Vinatta Union Parliament

This will be the centre of debate among Vinatta Union member states. Debate on laws, budgets, etc, will be held here. The thread in in the organisations section shall be primarily used for general Vinatta Union related discussion rather than formal matters..

The Marquetien representative to the Vinatta Union, Tristão Magalhães (Tristin Magellan) stands up before the session in the City of Yell.  

"To start the session of our wonderful Vinatta Union in the great City of Yell, here in the Kingdom of Yellasia, the delegation of Marquette would like to present its proposal before the long debate on the budget and other matters begins.

"In order to promote and preserve good relations between our nations, and in light of our nations coincidentally happening to be unanimously royalist nations who promote the arts, the delegation of the Constitutional Monarchy of Marquette of Pacific hereby proposes an official Vinatta Union Orchestra, based in Fuertaventura, Marquette. The sole purpose of the orchestra will be to perform in member states throughout the Autumn, Winter, and Spring to help increase interest in the arts, specifically music, as well as to preserve relations between Vinatta Union member states, and finally to increase high esteem for our Union by non-member states.

OOC: For clarification, voting and debating will actually take place in here, not the main thread, which will exist for general discussion. Also, while technically this is a formal Parliament and Yellasian MPs could vote differently, for simplicity's sake we will just follow a one nation, one vote approach to yes/no issues.
