Alliance Party Scandal and Royalist split

The Alliance political party has been shut down by order of the Senate after recent evidence shows they have been funding terrorist cells across the nation. The Alliance party had for many months been funding such terror cells like the "Blitzing Freedom Front" and the infamous "Masked Servants" who are a pro-anti-democracy movement whom, demand a return to the old reign. The Head of the Alliance Party will be sentenced to death by hanging.

The Royalist Atlantican Party has made a most recent split into two different parties. The new "Atalantican Senate party" wants to give the senate full control over the nation, very much like the Roman Senate of old. The remaining part is the reminisce of the Royalist Atlantican Party who shall carry on their work.

Party Split Causes Elections

After months of tension between members of the United Russia Party the party has officially split into two factions. The radical New Russian Right and the lean-right Russian Peoples Party. Enda Kenny belonging to the Russian Peoples Party.

Before the split the United Russia Party commanded 62.83% of seats or 421 seats. But now the Russian Peoples Party controls 222 seats or 32.13% of seats and the New Russian Right controls 199 seats or 29.7% of seats. Meaning that party controls the majority. While the Russian Peoples Party still holds the largest number of seats they do not have a majority. And with both parties refusing to form a coalition that leaves Chancellor Enda Kenny in a position to be easily removed from office.

This has caused a Political Conundrum. With no party holding a majority and no party forming a coalition to make up a majority. Emperor Charles I notified the Royal Elections Commission that elections would happen on March 31st. Giving each party time to come together and form an agenda and start campaigning.

APEPISTANS LARGEST COASTAL CITY IS ROMAN?

Construction workers have found ancient ruins while building a new dockyard in Sarkel, Apepistan. A team of archeologists have investigated the area, and they found that the ruins are antique roman in style. This support the historical theory that the city of Sarkel is the same with the ancient city of Salamis, a greco-roman colonial town, and was later settled around and eventually conquered by steppe nomadic tribes. The construction of the dockyard has been paused, and possibly shut down to be built in another location, as the ruins are of vast historical and cultural importance. The United Kingdoms of Apepistan, along with the Apepistani Historical Research Centre, have said that the findings will be shared with the world, especially with New Rhodinia and Artite. Apepistan plans to invite teams of archeologists from the two arcadian states of the Roman Alliance to create a common research team for the project. So far only the city valls have been excavated, and a possible reconstruction was drawn (with the help of modern technology and ancient sources) of the ancient city of Sarkel/Salamis.

The new finding have caused a huge boom of interest in the coastal cities and settlements of Apepistan - tons of places are going to be investigated for further ruins in search for ancient greco-roman colonies.

As the Korrean separatist terrorists tried to conduct raids and arrests on Artitian citizens who are their on mission work and business restructure. The Empire is not withdrawing from the P.K.A and does not recognize the illegitimate government of New Korrea, Artitian is being taught in schools in the P.K.A and P.K.A citizens are being selected through a random lottery for transferring to the Empire for Post-Secondary education and Secondary Education, Two Thousands names will be selected giving those lucky citizens a chance to visit the Fatherland.

Imperial Navy Clash with Pirates

With the Korrean terrorists taking to the sea, the Imperial Navy has destroyed all marine vessels who do not have the authorization to be sailing. The Imperial Navy being one of the fiercest in the world had no trouble in dealing with the underfunded and ill-equipped pirates. The Emperor made a second statement about the rise in armed resistance in the P.K.A.

Section 1. After four months and twenty one days from the ratification of this article the manufacture, sale, and/or transportation of intoxicating liquors and substances (i.e. Heroin, Cocaine, Cannabis, etc.) within, the importation thereof into, or the exportation thereof from the United States of the Sanchez Republic and all the territory subject to the jurisdiction thereof for consumption purposes is hereby prohibited.

Section 2. The Congress and the several Regions shall have concurrent power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

Section 3. This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by the legislatures of the several Regions, as provided in the Constitution, within seven years from the date of the submission here to the Regions by the Congress.

