OOC : Thats the thing Artic. I have resources and equipment that allow me to run a full scale advanced form of gorilla warfare. Where ever there is water, my navy can be there and land forces. Wherever there is sky, my AC-130's can be there, my bombers can be there, and my transports can paradrop troops there. Wherever there is open land or roads, my tanks and convoys can travel there. I'm not running some old school form of American Civil War tactics here, I'm running the gorilla tactics that were first used by Nazi Germany in WWII, and are now used by the US Forces.

You cant really hope to beat me, I outnumber you 2 to 1, and outgun you 4 to 1. You have absolutely no chance of winning in conventional warfare.  Your best chance is to attempt and immobilize my defenses and launch a attack on my nation, I would then revert to a defense stance which will give your forces in Articmainia some breathing room. You can fight with force against me, you must fight smart. NZ is no fortress, and there is one blatantly obvious way to immobilize my defenses. If you cant think of it, I will tell you once the war end. But I promise, you'll be kicking yourself for not figuring it out.

OOC: How can you run all of these pieces of equipment when your standard fuel requirements have a deficit of 20 million barrels a day. While in war, you use more oil. So, unless you make a post about where your getting your new oil from, then this is not possible and you need to stop.

We Have Oil?



Prime Minister Samantha Williams, leader of the Socialist Party, has successfully inked deals with Texania and Ivania which will see them supply NZ with a consistent supply of fuel. Any excess intake of fuel will also be met with a shortfall supply from Marquette of the Pacific. On top of this, the parliament has voted on, and passed, the "Oil Preservation Act" which will halt most oil mining in New-Zealand, instead saving the reserves for a "rainy day". As promised those who are employed by the state owned NZ Oil firms, will be reallocated to another job, probably in NZ Steel. However the down side is, due to the oil now being shipped here, the price has risen from $1.64 per Liter, to $1.85 per Liter. However, the Social Democracy is looking to invest further into using Hydrogen as fuel, and is currently selling Hydrogen at the pump free of cost. This is due to the heavy electricity surplus in NZ from the Fusion Reactor plants, coupled with the relatively low demand of Hydrogen that has rendered the commodity near worthless at present.

NZ Takes Defensive Positions




In the light of the alleged invasion of NZ by the Articmainian forces, the Social Democracy of New-Zealand has gone into a state of complete lockdown. Military personnel are patrolling the streets, and police have been armed with assault rifles and body armor. Currently though, the Navy is still managing to keep the Articmainian forces at bay, whilst the invaluable "Firewall" defense network has stopped any ariel assaults. Nonetheless, the nation is preparing for the worst and has gone into a defensive strategy, giving the order for 20% military recall to NZ. As of now, it looks like the NZ forces will manage to hold them off, but nothing is certain at this time.

The GLA started to attack Coreelia and Northeast Snarfia.Because of the Antanares invasion , the leader started to give guns to civilians who are loyal to him.Now the Georgian project "Fireo" is completed it is 2 huge incendiary bomb ready to launch in City of Yell and Austinia.

MARQUETTE OF PACIFIC INVADES JAPAN

After finishing its full mobilization of the entire military, Marquette has begun an invasion on the northern peninsula of Japan and has landed its roughly 500,000 men near the capital of Japan, Tokyo. Marquette has begun air raids on Tokyo but not without sustaining several losses. The Marquetien military is preparing for an artillery bombardment of Tokyo and is urging Japan to evacuate the city of woman and children while it can, because Marquette "CAN and WILL take full control of the seat of power of Japan." Said Chancellor Charpentier today. "Marquette is tired of a number of nations constantly going to war, so we must stop it by force. Marquette was attacked by the Japanese Empire and Japan will feel the full force of the Marquetien military.

Texania puts airforce on high alert!


