The Danaster Conference

OOC: Get ready for some rip-snortin', good ol' fashioned RP! It's encouraged to send some higher ups rather then "National Department of Health Lead Director" or something. Like I said, this is as formal and public as it gets, so send whoever you deem fit for the role.

P.S: It's Valentine's day the week after this, so just try and guess what I'm planning as a side story here

The United Kingdoms of Apepistan would like to send General Lord Timur Benko to the conference.

Prime Minister Gunye is coming

The Emperor himself will attend however I ask that New Korrea be barred from participating in this conference as they will do nothing but complain and whine that new korrea is being treated unfairly. If they are not barred, the Empire will still go to the conference and that there will be tension between those Korreans and the Emperor

Emperor Urin Inglis himself requests authorization to attend this meeting.

I'd like to once again emphasize that this conference will be strictly formal; issues outside of the development in Danaster will not be allowed and work better when discussed in their own context.

The sun barely shone down on New Ostia through a maze of soft clouds; it was a usual-feeling day for most of the city's inhabitants, but today was something different. New Rhodinian citizens dotted the wide open, concrete space of the Maximus Forum with nothing louder then low murmurs, but kept a considerable space open in the center for the Conference attendees. The wind graced its way through the center and carried small green leaves across the forum, and a drizzle of rain kept the ground cool and comfortable. Two limos pulled up alongside the northern edge of the forum and two guards respectively emerged and rounded the vehicle to man the doors. Out stepped Junius Maximus and his wife Cornelia from the leading limo, but before the other guard could touch the door of his limo, Livia opened it herself and almost hopped out, practically shaking with enthusiasm. She looked over to the royal couple and let out a hand letting them proceed first.

As the Maximus family moved to the center of the forum, the two guards behind followed with sets of chairs, easily collapsible and portable for uses such as this. They set them up in a circular pattern as the Maximus family engaged in small talk with some bystanders. Livia let her eyes scan the massive space around her, only giving small portions of time to actually respond to greetings from passersby.

As the conference seats were finally set up, the family took their seats: Junius in the middle and the women flanking him. Time seemed to stand still in the Maximus Forum as the family waited for the attendees to arrive.

"I still think this is a bad idea." Cornelia turned to Junius. "Weaponizing something we don't know anything about yet, much less selling it off all willy-nilly?"

"It's a question the World Alliance needs to ask itself and a question we've already taken time out to try and answer. I want them to decide on what the best course of action is for this technology."

Livia leaned forward and looked to the both of them. "And what about New Rhodinia? We're not gonna get a chance to check it out? Sooner or later, this'll be in the hands of everyday citizens; what'll happen to them?"

Junius assumed a business-like stance in his seat and looked on with determined eyes. "That's what this conference is for. I just hope the other nations will be wise enough to think about it more then they have with other issues."

Livia scoffed and slumped back into her chair, crossing her legs and stretching them in preparation. "I hope you're right."

A limousine follows the two leading limousine. Inside of it is the Lonbonian King, Leon XI. He adjusts his glasses as he looked around his surroundings from the window. He admired the New Rhodinian architectural style of their buildings, and it's names. As the two limos pull to a stop, so does the Lonbonian limousine, as the driver hops out of the vehicle and proceeds to open the door for the monarch. King Leon XI delayed for a moment before he got out, looking down onto the ground as he began walking towards the centre of the forum, clearing his throat as he looks up at the awaiting New Rhodinian royal couple. With an elderly smile, he stopped, looking around the area.

Ebsotzian Emperor Nekolai Zadravic will be attending the meeting.

At New Ostia, Nekolai walks out of his limousine. He has his cloak on, because after what has occurred on Royal Revolution Day. 8 Guards protect him, as he is a massive target to an infamous terrorist group in Ebsotz. Yet, also, he is glad to see his new ally Lonbonia there. Also, he admires the Roman culture of this nation, which, also, in a way, formed his empire. He meets King Leon XI and Junius Maximus and whispers,

"Lets get started. I haven't been feeling up-to-coe lately, so I suppose we will begin now."

Livia salutes casually to the new arrivals and turns to the Ebsotzan Emperor.

"It'd probably be best if we waited for the rest of the attendees to show up, you know? Wouldn't want them to come by just as the deal is sealed."

Junius gives a reassuring nod to Livia's welcoming and replies with his own.

"Well said. But please, take a seat. I know it's a bit odd to not be talking in more private circumstances..."

"Or without a table." Livia adds blatantly, peeking at the large emptiness in between the ring of chairs.

"...but it is our tradition to be as open as we can with matters that affect the people. And since this conference has not officially started yet, I suppose we can talk about any other news regarding our nations."

The crown princess, Marilyn Targaryen apologizes for the delay and enters the conference.

The King clears his throat and opens his mouth. "I would first like to state that it is a honor for me to be standing here in this nation. And I hope that Lonbonian and Rhodinian relationships are in place after this conference..." He said in a deep, slightly raspy voice.

He was escorted by his aides upon arrival and entered the hall seeing the familiar faces in international politics. And upon seeing the head of state of New Rhodinia, he said,

"Your Majesty, it is an honour to meet you again. I am the Ambassador of the Eurussian Empire to New Rhodinia. It is my pleasure to represent the Eurussian Government on this summit. I am also glad to see you in good health."

Junius turned to the Eurussian ambassador and bowed his head respectfully.

"It has been quite some time. Hopefully this meeting won't end with some sort of tragedy."

"That remains open for development." Livia responded. "Even though we told people that this conference wouldn't be off-topic, I'm willing to bet that someone will throw the discussion off the rails."

"Greetings, your Imperial Majesties, your Highnesses, your Excellencies. I'm sure we've all read the telegrams and news, but could we get an elaboration what are we looking at precisely? This "alien technology", I mean, is quite the news.

The Eurussian Ambassador responds to Consul Junius,

Emperor Urin Inglis walks into the room followed by three men in black suits.

Urin Speaks "I'm sorry that I was late, It's just that with the coronation of the new leader coming up, I have had to make arrangements for my departure of the throne. I would like to know if there are any plans on unveiling this supposed technology."  

Secretary of Defense Dominic Espion Walks in and sits next to the emperor

Dominc speaks "What a wonderful treat to be sitting amongst these many great leaders. Regarding your findings, are there any plans on reverse engineering this technology?"

One of the black suited individuals pipes up "You all realize that anything discussed in this room is not to be disclosed elsewhere, no public awareness at all regarding this topic. Anyone deviating from this could.......disappear."

Nekolai says,

"Agreed. In fact, I am starting to feel like my old self again...my MOFA is in Lonbonia now, so the government is getting sprawled all over the place."
