(Rejected) Ballistics EMP Weapons Ban Act
Ballistics EMP Weapons Ban Act
Authored by the United States of EuropePreamble
Until now we have banned chemical, biological , and we managed in the enterprise to ban all nuclear tests .
Recently, however, the nation of Farshonia threatened to obstruct the course of military operations in Articmainia and Japan.
Simply deploying two ballistic missiles with EMP warheads , explicitly threatening to strike military objectives of the WAAF and allied nations , as well as civilian targets .
Only pressure from Europe and other nations have allowed to block and neutralize these threats.
But , let us reflect , if this nation had been bigger and more powerful , things would have ended very differently .
Military operations would surely have failed.
And the best part is that it's all perfectly legal , as there is no regional legislation that would prevent the use of these types of weapons under any circumstances .
For this, we want to prohibit the use and development of these weapons, which can be so destructive as the nuclear weapons.
In particular, this legislation is directed against EMP weapons that can cause large-scale damage.

Marquette choses to respectfully ABSTAIN from the vote. We do not support the usage of ballistic missiles from rogue nations who do not know how to use them, however Marquette will continue to use missiles aimed at military targets if we are at war in the future.
