First Anti-Terror Conference



The First Anti-Terror Conference will be held in Atlatica's capital of Atlantica in the Citadel government hall. We shall be discussing Terrorism, and Piracy. The idea was formed after the Death of the old leader and father to the current leader, even if he was a power mad and insane dictator, terrorism should be dealt with. While the conference is only a meeting to share ideas on how nations can stop terrorism. Later plans may include an international anti-terrorism group, as for now it is just a place for discussions on how nations can minimise the risks of terrorism. All nations are welcome.

OOC: I shall wait a day to see if more people join, if not I will begin the meeting.

"Right Ladies and Gentlemen. Welcome to the Citadel. Now as you all know terrorism is unacceptable, no matter who was killed nor the motives. My father, the insane ruler of this nation was killed in a bombing of his personal office. I am now half blind as the result of the attack, but I shall not let this go unpunished.

Mr Hammond raised a good point terrorism interrupts the very lives of the people. We all want a free world, a warless world. A world where our children and grandchildren do not have to live in fear of some armed mad man, who wishes to destroy people because he does not agree on one thing. As Mr Hammond pointed out that, 'in 50 years it will be an even larger problem.' And that ladies and gentlemen is a world we do not even wish to see dawn."

Secretary of State speaks up, I agree. We can declare a global war on terrorism!

Following the CAB Bombing and the attempt on President Bush's life recently, the United States of Scouting has decided to attend the Anti-Terror Conference. We're requesting Security Clearance into the building.

"Now Ladies and Gentlemen. It has come to my attention that Russia was hit by a terrorist attack. This is a war crime. A attack on those who do not deserve such things. Something has to be done no? We cannot sit waiting for them to walk into our countries, if we do we are sitting on a time bomb. A time bomb we do not know is there until it goes off. We also have no way of dealing with terrorists internationally. So I present the idea forward of a international Anti-Terrorism force. Is there any objections?"

"It is an organization consisted of specialists from each member nation who are called into a nation to deal with terrorist threats, they are neutral in world politics and will not get involved in wars, they are for the purpose of protecting the population of nations against terrorist groups. Even if that terrorist comes from international waters, say a Eurussian terrorist was working in the Untied states of scouting and he was killed in combat against the group, the nation that called them in cannot be charged with attacking a foreigner as the foreigner was a terrorist. If they captured the terrorist they would be sent back to the nation of birth to be dealt with. Is there any objections?"

"With the founding of the Anti-Terrorist Organization I would like to call this conference to a close unless any nation has anything they wish to say about issues that will concern the ATO, Thank you for your time Ladies and Gentlemen." Altantica sat down awaiting any questions or debates.
