Re: (Dismissed) International Disputes Tribunal
The Proposal is up for discussion for a total of 5 (five) days.
Re: (Dismissed) International Disputes Tribunal
Corralejo thinks this will restrict the freedom states will have to discuss and resolve disputes themselves. We would not like to be forced to solve our disputes through an IDT when we can solve our problems ourselves. We do see the added value of such a tribunal but only on a voluntarily basis. Also, we doubt the independency of the tribunal (Article 4). We would rather see a different selection method when it comes to appointing judges, for example one judge from each nation taking part in the tribunal. In its current form, Corralejo does not support this proposal.

Many laws in the region are restricting freedom of nations. But who doesn't want a law that is good for all? If you have problem with selection of judge, what is your proposal?

Eurussia commends the objective of the proposal but we oppose the principles of its execution. We believe that the proposal blatantly violates and disregards the sovereignty of every single nation in the world.
Re: (Dismissed) International Disputes Tribunal
This is the law that is fair for all. Yes this could force nation to resolve dispute but for peace in the region this is advisable.

The Sectarian Government seconds The Corralejo's Government. The ability given to the President to choose a "fair and unbiased" judge will be more of just being which the President's choice share the same ideals with him, to use the use of alliances and recent Political Parties formations as a example to back my statement. Wouldn't it be better if The Founder, would choose the three judges, due to his long reputation as being a neutral power in recent and past history?

OOC: final count of the votes will be 4:00 PM EST
The author failed to compromise and/or convinced the elected seats, including The Sectarian Government, into understanding the purpose of their proposal, even provoking an elected seat who wanted to know a better explaination of a certain section of the proposal. But beyond that, Trinity Sector abstains.