Government Announces New agriculture Regulation

Earlier today the Irish Department of Agriculture released a set of new agricultural regulations. It has been named the New Irish Agricultural Initiative. It is a set of regulations that specifies certain aspects of the agricultural sector.

While still mostly free to run their own show farmers will be expected to stop using pesticides and grow wholly organic crops. They will be forced to submit to yearly inspection in which the IDFA(Irish Department of Farm Animals) will check the state of the environment that the farm animals live in.

This is one of the most controversial moves in Irish History, But it has rolled out with an astonishing 58% national approval rating.

"This is necessary to ensure a society that has safe farm grown foods to eat. We have let farmers slack off and not do their best to ensure a more healthy society. This so what we are here for. After a request from ISIS to build Islamic schools in Artite the request was approved by Emperor George Avarius the II. This has led to a huge controversial debate in the Empire as there have been multiple crusades and two inquisitions against Muslims in the Empire in the past six hundred years. With the recent war in Kragal where Pagans and Muslims alike were targeted by paramilitary groups and Imperial Guard Divisions, there is still mistrust of anyone other than a catholic or at least a christian. A total of two mosques and Islamic schools will be built in The Empire. One of each will be built in Rofinta and another Lazarus the holiest city in the Empire. Mass protests against allowing Muslims into the country have erupted across the country but were quickly broken up by riot police and heavily armed Guard units. The emperor made this statement,

"Our history is not a good one, it is filled to the brim with the blood of others, and at what cost? We are labeled as blood thirsty imperialists by the heretical Korrean scum, Leem. But we all know that we are more than that, we lead the world, yet we have black stains all over that tarnish our image. It is now time that we begin to out do the bad with plenty of good. That is why I am allowing Muslims to enter the Empire, legally and with out hate towards them. We can learn tolerance of others and others can learn of our ways. This is an age of reasoning and tolerance so let us take a new leap in a new direction and lead the world like we should, in every field. Many in the Empire still fear that this will be a cause for the Catholic extremists to begin armed resistance against the Muslims who will not be residing in Artite. A detachment of 200 Imperial Marines will be stationed at each school where they will protect the Muslims and Catholics who live and learn together. This is a huge controversial move for the Emperor and already it is receiving back lash, hopefully things can get better.

Atlantica's Video Game Market Opens Up

Atlantica's Video Game market has been closed off to the world due to a ban from the early days of the old dictatorship. Many of video games where banned or where made as knock off's of other games or consoles. Yet a few where became "popular" due to the internet.

However today that changes, Atlantica was opened up its video game market. This was met with people queuing for days outside of shops to buy real video game consoles and games.

Christian Missionaries on an Anti-Prohibition mission?

Early this morning, at 3:45AM, the border guard of the USSR was patrolling the border as per usual - when a large truck coming from the Republic of Great Empire Ireland had come to the border crossing.

The border guard asked the five their reason of travelling to the USSR. They had said their purpose there was, as Christian Missionaries, to spread the word of Christ. Once their passports had cleared, the border patrol decided to do a vehicle search since it was a large truck. In the bed of the truck were many barrels of wine from the vineyards of the Catholic Church in the Republic of Great Empire Ireland. Though the USSR’s policy on religion is to allow the current wine stores for sacraments to be used, but no new wine shall be made or imported.

Though the policy on religion is reasonable, and the border guard would have just asked them to turn around, the supposed Christian missionaries had opened fire on the USSR’s border guard with sub-machine guns - leaving two USSR border guards dead, and one injured. The delinquent missionaries were all shot dead, except for one – who is in a hospital for sustained injuries under police guard. The barrels, containing the prohibited liquor, were also all destroyed.

The government of the USSR has not made a comment on this event as of yet, but we plan on keeping everyone informed as events unfold. The President of the United States is expected to give a press conference later today at 12.
