EUROPE AND ASIA ANNOUNCES SUPPORT OF SWAG YOLO LAND

In a unexpected turn of events, Europe and Asia has announced that it will support Swag Yolo Land in its war against Dromoda. Premier Weber said:

"While we support Dromoda because of their socialist standings, we support our fellow CSSN members more. Dromoda may have its reasons, but it is unjust to invade a neutral country."

Europe and Asia's switch of sides will provide the defense with a massive boost in manpower, as Europe and Asia's total manpower, including its Colonies, is over 59,000,000 soldiers. Combined with other nations supporting Yolo Land, especially New Zealand, Dromoda is expected to be outmatched.

Yellasia puts military on red alert, formally declares support for SwagYoloLand



Former foes, the Yellasians and Lows, as well as a small contingent of Commonwealth soldiers, stand together in the first military emergency since the Great War. The Greater Yellasian military has been put on red alert following unconfirmed reports suggest that Yellasia may be an additional military target of Dromoda. Yellasia, in a patriotic surge, has seen recruitment levels soar, although a mere 45,000 have been called at this time.

Yellasia has already condemned Dromoda's threats to invade SwagYoloLand, a pacifist nation. In addition, Dromoda has hinted at an invasion of the Low Republic multiple times in the past. Dromoda also announced the deployment of troops on its east coast, located not near SwagYoloLand, but Yellasia. This has prompted fears from Yellasian politicians and military leaders.

Prime Minister Carl Avery announced that Yellasia will not recognise Dromoda's claim to the island, but is reluctant to take further action. Yellasia has established peace with Dromoda, and the situation is made more complicated by the jointly managed trade area in the strait separating the nations, and their free travel agreement. There are a number of Dromodian citizens residing in Yellasia, and Yellasian citizens residing in Dromoda. The Minister of Diplomatic Relations has urged all Yellasian citizens in Dromoda to return. Dromodian citizens in Yellasia are welcome to stay, but if diplomacy is shaken, they will still have the option to leave if they are not suspected of spying. Another complexity is the fact that there are Eurussian military bases located in Yellasia.

Dromoda has by far the largest military in the World Alliance with an estimated 10 million; Yellasia's military consists of approx. 140,000 ( a huge portion being new recruits, unable to fight), estimated to grow to 180,000. Following Aloia's support for SwagYoloLand, Yellasia is technically obliged to aid Aloia via the Vinnata Union constitution. Other nations such as Europe and New Zealand have inspired Yellasia to take further action.

While militarily weak, Yellasia possesses an important economy. While Yellasia supports SwagYoloLand, Yellasia's military is on red alert purely for defence purposes, with no intention of going to war with Dromoda. The Yellasian government, is however, considering repealing the lax diplomatic laws regarding Dromoda and imposing an embargo, if Dromoda follows through with the invasion. If not, Yellasia will not engage in any action against the Dromodian government.

OOC: I also get the feeling none of us are following the Realistic Roleplaying Act. Technically Dromoda's military should be 1,000,000, not 10,000,000, and Eurassia's military should be 5,900,000, not 59,000,000, correct?

OOC: No, the NS tracker has changed. It's become realistic now. And my actual power is 25,000,00. I just added my puppets to it like NZ. Even if we did divide by ten again, I would have the largest military. 5.9 million. Also, the military sizes now are realistic to the size if the nation.

Marquette has declared neutrality in the recent plague of events to hit its region. Chancellor Charpantier has declared that he will not join either side of the war, and he desires strongly to not be pulled into this conflict.

To ensure utmost national security, the Chancellor has also put the nation's navy on standby, to prevent any ship from any country active in the conflict from entering Marquetien waters. Any foreign military aircraft entering Marquetien airspace will be intercepted immediately.

