Yellasian growth forecast lowered


As a result of the Dromodian economic crisis, the Ministry of Finance has announced that Yellasia's growth forecast for this quarter has dropped from 1.0% to 0.4%, teetering on the edge of recession. Yellasia and Dromoda have a free-trade agreement, which both have benefited from. The Vinatta Union's relative health and Yellasia's recent reforms are expected to keep the Yellasian economy afloat. The United Kingdom of Greater Yellasia has the second-largest active economy (NS tracker data) in the WA, so a Yellasian recession would have dire consequences on the rest of the world and would create a crisis within the Vinatta Union.

This, however, has received scepticism from several economists and think-tanks who view the Ministry of Finance as being too optimistic.

On a lighter note, Yellasia has commended Dromoda's efforts in increasing the civil liberties enjoyed by its citizens.

So what does this all mean?

Dromoda, the world's most populous nation, may spire into instability. This is the worst economic disaster in Dromodian history. Not only will buying power decrease, effecting the world economy, but poverty, unemployment, and crime may more than double. Dromoda's economy will face enormous difficulty in re-establishing the economic power that defined most of its modern history.

If this does cause Yellasia to spiral into recession, the domino effect will send the world into economic depression. Dromoda's closest trading partners are sure to see a negative impact. Further escalation will decrease international living standards and potentially lead to widespread political changes.

That coupled with the parallel private economy makes the NZ Economy one of the most stable in the WA.

The Organization already counts between its members historical partners of New Tarajan, like Antanares, Shirouma and Holy Patrician States, alongside Eurussia. The first meeting of the Council of SOWESO will be held in Tarajan City in the next days.

Today, in the morning, Prince Andre of Aloia and Holy Patrician States landed at the Conrad IV International Airport of Tarajan City, for a three-days official State visit in the Kingdom, welcomed by Prime Minister Esther Farah Rumaki and prominent members of the Landsraad.
Two hours after, New-Zealand Prime Minister Jacob Williams arrived in Tarajan City as well.
The main goal of the two State visits is the same: to strenghten the ties between New Tarajan on one side, and HPS and New-Zealand on the other, particularly after the delicate situation created in HPS by the Luthenian Revolution.

Prince Andre and the King discussed about the stipulation of a new Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation, an addition to the alliance existing under the SECURS Treaty, which will demonstrate once again the excellent level of the relations between the two countries.

Prime Minister Jacob Williams also held bilateral talks personally with the King and Prime Minister Rumaki soon after his landing in the Kingdom.

The SHDKZ are a rebel group who are trying to make Northern Snarfia or South Zagoria an independent country with an communist goverment they say Snarfia is opressing them and does not protect the rights of the people

The quiet life of a small town in the north-east of Snafia was rudely shaken by a huge detonation, in the middle of a sunny and relaxing afternoon.
A town never hit by terrorist attacks, despite the presence of a military airport, where some european air squadrons stationed, fstrategic fort its proximity to Georgia.
