(Passed)WA Calendar Act
WA Roleplay Calendar Act
The Real Year seems a bit to long for RP.
So I propose that we come up with a calendar here is what I have
3 Months in Real Life=1 Year in RP
This way a war could last longer without someone having to make RPs forever. Say if they want a war to go on for a year they won’t have to write War RPS for 12 months but for 3 instead. Or if the term for someone’s President or Chancellor is 4 years. They won’t have to wait 4 years IRL to have elections but only 1 year instead.

1 season=1 month. 4 seasons=4 months. 4 months=1 year. If you can tell me how to fit 4 seasons in 1 month then please do.Dromoda wrote:what about a month for a year?
Re: (Passed)WA Calendar Act
Hmm. 6 year in 1 year. That sounds good to.Arveyres wrote:One role-play year = two months.
With each season being 15 days roughly?
Re: (Passed)WA Calendar Act
And possibly we could have a post here or in the regional info saying something like:
Current Role-Play Year: xxxx
Current Role-Play Year: xxxx
Re: (Passed)WA Calendar Act
Yeah. I am leaning towards 4 months equals 1 year. But 2 months sounds good to.Arveyres wrote:And possibly we could have a post here or in the regional info saying something like:

Re: (Passed)WA Calendar Act
lol if this passes i say we start out with Year 1 NT(New Time) or something like that. It would make it easier and a bit more realistic.Dromoda wrote:WHAT YEAR IS ITArveyres wrote:And possibly we could have a post here or in the regional info saying something like:

Re: (Passed)WA Calendar Act
We are now in an official debating period, which will end at 0:00 (GMT) on the 20rd of March. After which, a three day voting period will begin, and will end at 0:00 (GMT) on the 23th of the same month.
I invite everyone to not express every vote before the start of the voting period, thanks.

Re: (Passed)WA Calendar Act
The first post on the forums was Febuary 5th,2013. So if its 3:1 ratio then it would be 2016, but if it is 6:1 ratio it would be 2019. But I would like to see a 4:1 ratio so the Olympics would be correct time wise.

So I propose that we come up with a calendar here is what I have
4 Months in Real Life=1 Year in RP.
Here is the breakdown.
January, February, March, April IRL=1 year in RP
May, June, July, August IRL=1 year in RP
September, October, November, December IRL=1 year in RP
1 month is 1 season 4 seasons a year so 1 RP year will have all 4 seasons

I don't see any reason for this...

Re: (Passed)WA Calendar Act
I don't like this act.... I already RP so that 3 months is 1 year, and I'm not going to stop any time soon.

Ik vind het niet meer leuk dat mensen Frans gaan praten.
Anders ga ik in het Nederlands praten.

Re: (Passed)WA Calendar Act
I really don't like this. We already had this discussion, and it was decided that the current set up of everyone going on their own time is good enough. And besides, there's really no way to enforce it, other than appointing a mod to keep track of it. And that task would be super difficult. As is, we can speed up the timeline through the doldrums and we can slow it down during crises, like we did during the Regornia crisis.

Let the RP take its own time besides. The ACTOR nation and the REACTING NATION awaits each other for every next move and the RP speeds up when most are online and it slows down when almost all is offline...