The Landsraad condemnation of Dromoda

The Kingdom touches again the edge of the political crisis, after the discussion of a new bill by delegates of the White Party resulted in insults between the seats of the Blues and the Whites, and the smack to Heinrich Marienstromm, delegate of the Blue Party, by one of the proposers, Marcus Leen.
The President of the Diet immediately suspended the meeting, and only the intervention of the Royal Guards avoided the beginning of a brawl between the opposite sides.
The proposed bill regarded the abolition of two of the most discussed pieces of legislation in the history of the Kingdom: the Act for the Freedom of Marriage, which allows people to marry who they want, without limitations, and the Act for Sexual Freedom and Education, which suppressed the religious-inspired prohibition of the sexual education in schools and banned all kinds of religious views on the argument.
The discussion became hot when Marie Leen (sister of the aforementioned Marcus Leen), also a proposer of the bill, said that "maybe celibacy is a better option than the so-called sexual freedom, which I strongly believe to be a prison". Words that resulted in an immediate protest from the seats of the Blue Party, accusing the adversaries to "follow a retrograde, obscurantist point of view, which threatens all the people of New Tarajan with its foolishness"

This is only the last evidence of the not-so-hidden contrast inside the Diet between the liberal-conservatives and the conservative-reactionaries, drammatically increased since the latest protests against the alliance between New Tarajan and Shirouma, desired by the Rumaki government few weeks ago, which threatens the capacities of the government: many analysts are expecting an imminent political crisis, similar to the previous one which lead to the fall of the Van Vinkel government, or even worse.
After the closure of the Diet, the Landsraad took the lead to discuss about the recent crisis between Dromoda and Swag YOLO Land. The Landsraad approved an official condemnation of the Dromodan government. However, the government has not yet subscribed the document.
"The delicate political situation of the Kingdom" stated today at a press conference Gen. Maximilian Viers, Deputy Prime Minister "doesn't allow the government to immediately take a firm position in this crisis. For the moment, however, I wish to express the strongest intention of the government to not let the crisis to result in a full scale conflict. So, we invite Dromoda and Swag YOLO Land to sit around a table, and discuss a peaceful settlement."
In the next hours, Prime Minister Rumaki is expected to meet His Majesty the King at the Royal Palace; in the agenda: the solution of the political contrasts and, maybe, a stronger position of New Tarajan in the international contests.

After Marquette and her beloved province of Fuerteventura were finally reunited earlier this July, the citizens of Marquette are back on the streets protesting the movement of the Gay Marriage Bill, which is currently being debated on by the Senate. The Conservative Party controls the majority in the Senate, but several Conservative Party Senators have been swayed the other way by their king, who in an act of solidarity with the leader of Aloia, broke the tie in Parliament's Lower House to pass the bill. The also Liberal majority in the Upper House of Parliament chose to pass the bill along as well.

Today, about 140,000 Marquetiens gathered in Vedois Square, the location of the Senate building, as well as Vedois Manor. It was a peaceful protest, but the police still had the square blocked off so no one could enter or leave.

Yellasia's economy has grown at a rate never seen before in its history, and has recently been ranked 'powerhouse' by various think-tanks. The economy is expected to grow even more.  The Kingdom of Yellasia alone is the 37th largest economy in the World Alliance, and the four countries of the United Kingdom of Greater Yellasia together form the 24th largest economy. When looking at 'internationally involved' nations, Yellasia ranks well. These figures exclude the New Yellasian Space Colonies. If the Vinnata Union common market (Greater Yellasia, Aloia and Genolia, and Marquette) is to be considered one economy, it is arguable one of the most important in the region.

The economy has expanded due to increased consumer confidence, some expansion of the private sector, political stability, and the Low Republic's industrial power. Yellasia itself is mostly a service based economy.

But what does this mean for Yellasian citizens? Yellasia has long had a high standard of living, due to its public services, environmental policies, and health policies. But income levels lagged far behind other developed nations in the World Alliance. For the first time, Yellasia has made a huge leap in increasing individual income. This has come at a cost. Income equality has taken a slight drop, but does not exist much within individual countries (excluding the Low Republic). It can be examined on a national level, which shoes that Yellasians are on average wealthier than those in the Commonwealth as well as the Low Republic.

