COMMONWEALTH TROOPS MOVE INTO ZONE 2

Zone 2, formerly occupied by Kulon Bangsa, is currently being taken over by Europe and Asia. The commonwealth has sent troops into it to halt the spread of the virus in the area and to stabilize it after the sudden and irrational withdrawal of Kulon Bangsa's troops. The 67th Shock Army, consisting of around 750,000 soldiers and material, is currently being moved into Zone 2. This move is expected to be completed soon, and will solidify solidarity within what used to be Farshonia.

Col. General Sasha Belgrade spoke for the commonwealth: "At the behest of the Eurrusian military force commander in the area, the commonwealth has sent troops to control the recently abandoned zone 2. All rebels found to be hiding within the zone will be marginalized."

Chancellor Pootin also recognized the presence of Yellasian Forces, European Forces, Eurasian Forces, Articmainian Forces, and New Zealand Forces at the Kamchatka Territory to defend it side by side with the deployed 60,000 troops of the Imperial Armed Forces.

The Government of  Great Eurussia welcomes the good opinion of our trusted ally, the Government of Dromoda on the matter of our annexation of the Eurussian Territory of Kamchatka, formerly the World Alliance Territory of Farshonia - Zone 3.

In this regards, we are sending to your good government this official correspondence on our aim to clarify the matter on your side, as our ally. As the world knows, Eurussia and Farshonia has been long time allies since their country's foundation and we even have an existing Treaty of Friendship containing mutual defense policies and free trade policies. With these arrangements, it is our desire to preserve our friendship with Farshonia not just with its government but most importantly its people.

As the world knows, the pandemic in Farshonia has prompted global alarm that brought us to lead a Security Council Intervention to protect not just the uninfected people on the ground but as well as the people of the World Alliance, including the Dromodans. If not for this intervention, Farshonia might be doomed now by the world if the pandemic was not contained by the joint forces of several countries. Thankfully, the worst for the world has been prevented but regrettably, Farshonia experienced the worst no nation could imagined. Farshonians have to sacrifice the downfall of their government, power struggles of illegitimate groups trying to take advantage of the situation, pandemic that brought their livelihoods to nothing, preventing them to travel outside their country and even blocking all ships coming out from their country just to save ourselves, including your good nation.

Citing as well as the efforts of our government to contain the pandemic on our controlled zone, we have successfully exhaust all means to find the cure and immunization to preserve the lives of the people and while these efforts are on-going, rebel groups are taking advantage of the getting peaceful situation, and again, we lead efforts to suppress them. With these situations at hand, our government having all our accomplishments to save the people of the former Zone 3, now the Kamchatka Territory, have decided to annex it for us to have the legal means in the eyes of international law to conduct counter offensive against any individual that will pose a threat to now, our own territory, as self defense.

If not for these actions, if any attacks on these rebel groups were made by our good government, sooner or later, our leadership might be accused of slaughtering people in which we avoided to spare the innocent lives in Kamchatka Territory in which we are continuously saving through our very own efforts to save the people of the world.

All these efforts were made to save the people of the World Alliance from a deadly pandemic and that includes the good people of Dromoda in our very own expense.

In this regards, we are hoping on the preservation of the Eurussian-Dromodan Friendship.

PRESIDENT NIKANAWA VISITS NEW TARAJAN

This week, President Riko Nikanawa of the People's Republic of Shirouma officially begins his visit to New Tarajan with the arrival at the Van Janaesc International Airport in Tarajan City.
His Excellency will be a special guest of His Majesty King Friederick Wilhelm at the Royal Estate of Vieneskel, not far from the capital city.
For the arrival of the President, the Royal Army has prepared a great ceremonial parade on Conradlaan, followed by a speech of the Shirouma President in front of the Royal Landsraad at Palace Van Geldern.

"This visit is the first step toward the instauration of a special relationship between the Kingdom of New Tarajan and its northern neighbor, the Republic of Shirouma. It is the strongest commitment of both His Excellency Nikanawa and our King to create a permanent, political and economical link between our States in order to promote peace, order and stability to the entire region and a new era of prosperity to New Tarajan and Shirouma."

