Re: (WADSP) World Alliance Democratic Socialist Party
I think this is something you should direct to the CSSN.New Paristan wrote:A telegram arrives in the inbox of the WADSP. It reads:
"Comrades, we represent an unofficial faction of what New Paristan once was. We Free Workers want nothing more than to see our beloved nation returned to its glory days as a worker-run democratic commonwealth. We cannot join your political party in any official capacity; we have no official standing in New Paristan as the "caretaker government" has banned all "unapproved" political organizing - that is, "unapproved" by Valjean and his capitalist cronies. They'll claim that it's to keep out the Bolsheviks; well, those Leninist bastards are about as popular as a bag of weasels, so there's no risk there.
So we can't identify ourselves, and we can't join officially, but we're writing you to let you know about the situation in New Paristan - the elections are a sham, completely rigged, and no parties unfriendly to the capitalist agenda of Valjean and his cronies will be allowed to participate. The new constitution has already been written: it destroys the power of Paristani labor to self-organize, it declares corporations immune to the law, slashes "labor value" wage rules, and turns our country into a corporatist hellhole.
We need your help, comrades. We've had enough war, so we won't ask for that. But international political pressure could come in very handy. Demand the elections be free and open. Demand international observers. If Paristanis can freely vote, the Free Workers are convinced they'll choose a path of cooperation and democracy. It may not look like the anarcho-communist utopia we once had, but it'll be pretty close, we reckon.
If we pull off a clean election, and the results are favorable to the Free Workers, then New Paristan will once again open for trade and economic cooperation with like-minded countries."

Party Caucus
Eurussia requests the leadership of the party to call for a party caucus to discuss our plans and initiatives on upcoming general elections of the World Alliance.
Re: (WADSP) World Alliance Democratic Socialist Party
Alright guys, we all know understand the selection process for parliament members from the caucus list right? I don't want anyone to get some nasty surprises.

Re: (WADSP) World Alliance Democratic Socialist Party
The WADSP has gained 6 seats in the WA Parliament. If you have more seats than people, you may give the seats to other parties or independents.
Re: (WADSP) World Alliance Democratic Socialist Party
I'm sorry fellow party members. As leader of the party I have failed you. We have lost to both the WARP and IGP. It was my duty to lead the party to victory, and due to my inactivity (I was studying for CIE exams) we have lost the election. However, there is always next time. Though, I am officially calling another party vote for caucus reshuffle in a few weeks time. Until then, let us band together in parliament, and hopefully swing voters back to us, not with speeches or campaigns, but our actions as a shadow government. For next time, we will win.

Re: (WADSP) World Alliance Democratic Socialist Party
I've identified where we went wrong guys. Majority of the socialist nations didn't even vote. As far as I can work out, if in the next election I can call in support from atleast half of my allies/friends who didn't vote, we can easily form government. In the WA as it is, the vast majority of nations are communists or democracies, and atleast 80% of left leaning. If we can just extend our campaign we can do alot better.

The Leadership of each Party is expected to comply with the given instructions immediately with the submission of their Caucus Lists. And to guide you further, once the Parliament is finally in session, the Parliament must choose (elect) its Speaker (among MP) which will then guide the Parliament in electing the 7 member WA Council (among MP also) that will serve as the executive organ of the region whose term is based on confidence of the Parliament.

Re: (WADSP) World Alliance Democratic Socialist Party
Guys, I would be very happy if you did manage to make me go to the Council.
I have been in office for almost all legislatures, and I worked very hard for this region, creating large, efficient organizations such as the WAAF, which has improved stability.
How many wars have been averted, the crisis have been resolved thanks to this organization?
Or think of the WAHO, organization time to humanitarian assistance.
We have avoided several humanitarian crises (as in Aloia) and many famines (as in Korya), we have reconstructed entire nations affected by wars and disasters.
All efficient organization, who are doing excellent work.
In addition, the World Alliance Custom Union, which is preparing to become the largest economic organization of the region, is one of my creatures.
And I still have a lot to do to make this great region a better place, in the name of peace, in the name of humanitarianism, in the name of the people, and in the name of socialism.
Thanks to all who support me, I will not betray your trust.

Re: (WADSP) World Alliance Democratic Socialist Party
Guys just informing you that I've updated our main page a bit. Have a look, I've split up the party caucus into two categories, It'll all come into effect after we have the party internal election.
Also, considering E&A is running for Court of Justice, I have decided to appoint Havenburgh as my deputy leader. I know he is new to our party, but I have spoken with him and believe him to be just the man our party needs.

Re: (WADSP) World Alliance Democratic Socialist Party
Actually, I am now Chief Justice. In this capacity, should I step down from my position as co leader and enter an advisory capacity?New-Zealand wrote:Guys just informing you that I've updated our main page a bit.