This is largely to do with the devolved governments. Low citizens now receive welfare and health benefits from the UK government, but the House of Low has yet to do so at a devolved level. Huskdor remains the poorest country of the United Kingdom despite attempts at both a national and devolved level. Coreelia was once expected to become the wealthiest in the UK, but Yellasia has surpassed them.

These issues will be addressed in the ongoing constitutional convention.

ALOIA REBUKES REBORDJA

The Imperial Minister of Defense Basil Urban released an open letter to the ReBordjan authorities this morning. Part of the letter read, "Our continent has existed peacefully for generations. Please let this peace continue. We'll have our eye on you."

The military of the United Empire of Aloia and Genolia hasn't been involved in any conflicts since Aloia's return to the World Alliance, and it appears that they don't want to. Maybe the Genolians have brought pacifism to the formerly belligerent Aloians.

The Georgian President Ivan Bolshivsk announce The Georgian's Liberation Army (GLA) to support ReBordja's army in ReBordja-Anglosphere Border Conflict.

GLA (Georgian Liberation Army) is willing to dominate the Georgia and ready to took it's resources ,sack other natives and also attack the nearby colony marked (CV).

With the combined forces of The Gorgia and ReBordja we have been able to subdue the protesters in the capital provice and surroinding areas.

Shirouma is becoming concerned with Georgias actions.

Recent days the new country of The Georgia has been much visible on the international area mostly because of their threats against Republic of Chivalry's colony.

Other news are that Shirouma has been starting to create a relationship with Aloia and have been discussing trade partnership with each other.

Genolian Missionaries' Deaths Spark Protests

David and Francesca Shan were killed in ReBordja in the riots. The Shans were missionaries in the ReBordjan city of Abbel. Their deaths have led Aloian and Genolian leaders to order the ReBordjan authorities to bring order back to the area and bring democracy back to the nation.

Many young Aloians and Genolians are now in the streets in protest of the loss of ReBordjan democracy and the deaths of the Genolians missionaries.

The missionary couple's three daughters were safely evacuated back to their home town of Harbourton before the riots began. Their oldest, Rachel, is 29 and was a teacher, but now is back in Genolia looking after her sisters.

In an effort to stop this conflict we have pushed the rioters into the city of wrelch.



There is an estimated 1.5 Million people Protesting in the city alone and 90,000 protestors in police custody.But things may be  going on a turn for the worse With reports of armed rioters being spotted all over the city.

Invasion! Rebordja launched a 40,000 troops invasion along with 30,000 Gorgian troops today. We have successfully captured the tip of anglosphere and some underlying Territories.This invasion is in response of our offer to our trade prisoners of war they denied.We have successfully captured the base where most of our troops were prisoned at.Prisoners that were recaptured include major Urel Papia.

Brigadier General Valery Kalasminov, Chief of Antanares Defense Force, had declare this morning the Green Condition. After the recently events happened in the Georgian territories and after the declarations of other members of World Alliance, the Shadow Council of Antanares had active the condition.

"Green Condition is not a war condition. It's when our troops are ready for every situations. Georgian state is not an Antanares's affair, but we are ready for eventual rapid escalations. We hope the international organisations be present in this situations" said the Brigadier General.

During this morning's Senate session, Chancellor Georgia Osterreich announced that Imperial warships launched this morning from St. Helens and Puerto Viejo en route to Anglosphere. She warned the Rebordjan authorities to stop their invasion of Anglosphere immediately and retreat back to Rebordja or face the international consequences.

"We're dedicated to peace in our continent and entire region and we won't allow nations to upset the careful balance we've established. Therefore, I have sent the 3rd and 4th fleets from St. Helens and Puerto Viejo to the sea around Anglosphere. They will not fight unless fired upon or if the Rebordjans don't leave by tomorrow evening. Peace is worth fighting for!" the fiery Chancellor of the Imperial Union declared.

It appears that the Genolian pacifism might not be wearing off on all Aloians.

Chancellor Osterreich also ordered the southeastern border with North Rebordja to be opened to any refugees fleeing from the civil war. Aloia has always been a safe haven for refugees and hopefully it will continue to be one.
