(Resolved) WA Government v. Ceveztria

Following Ceveztrian use of nuclear weaponry, the Court will now begin prosecution of Ceveztria per the WMD Regulation Act.
The Court hereby authorizes the World Alliance Armed Forces to neutralize Ceveztria's offensive capabilities and to seize its remaining nuclear weaponry.
The court hereby authorizes the World Alliance Security and Justice Department to neutralize Ceveztrian offensive capabilities and to seize its remaining nuclear weaponry.
The Court hereby authorizes the World Alliance moderators to compel the attendance of Ceveztria to this tribunal.
The Court authorizes these activities per the WMD Regulation Act, and requests the council to initiate said proceedings to empower the aforementioned agencies.

The Court is temporarily suspending Ceveztria from all international organizations it may be a part of for the duration this case, due to its use of weaponry that violates WA Laws.

Ceveztria is hereby ordered to appear before the court for a trial. The WA Secretary General is compelled to represent the state, insofar as the Speaker of Parliament is vacant, as is the president of the council.

As Secretary General of the regional organizations,
I assure you that the World Alliance Armed Forces will provide all possible support to ensure evidence and official documents on the production and testing of nuclear Ceveztria.
The European Government is also willing to provide official data on the failed nuclear attack against our nation. The European Government will also constitute as an injured party, as the nuclear attack, fortunately failed, threatened to destroy our nation.

Citing the European Government's request for a Eurussian brokered proposal before the WA Council seeking to authorize an international warrant of arrest against former President Maximillian of Ceveztria, and citing Europe's close attention before the case brought against Ceveztria in this tribunal,Â
the Eurussian Empire believes that an issuance of an international arrest warrant doesn't rest on the hands of the WA Council but solely in this tribunal alone. Eurussia is pleased to inform the honourable WA Court of Justice that the former president of Ceveztria, Maximillian Aloysius, was captured by our forces along with his closest aides and ministers. Their custody will remain in the hands of our nation unless the tribunal directs us to hand him over to the WADSJ and/or to the Republic of Ceveztria.

The Court instructs Eurussia to put the former Ceveztrian Leader in COJ custody. Furthermore, the court orders Dromoda and Ireland to leave the court room so the trial may proceed.

Ceveztria has been accused of violating the Nuclear Test Ban Act and the WMD Regulation Act on numerous occasions, with the multiple detonations of atomic weaponry inside European territory, resulting in catastrophic environmental destruction and civilian death.
The Seceratary-General will now present the case of the WA Government against Ceveztria.

Fortunately we give reason to the accused.
According to official sources, no nuclear warhead hit Europe,since the missiles were immediately identified and destroyed in flight by the ballistic shield. There were no casualties, nor do environmental damage.
This does not mean that the launches were there, and the irrefutable evidence indicate that Europe was the single goal: not military sites, but cities and densely populated areas, including the capital. A cowardly and deliberate attack against the civilian population defenseless. The violation of international law therefore remains.
Recall that, although there have been attacks against Ceveztria, initially they were very low, just to prevent the dictatorship massacring other civilians and committing other violations of human rights. And in any case, Europe, the Allied nations and regional organizations, throughout the course of the war, they never hit civilian targets, reducing to a minimum the innocent dead.
The defendant might argue that launches nuclear warheads against Europe were only "self-defense", but we appeal to the principle of proportionality of the reaction with respect to the action. In the face of attacks on a small scale, can not be answered with the launch of multiple nuclear warheads, among other things, emphasize, against innocent civilians.
We hope that the Court can arrive at an appropriate sentence. And in any case, we will respect it.

Eurussia believes that Ceveztria has indeed violated the WMD Regulation Act by publicly announcing its intentions to produce a nuclear bomb and at the same time publicly acknowledging of proceeding with the dictatorship's nuclear program knowing of the existing international law. For that part,the dictatorship, including the president and all responsible, have indeed violated international laws.
However, we will continue to reject claims that Ceveztria was able to launch a "nuclear missile" against Europe, which would require years to develop most especially the range required from any point of Ceveztria to Europe. And for that, from the beginning of the announcement of the nuclear program, Eurussia has openly threatened Ceveztria of pre-emptive missile strike against any suspicious nuclear site, which thankfully, we have found none. And on these grounds, such missile launch is just a poorly developed missile which can't even carry any nuclear warhead much more cross the vast West Eurussia Sea to reach Europe. Thank you.
