majesty the King in front of the plenary session of the Landsraad and the Royal Diet in Palace Van Geldern:

"Ladies and gentlemen, honourable representatives of the Diet, nobles of all Tarajan, my beloved citizens and comrades,
As many of you already know, few hours ago, the Court of Justice of the World Alliance issued its final verdict in the long trial between us and Eurussia. The Kingdom of New Tarajan has been found guilty of the blockade, and now we will pay heavy reparations for this. What can I say in front of you, right now? Well, first of all, as we also stated in front of the Court, yes, we are guilty. I am guilty! I take on me, as Head of State and King, the full responsibility for our mistake. Because it was a mistake, to proceed with the blockade of Orenburg. A mistake caused by  a threat against our national security, by  a trick from Moscow. Neverthless, it was a mistake. And we will pay for it.
But let me say that we were not the only one to commit a mistake: first of all, the Court. With all the respect we have toward such an important institution, the Court of Justice did not take into account our defense, did not take into account our evidences, and it violated two fundamental juridical principles. They recognized the intentions of Eurussia to vilify us, and our glorious Navy, with the trick of a submarine accident, but they did not condemn Eurussia to pay!
And then the main responsible of all this stuff: Eurussia. Months, years of insults, provocations, refusals to negotiate, and, not least, threats against our own security. They committed many mistakes.
However, let us ask this to all of you, to the entire International Community: is Eurussia paying? Is Eurussia paying for the thousands of innocent civilians dead in Austinia? Is it paying for the illegal annexations? For the insults against Aloia? Against us?
Of course not. They claim to be a superpower, but the reality is....that they are cowards!
They have not the courage to recognize their mistakes. Well, we have this courage.
To the people of New Tarajan I ask only this: if do you want to blame someone, than, blame me, as your King. Do not blame innocent civilians, do not protest, do not let the barbaric istincts to take advantage on you. Sons of Tarajan, show to the world the true heart of this Nation!
To Eurussia, I can say this: be prepared.
And this is not a threat, because we do not like threats: maybe you like them, but we don't.
However, be sure that no doors will be open, anymore. No hands will be given anymore.
And I swear, that any further threat to our security, this time will see a more than appropriate answer. The time of games is finished. The time of tricks, the time of provocations, is at the end.
Now, Eurussia, look over us: look at how a Kingdom, even seeing the violations of important juridical principles, but recognizing its mistakes, accept to pay for them; look at how a real Great Power behaves!"



At the end, the speech of His Majesty has been welcomed by a long applause by the entire auditorium. A respectful applause, with no cries, no shouting. A demonstration of solidarity from the entire political world.
But what is most impressive, is how the population as a whole welcomed the speech and the news of the condemnation of New Tarajan.
Thousands of people gathered in front of the Royal Palace of Astana, to testify their solidarity with the King. Common slogans are "Friederick Wilhelm: Champion of the Motherland" and "One country, one heart".
Suddenly, an incredible mobilitation is crossing the Kingdom, with the aim to help the government collecting the fine of 125 billions to be paid.
After the King said that the Royal House Van Vinkel will mortgage many properties in order to contribute to the payment, the entire Kingdom decided to not let its sovereign alone.
"We are Tarajan" said with a smile Marcus Leen, spokesperson of the Royal Tarajan Conservative Party: "Everybody is Tarajan. For this reasons, we will pay all together! The RCTP will ask to all its members to contribute."
And they were only the first: the Blue Party and the TSDP announced the same thing, in a joint press conference.
Prince Maximilian Van Sondenburg, Lord President of the Landsraad, confirmed one hour after that "all the Houses of the Kingdom accepted to contribute mortgaging some of their properties. For the sake of our beloved Motherland, we will not let our King alone!"
Also the financial groups of the Kingdom, the most important in the worlds, decided to intervene: the International Business Group proclaimed it will cooperate with the government and the Royal International Bank, one of the most important banking institutes of the world, announced its intention to take the mortgaged properties of the Royal House under its guarantee.
Also Helodine Energy announced that it will contribute, giving one billion Prands to the government.
The governments of Sdudeti-Karabak and North Ajania confirmed their contributions too.
The common citizens have no intention to stay behind: hundreds of thousands have already reached the local offices of the Ministry of Economy, offering to contribute in every way possible: giving back their salaries, mortgagins their homes, or donating their valuables.
The Ministry of Economy calculated already that, thanks to this mobilitation, not only the fine will be delivered in one week at maximum, but that it will not hurt any branch of the government.
Manifestations have been organized throughout the Kingdom, and also abroad, in many Tarajani communities. But the invitation of the King to the calm has been received: no violent protests, even no slogans against Moscow. The Tarajani people is giving to the world one of the most impressive examples of civilization in human history.

