The Minister of Internal Affairs, Vladimir Kolokoltsev, announced that the government will be deploying at least a million police units throughout the Koryan Peninsula as the government begins the transition on the administration of the former Korya from the Joint Eurussia & European Command to the Eurussia - Europe Council.

He said that the Koryan Peninsula is already an internal matter with Europe and the gradual recall of all military units of the Imperial Armed Forces will continue as planned together with the support forces from the allies.

The Internal Minister also revealed that the transition from military administration to civilian authority is a perfect timing as a report from the Ministry of Health have shown that majority of the population in the former Korya have already psychological fears to any men in uniform, most especially the military, as they have grown and lived for several years under a dictatorial and oppressive regime.

Although finding no security threats on Koryan Peninsula, he also said that the presence of police forces in plain uniforms will maintain peace and order. 

As the newly established Free Republic of New Paristan faces more problems as it begins its transition under an interim government after their country's bloody and violent civil war that shook their nation, its current interim administration is seeking support outside its borders to help the country overcome its difficulties.

Hence, its Interim President, Jean Marc Valjean, made its first overseas trip to Moscow, but a second visit from a head of state from New Paristan, as their country has relatively strong ties with the superpower even before the civil war. Upon arrival in Eurussia, the visiting leader was welcomed by Chancellor Vladimir Pootin at the White House where they held extensive bilateral meeting.

After the bilateral talks, both leaders held a joint press conference where the Chancellor vowed continued Eurussian support in helping New Paristan achieve its aspirations for its people and pledged to provide one hundred million euros ( € 100,000,000.00 ) as financial aid to the interim government of Paristan and its succeeding elected government to boost growth and development.

The Eurussian Chancellor also said that the government through the newly tranaferred Eurussian Embassy in the new capital city of Jospin will be sending observers to the incoming elections in New Paristan to ensure transparency. He also formally invited New Paristan to join the World Development Bank to help their economy.

The Marquetien Parliament left session today with the intention to help the Marquetien economy. Today they successfully increased tariffs on foreign car imports that were not from certain close allies of Marquette, which include Aloia and the Holy Patrician States. Parliament believes that greatly increasing tariffs on foreign car imports will help the Marquetien automobile companies gain popularity here, especially as New-Zealand's world famous automobile company, Holden, gains popularity in Marquette.

These tariffs come with a long set of laws proposed by Chancellor Charpentier and his Conservative Party, in an effort to improve the Marquetien economy after a almost a decade and a half of liberal chancellors who led Marquette into two recessions and greatly weakened its economy. After the recent Parliamentary elections in which the Conservatives dominated the Liberal Party, it has become obvious that the Marquetien people are tired of trying Liberalism and multiculturalism, and are ready to once again take up their Conservative roots.

In a recent statement, Patéras Bartholomew II said that he "fully supports the Conservative Party" in its recent efforts to keep Marquette a safe country, Christian country. He and several politicians agree unanimously that Marquette is not, and never has been a "place for everyone." Since its founding in 1655, the nation has been a strictly Christian Orthodox nation, and "we [Conservative Party] simply wish to preserve the image of this country that the first settlers on this island had."   

In Marquette, some 80% of museums are privately owned. The National Organization of Art, or NOA controls most of Marquette's art museums. In a recent ploy to preserve the morality of the nation's young people, the NOA has recently banned nude art in all but one of its forty-three locations nationwide. Carl García, spokesperson for the NOA said to the MBC (Marquette Broadcasting Company) today that, "while we agree that several pieces of art that include nudity are indeed art, we have decided to ban nude art in our museums to protect the minds and morality of our children here in Marquette." In another interview with ENN (Eznurf News Network) Mr. García stated that "if parents or other citizens do not agree with out decision, then they can certainly go to other museums, we are not stopping that at all. We simply want to provide a safe place for families to enjoy a Saturday without having to worry about what their children see."

The Ministry of Defense has announced that the Duchy of Kamchatka is on heightened alert as its norther neighbor, the Colony of Articmania, being separated only by a strip of land of a European Colony, faces escalating rebellion which is reportedly being supported by the Former Farshonia Liberation Front (FFLF) which is lead by rebel leader, Gordon Turner. The rebel group is estimated to be 500,000 strong and aims to take the former Farshonia ravaged by virus which is now controlled by 8 sovereign independent states.

Even though the Defense Ministry didn't elaborate how the government is preparing for the rebellion threats that might lead into an international crisis, news outlets in Kamchatka have found uncommon sightings of Apache Attack Helicopters of the Imperial Air Force. They are presumed to be patrolling the borders near the colonies of Europe and Articmainia.

Although the environment in Kamchatka is relatively peaceful and in a business as usual mood, beach goers and merchant vessels have reported numerous sightings of massive Arleigh Burke Guided Missile Destroyers of the Imperial Navy assumed to be patrolling the coastal areas.

Military analysts believe that the huge number of the Former Farshonia Liberation Front is already a threat on its own and even though reports only show that they only target the Articmainian Colony, the spillover effects of the rebellion to nearby foreign lands will surely convince other governments to act swiftly before the rebellion turns into a war.

Chancellor Vladimir Pootin arrived today in Pyongyang, the capital of the former Korya, to visit the peninsula for the first time after the Koryan War that ousted the oppressive regime. He was welcomed and cheered by thousands of well wishers as the people, for the first time, can gather together on their own choice, a freedom they never experienced before.

The Chancellor said on the crowd gathered at the surviving stadium of Pyongyang assured the cheering Koryan people that the Eurussian Government will ensure that from the day the former dictator was ousted, no Koryan descendant will be oppressed anymore. He also assured that all abusive officials and personnel of the former dictatorial government will be brought to justice, including the dictator, at all cost.

He also revealed that the Eurussian and European Government, through the Eurussia - Europe Council, is doing everything to ensure that democracy will prevail for the future of the Koryan Peninsula. He also said that both governments are already beginning the preparations for the formal transition on the governance of the peninsula as the citizens will be given the freedom to choose their own government without fear and coercion under a self governing autonomous status that will ensure the continuity of identity of the Koryan heritage.

The Eurussian Chancellor is also scheduled to visit other localities of the peninsula.

NEW MALIZIA TO AID GREECIA

After the recent conflict between Greecia, Texania and New Malizia and with the end of the war between them, The Prime Minister of New Malizia, Najib Razak decided to sign a treaty with Greecia and aid Greecia to recover from the recent war. He also stated his gratitude to Greecia for giving some of their lands to New Malizia and Texania but refuse to take it. He stated that rather than taking their lands we must have a powerful diplomatic relation in order to make sure this doesn't happened again. An embassy will be build at the capital of Greecia if both of us agree and a treaty will be sign between both country.
