Third WA Council Vacancy Act

Proposed by Kaevi, Speaker of Parliament, Member of the Communist Party.

The Third WA Council has been left with two vacancies that must be filled by act of Parliament. This action derives from the interpretation by the Court of Justice named “Article VI Interpretation”.

The Speaker shall now open the elections to fill the two vacancies in order to return the Third WA Council to full attendance. Only remaining Parliament members who do not hold any other seat in the World Alliance government may run for election to the Council.

Parliament members who are eligible: New Zealand, Europa, Talanzaar, Novo Canuckia, Zackalantis, Yellasia, Husqvarnia, and Texania.

Any nation interested in taking a seat must declare a self-nomination and await the final vote. Upon voting, Parliament members may submit a ballot consisting of a maximum of two nations. The two nations who receive the most votes shall be deemed the members of the Third WA Council.

New Zealand , Zackalantis , Yellasia

(Passed) Third WA Council Vacancy Act Empty Official Debate & Info

The first official debate term has begun, with an expiration at 00:00 GMT on June 27, 2014. Votes cast during a debate term will not be counted. The voting period will begin at 00:00 GMT on June 27, 2014 and will end on July 1, 2014, at 00:00 GMT.

Six vacant seats currently exist in the Parliament, so seven votes are now required to reach the minimum number of required votes for passage.

A debate term may be renewed twice by one of two options: three parliament member requests along with approval from the Speaker or seven parliament member requests with approval from the President.

During a debate term, all eligible Parliament members are encouraged to voice their desire to take a vacant Council seat. Once the voting session begins, the Parliament shall vote for two existing Parliament members to take a seat.

The first debate term has expired and the voting period shall now begin. Parliament members may submit a ballot consisting of a maximum of two nations.