Moreover, the consequences on the political side seem to be incredible.
Prime Minister Esther Farah Rumaki presented her dimissions to the King soon after the news about the verdict reached Astana, but King Friederick rejected them.
Now, the RTCP, the Blue Party and the TSDP announced their "complete and full support to Prime Minister Rumaki and her government" for every further step they will take.
For the first time, the three Parties of the Diet decided to work together, cooperatively, in every field, in order to strenghten the tenure of the government.
Minister for Foreign Affairs, Jan Van Egeland-Sondenburg, commented: "This condemnation succeeded in an impossible task: to unite the entire Kingdom under one flag, under one slogan. Thank you, Eurussia" he said, almsot smiling.
"New Tarajan is more ready than ever to launch its challenge" he continued: "The Royal Council is already going to put Eurussia in front of the CoJ with the charge of diffamatio against the Kingdom and its Navy, if they will not provide for public apologies. Other measures will be taken if needed. They believed to have destroyed our credibility. I fear, for their sake, that they have done exactly the opposite thing."
Almost every international analyst confirms that the foreign policy of New Tarajan toward Eurussia will change drastically after this event. And the King expressed well this change in his speech. New Tarajan will cease any attempt to negotiate with the "Eurussian oppressor", as many citizens now call it. Under a surprisingly renewed and strenghtened national unity, the Kingdom will oppose Eurussia with all its forces.
And a demonstration of this commitment comes directly from the core of the crisis, the Atletian Sea: the Royal Tarajan Navy dispatched more units in the joint patrols with Aloia and Antanares, particularly the flagship, the T.N.S. Conrad III, a Perun-class battleship, pride of the Kingdom. And many rumors from the Ministry of the Military seem to announce that the Royal Council will soon take "further measure to guarantee the complete safety of New Tarajan against the Eurussian threat", while presenting again a motion to the SOWESO for a temporary suspension of Moscow from the Organization.
Hard times will come for Eurussia.

Emperor Higgins commends Eurussia
Earlier today with the news of the World Alliance Court of Justice Verdict. Emperor Higgins commended Eurussia for avoiding a conflict with New Tarajan. The Emperor also agrees with the verdict.


Northern Ireland officially put back in the Union.
On a vote in Parliament Northern Ireland was joined back together with Ireland. They will have 15 Members in Parliament election taking place next year. Though we are still repairing it they have been joined back with us. Reports say it will take almost 2 years to completely repair the damages. The total cost will be a whopping 500 Billion Euros. The budget Parliament set aside is only 350 Billion Euros. Thankfully Eurussia has agreed to help us with rebuilding Northern Ireland though the Emperor refuses to let them pay the rest. He will go in front of Parliament tomorrow and ask for it to be raised to 425 Billion he says if that doesn't work he will over power Parliament and raise the budget to 460 Billion instead of 425 Billion.

Ireland threatens Akauni
Do to the recent claims that Akauni has found Eurussian ships and has threatened to sink them. Emperor Higgins has taken it as a military and terroristic threat. And says if they do sink the ships Ireland will declare war on Akaunj to protect the rest of Eurussia.

And do to the causes of this the President of Akauni has been categorized as a terroristic threat to the peace of society.

ALOIANS FLOOD THE STREETS IN SUPPORT OF NEW TARAJAN, GOV'T REMAINS SILENT


Aloians in Port Royale declaring their support for New Tarajan through the best way they know how -- by flooding the streets with a massive street parade.

PORT ROYALE, Victoria, Aloia == Aloians of all castes have flooded streets all over the country, in support of Aloia's close ally, New Tarajan, in the wake of the Court of Justice case. Parades and street dances have sprung up all over the country, from huge cities like Queen Anne Island and San Francisco to smaller cities like St. Helens and Ottawa. Unlike Tarajani celebrators, many Aloians have created anti-Eurussian slogans and put them on signs. Some protesters even accused Eurussia of being "childish" and "immature."

The Aloian news media has slammed Eurussian claims of being a superpower. They pointed out that Eurussia's position as the largest country and being home to many offices of the World Alliance government are its only claims to fame. They also said that Eurussia's behavior is entirely unbecoming of a "superpower."

The Aloian government has not released any statements, but it should be noted that the measure to cancel the Aloia-Eurussia treaty failed in the High Council, losing by only one vote. The Aloia-Eurussia treaty will stand.

ALOIA ENTERS LONBONIAN CIVIL WAR ON LONBONIAN GOV'T'S SIDE

SAN FRANCISCO, San Francisco, Aloia == The Aloian Department of War has announced plans to launch a full-scale invasion of Lonbonia to defeat the Akauni rebels and support the Lonbonian government. Aloia and Lonbonia have had historical relations, including the marriage of Queen Marina's sister, Clarisse to the former king of Lonbonia, Joseph. This means that the Aloian government is highly dedicated to maintaining the status quo of a constitutional monarchy in Lonbonia.

The Aloian forces will join with Eurussian forces already in the area to try to cooperate on operations on the high seas and try to get Eurussian support for a full land invasion to support Lonbonia. Aloian forces hope for increased cooperation with Eurussia on international military affairs, to prevent an Orenburg Incident, version II.
