MARQUETTE MODERNIZES ITS OWN MILITARY

To keep ahead of the Eurussian Imperial Armed Forces, the Marquetien Parliament has set in motion a series of its reforms for its military. The Navy is, as usual, the center of much of the funding. Marquette has long valued its prized navy, which is considered the best in the world by many. Just over a year ago it underwent a large overhaul in which it was drastically modernized. Missile launchers were added to many of Marquette ships, as well as a state of the art missile defense program.



The Marquetien airforce is also to be seeing some major updates. For decades, the Marquetien ariforce has been one of the most inferior in the world, and has seen massive cuts in funding as of late. With upstart warmongering nations on the rise in recent times, the Marquetien government is taking no chances with its people's safety, and is modernizing every branch of the military.

In Gdansk Naval Base , one of the biggest naval base in Farshonia is under attack by the unknown numbers of FFLF approximately 70 000 6 hours ago.After the raid , 520 soldiers were killed and 916 were wounded while 10 954 rebels were killed and 30 115 were wounded and 70 battleships were stolen by the surviving rebels.FSA (Farshonian Secret Agency) investigators believe that FFLF stole the battleships and they use it to destroy Articmania's naval ships and of course their land forces.


Luckily that one of the wounded rebel says that Mr. Turner also plan to invade other colonies in former Farshonia and he says that all rebels size were 1 000 000.He is also start to build jets to bombard cities in former Farshonia.Once his plan and the invasion was successful he will turn the former Farshonia into a "Nazi state".

Dromoda is working on its own on civilian help and prosperity for the people. because if we can build our own nation we could build another one. however those words of General Chi Lao are not entirely reliable because the Dromodian occupied territory in korya does not allow any help from outside. however they are like always open for discussions.

EUROPE AND ASIA ANNOUNCES STATE OF EMERGENCY

A chemical weapons disassembly plant in the Northern Province of the State of Germany in Eurasia suffered a catastrophic explosion in the center of the plant, spewing active chemical weapons into the surrounding area. Eurasian Military Forces have evacuated the surrounding area, and Naval Command is currently contemplating glassing the area to irradiate any chemical elements in the area.

As Trinova improved it's defenses , Bronislaw Komorowski orders the FAF to defend the southern border ready to spill Trinova's armies blood.The planes and jets are ready to enter the enemy's airspace and the artilleries and mortars are positioned in a narrow front in the border.

Once the FAF is almost full in the border then the blitzkrieg strategy will be use to crush their defenses.If the hedgehog defense is use to stop blitzkrieg then the hordes of SCUD launchers will turn them into ashes.

The Empire of Articmainia has crushed Confederate Articmainia. Empire of Articmainia's casulties were relativity light Empire lost only 30 men and 50 wounded and lost 25 tanks and only had one jet shot down. NEW TARAJAN REJECTS EURUSSIAN WORDS

The relations between New Tarajan and Eurussia seem to be arrived at a critical point after he statements of Eurussian Minister for Foreign Affairs, Sergei Lavrov, rejecting the proposal of Aloia, Antanares, Casavarr and Europe to hold the trial of former Koryan dictator Kim Jong-Un in the Kingdom, where he is actually under custody after Aloian request.
The Eurussian Minister also pointed out the Eurussian sovereignity over Korya and implicitly accused New Tarajan to not respect international obligations.
The King and the royal government responded with steadiness.
In an official note issued from Vieneskel, His Majesty stated that "the words of Eurussian Minister Lavrov are not only unjutified, but also offensive of the reputation of New Tarajan has a country always respecting International Law. All our allies, including Europe, which, due to the word of Lavrov himself, keeps part of the sovereignity of Korya, proposed to hold the trial in New Tarajan, and we felt obliged to respect the will of the international community. We are surprised that a country like Eurussia, which always promoted the development of International Law, is refusing right now the will of the international community. We call for respect of this will. And the Kingdom will not tolerate any charge on the illegality of the trial. We are very sorry of the position taken by Eurussia, but we will not accept insults to the moral integrity of our diplomacy."
The note continues, stating that "We are not violating the sovereignity of any State: we are applying International Law. After the sentence, Kim Jong-Un will be taken into custody by Eurusssia and Europe. We want also to underline that we never forced any government to take any course of action: the Aloian government, as loyal ally and partner, decided to give us the dictator for the trial. Finally, I want to personally thank Minister Lavrov for the interest in our reputation in the international community, but I am sure that all the countries of the region will be more than capable to appreciate the deep respect of New Tarajan toward International Law. Maybe, they will be more glad to sign treaties with such a country."

Since the tragical events of the Koryan war, Casavarr observed with pain the sort of thousand people forced to leave their homes, constrained in terror and dolour, slaughtered like beasts in the horrendous abattoir of war.
Firmly, We acted. To those who lost their properties, We offered supplies and medicines. To those who lost their land, We offered hospitality. To those who surrendered to despair, We gave hope.
And still, We were not alone. You, Glorious Heralds of Democracies, Champions of Justice and Protectors of the most valuable Rights, You were on Our side. You fought a war much more tremendous than an armed conflict: the war against inhumanity. Some of You also faced  unjustified accusations. Nevertheless, none of You surrendered.

In these tragical times, We regret the fact that We could not handle the burdens of another issue on Our own. Members of the SECURS, proud democracies of the World Alliance, civilized nations of the earth, Our Dearest Friends, We sorrowfully call for Your action.