These were the words of the Chancellor Wali Esther Farah Rumaki during the recent Press Conference held after the speech at the Landsraad.
Also, the Prime Minister, together with the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Duke Constantin Rumi, confirmed the recent news about the signature of a treaty between the governments of New Tarajan and Shirouma.

"The discussion of a treaty between the two States was one of the pillars of the visit of His Excellceny Nikanawa in New Tarajan, and both the King and the President have discussed the question during their first meeting, this morning. The result is that the text of the treaty will be  submitted to the Landsraad and the Diet soon after the departure of Mr. Nikanawa, and officially proclaimed the next week. Until that moment, we can only say that this treaty will create a new political and economical connection between New Tarajan and Shirouma, with the creation of a free trade area, and the birth of permanent diplomatic and political talks between the two governments about all relevant matters." said Minister Rumi.

The visit seems to have encountered the most favourable welcome of the political world of New Tarajan, especially after the not-yet-remedied wounds of the recent political crisis which led to the fall of the first liberal government of His Highness Conrad Van Vinkel and the failing political coup of the military fringe linked to the Royal Tarajan Party and the White Party.

The Landsraad and the Diet, together with the people of New Tarajan, believe the patience and generosity of our King cannot be exploited again by such an arrogant behavior from one of those people who few months ago tried to overcome the will of the King and the government, and that now keep his position only because His Majesty decided to be magnanimous. If there is an insult to our history and tradition, that is the statement of the Chief of Staff."

Duke Constantin Rumi, in order to minimize the event, simply said: "The words of Gen. Van Oeerstaedt don't represent the point of view of the government, nor the most part of the people of New Tarajan."

Yesterday Articmainia has sended merines to zone 2 of Farshonia to fight the rebels and the zombies. WESTSIDE CITY (New European Islands) -Today, in the New European Islands, something really strange happened.
A ship with which they had lost contact for half an hour, was found beached on the coast of one of the islands to the east of the colony.

Yellasia division on Farshonia sparks protests in political capitols



While Prime Minister Carl Avery pushes for a united Farshonia in the ongoing peace talks, Yellasians have organised peaceful protests, each promoting different solutions.

Hundreds of Yellasians have stormed the Eurussian embassy in response to Eurussia's annexation of Farshonian territory. The protesters are also condeming Avery for not taking a stronger stance against what has been described by one socialist MP as 'imperialism'.

Yellasia's Deputy Prime Minister released the following statement:

We are not going to cut diplomatic relations with Eurussia, who has a beneficial military partnership with the United Kingdom of Greater Yellasia which has secured our nation from potential threats from other nations.

Few MPs would ever consider weakening Yellasia's relationship with Eurussia, a country that Yellasia maintains good relations with; however, many MPs are not willing to give up on Farshonia. Many MPs from the Socialist Party, Liberal Democratic Party, and Green Party have announced that they would be willing to accept more Farshonian refugees and continue to recognise Farshonian passports. A few prominent politicians and intellectuals have even proposed granting a small autonomous enclave to host some Farshonians and form a new government to preserve the Farshonian nation.

The Low Republic has reacted quite differently. A strong anti-Farshonian sentiment still exists among the Low people, who suffered over 56,000 deaths in the Great War at the hands of the Farshonian military. A recent survey conducted by LowSpeak indicates that 74% of Low nationals have a 'mostly negative' view of Farshonia. As a result, counter protests have taken place in Low City to prevent Yellasia from aiding Farshonia to such an extent. A bill 'exempting' the Low Republic from several 'pro-Farshonian measures' has been read in the House of Low.

President Lowgan of the Low Republic said to our correspondent:

How can the Yellasians in Parliament be anti-imperialist when the Low's relationship with United Kingdom is not accepted by a sizeable portion of the Low people?

Calls for another in-out referendum in the Low Republic have been made.

Yellasians, as well as many pro-Farshonian Lows, have also expressed concerns that Yellasia is not making the best of its Security Council membership and that Yellasia bring the issue to the Security Council.

It is clear that this foreign policy issue has reignited certain tensions in Yellasia that will play a huge role in the upcoming elections set for this fall or late summer.
