(Passed) WA Land Bidding Act
WA LAND BIDDING ACT
Authored by the Empire of Great Eurussia
This is a purely out-of-character proposal.
Section 1. If a nation was ejected or banjected from the region and it possesses a territorial land on the WA Map, its lands shall remain under its name for one (1) day unless another nation in the WA submits a request to the Security Council to claim the concerned land, its entirety or any portion thereof, to become part of its territories.
Section 2. Otherwise, the concerned lands shall become empty lands again on the WA Map which shall be open for new claims from other nation states of the WA.
Section 3. However, if a nation successfully lays claim on the vacated lands of the ejected or banjected nation within the one (1) day prescription period from the time the original owner nation of the land was kicked out of the region, the Security Council shall then open the vacated lands for competitive bidding.
Section 4. Thereafter, all interested nations wishing to claim the vacated lands or any part thereof, may then submit their claims before the Security Council. ALL BIDDERS (bidding nations) are REQUIRED to include in their claims the roleplay story on how the concerned lands and their original inhabitants will become part of the roleplay of the bidding nation from the roleplay story of the former owner nation.
Section 5. Thereafter, the Security Council shall then vote which among the bidding nations have the best roleplay story that make them deserving to possess the vacated lands or any portion thereof. On the other hand, if no nation joins the land bidding, the Security Council shall simply evaluate the roleplay story of the original bidding nation and vote if its roleplay story makes it deserving to possess the vacated lands of the ejected or banjected.
Section 6. It is not prohibited to have more than one nation involved in a single claim.Section 7. The Security Council, and the Map Admin, deserves the right to adjust any claim on any vacated land in accordance to this Act and other existing rules and regulations of the World Alliance to ensure an equitable share and reasonable claim of lands on the WA Map.
NOTICE: A three (3) day debate and amendmend period is hereby served. A two (2) day voting period shall thereafter follow.

Xolox is for this proposal! I was actually contemplating doing something similar to this a while ago!
edit: It should also be possible to split lands, though.

Yeah thanks for that. It is possible for more than one nation to have a joint claim, since it is not prohibited. But it is best for us to include it as one of the provisions of the proposal.

Atlantica, will you please refrain from voting on these? You are not on the Security Council and it is confusing when you act like you are.

The only way I forsee this getting out of hand, is if many nations get ejected/banished. Other than that, I don't really understand how it would "get out of hand".