For the umptenth time, a gross violation of human rights is taking place. Hiding behind a fallacious shield of internal affairs, Eurussia has condemned without trial SIX MILLION former Koryan low rank soldiers to forced labour. And this is a tragedy: not only they were obligated to serve wicked Koryan masters in an unfair war, but also those who should have been their liberator made them slaves again.

We do not accept that. We will not stand still, while other pain accumulates in the Koryan soil. We will act again, constantly fighting for a better world for Us and Our children. And We will do it with the weapons of diplomacy and Intellect.

Please, Civilized Nations of the world, hear Our cry. All of You, please, help Us.

As We do from now on, interrupt any commercial and political agreement with Eurussia, a nation which highly disrespects You and the international community, a country which considers You no more than a low rank ally or a fly to be crushed.
When their ambassadors will try to contact You, in order to convert You to an unjust cause, answer back that You will not discuss until they grant You the deserved respect. Because what happened to those Koryan soldiers is an insult to every human being.
And when Eurussia will finally acknowledge its errors, forgive them and reopen the negotiations.

PRINCESS ELISE ANSWERS TO EURUSSIA
The most prominent expert in International Law defends New Tarajan

Tarajan City.
Tension grows higher between New Tarajan and Casavarr on one side and Eurussia on the other, while Eurussian Minister for Foreign Affairs Lavrov responded to the declaration made by His Majesty the King affirming ironically "I don't know what international law they are talking about. May be you could ask them since this is not our priority."
On behalf of the Kingdom of New Tarajan, and in order to respond to Minister Lavrov, Her Highness Princess Elise Angelique Van Vinkel, sister of the King and the most prominent expert in International Law of the Kingdom, issued an official letter:

"Since the beginning of this crisis I was particularly concerned about the future of the relationship between New Tarajan and Eurussia. It was a surprise, and not a pleasant one, to know the answer of the Eurussian government to the proposal of a Third Party Trial against Kim Jong-Un, and the words used by Minister Lavrov against our Kingdom.
I was also deeply surprised to learn about the confusion of the Eurussian government toward the position taken by New Tarajan in the respect of International Law.
And for this reason, and with the sincere hope to help re-establish cordial relations between our two nations, lowering the level of tensions between us, I decided to answer to Minister Lavrov.
Our government always stated that New Tarajan position is to respect International Law, and the will of international community, as expressed by many countries of the region, while Minister Lavrov affirmed that this will not corresponds to international law.
I have to correct this mistake: indeed, it is clear that International Law itself IS the representation of the will of the international community, due to the formula "opinio iuris ac necessitatis" which constitutes the fundamental principle for the birth of new consuetudinary norms and rules, the very pillar of international relations, since I do not know about the existence of a Universal Constitution.
Now, let's go to the particular case: a prisoner, Kim Jong-Un, as been arrested by Aloian authorities with the charge of crimes against humankind when he tried to seek refuge in the Imperial Union. Obviously, the Aloian decision was the right one. After this, the Empire of Eurussia asked for the immediate extradiction of Kim Jong-Un, affirming that the crimes he committed were against Eurussia and Europe, which have invaded and annexed Korya consequently.
Aloia, after a mediation effort of our Kingdom, accepted to give us the prisoner, with the condition he would be given to Eurussia and Europe after a trial hold in New Tarajan itself, since Aloia trusted the impartiality and neutrality of our Kingdom.
The proposal was then supported by Europe itself, and by Casavarr and Antanares. But Eurussia refused it, affirming it is a violation of its sovereignity, and requesting the immediate extradiction of Kim Jong-Un.
The fallacies of this position is clear, and I will list them:

1) Firstly, it is a generally accepted principle of International Law that extradiction of a prisoner constitutes an obligation only in the case there is a particular treaty regulating the matter between the States involved in the question, which is not true in our case, since no Treaty regulates extradiction between Eurussia and New Tarajan or Aloia, even if they have signed an alliance treaty.

2) Eurussia repeatedly claimed to be the only one nation to have the right, alongside Europe, to judge Kim Jong-Un on the basis of a treaty signed between the two countries. This is a clear violation of another basic principle of International Law: indeed, "pacta tertiis nec nocent nec prosunt". In few words, the treaty between Eurussia and Europe cannot create any obligation to third States.
Also, Europe supported the proposal of the third party trial, thus deleting any effect of the previous agreement.

3) At least clauses from one Resolution of the World Assembly (and Eurussia, like New Tarajan, is a member of it) stated that:

e) The nation from which extradition is requested claims jurisdiction over the crime for which extradition is sought;

CLARIFIES that the nation from which extradition is requested may also refuse to extradite for other reasons, insofar as such refusal does not contradict existing World Assembly resolutions;

The first clause is justifiable since Kim Jong-Un is accused of crimes against humanity and any State, as customary international norm, has jurisdiction over such a crime (and this includes New Tarajan).

I could also add that, since no official Peace Treaty has been signed, but only an armistice, between the Koryan Republic and the Empire of Eurussia, legally the Koryan Republic still exists as sovereign State, Kim Jong-Un is not an Eurussian citizen, but this could be questionable.
The point is: what can be done, now? The answer is simple: Eurussia could accept the holding of a trial in New Tarajan; alternatively, it could be organized an International Court specifically designed to judge Kim Jong-Un and his comrades; another alternative, finally, would be to follow the clauses of the General Assembly Resolution #102, on the establishment of the International Criminal Court, which explicitly provides the authorization (if not the obligation) to member States to submit prisoners charged of crimes against humanity, crimes of war, etc...to the ICC judgement.
I hope to have clarified the position of the Kingdom, and to have done a small contribute to the dissipation of the doubts of Minister Lavrov.