Texania,which has just recieved a threat from georgia,has put its airforce of 14,000 planes and 3,000 helicopters on high alert!The texanian airforce has been given permission to shoot down any plane that doesnt respond after 4 warnings.The texanian space colony,Nebula x,has also been given orders to initiate "sattelite spying".Texania has also put civilians at high alert,and has started the process or evacuating civilians to bunkers.

Yellasia puts airforce on high alert

After receiving threats of incendiary bombs from Georgia, Yellasia's airforce has been put on high alert to ensure any enemy planes, missiles, or anything of the sort is countered. Residents of the City of Yell are being moved to bunkers, originally built during the War of 1937 with the Low Republic and are periodically renovated. Residents in other cities are doing the same, while others are fleeing their cities.

Coreelia is mostly safe from Georgia due to the international coalition consisting of Yellasia, Marquette, New-Zealand, the New-Zealand Colonies, 140,000 Novo Canuckian volunteers, and a small contingent of Aloian soldiers. The fear is that Georgia will attempt to go out with a bang.

Prime Minister Carl Avery and Yellasia's Minister of Defence are hard at work writing a peace proposal.

Avery says he hopes Georgia will not launch the bomb, because even if citizens are led to safety, the City of Yell has a rich history and culture.

The Vinnata Parliament, representing Aloia, Marquette, and Yellasia, voted nearly unanimously in admitting the Holy Patrician State's membership to the Vinnata Union. So far, this is the only expansion of the Vinnata Union. It's constitution is being amended to include the Holy Patrician States.

The next most common are Vinatta Union members due to their open borders with Yellasia. It is expected Patrician membership will increase Low immigration. 6,900 Lows even went to Articmainia, thought to be among the only immigrants in modern Articmainian history.

The Invading Articmainian Forces Surge Through NZ Resistance

The Underdog, Articmaina, has successfully shut down the NZ Defense Grid, rendering the Social Democracy essentially defenseless. The time tested "Firewall" system has proven to be an unstoppable force, one which Articmainian forces could not even think of penetrating. Luckily for them, the didn't have to. In what history will deem one of the worst tactical decisions in history, NZ High Command deployed 80% of troops to launch a counter invasion on Articmainia, then in an even more stupid move, ordered majority of the 20% to move inland and barricade the cities incase Artic forces break through the defense grid. However, this left "Reactor Island" vulnerable to attack, something the NZ High Command did not foresee. Furthermore, the Fusion Reactors stationed at "Reactor Island" are currently the electricity source running the Firewall system, so all the Articmainian forces were required to do was simply overwhelm 100 odd forces, and take over reactor island, and shut down the power supply, thus switching off the firewall. Once the realized what had happened, NZ High Command ordered the backup oil fired power stationed to be recommissioned, but due to the recently passed "Oil Preservation Act", the oil rigs needed to be started first. By the time all this was done and the back up power station working, it was too late. Articmainian forces had exploited the brief lapse in resistance to cut swiftly through the NZ lines and capture the NZ Command HQ. Thankfully, the all members of the High Command and Parliament managed to escape to Newasia where they took an immediate an immediate flight to E&A. A large quantity NZ civilians have managed to escape across the border the Newasia and Schorr where they are currently residing as temporary refugees. Nonetheless, a substantial amount of civilians remain trapped in Mainland NZ. With High Command out of the way, Articmainian forces have captured the HQ and restarted the Firewall system, this time programed to attack any personnel and vehicles not registered under Articmainia, Georgia and The Japanese Empire. This has effectively placed the nation of NZ under siege, with majority of its military stuck outside the nation. Regardless, the remaining forces, along with help from civilians, are putting up a fierce battle, holding majority of the key cities (such as Auckland). Only the rural areas, and Capital City have been placed under Articmainian control.

The Prime Minister of New-Zealand, speaking from E&A, has pleaded for assistance from any and all nations. She termed this NZ's darkest hour and begged for NZ's allies to come to its rescue. "Lives are being lost every minute, I beg you nations of the World Alliance, please do not stand by and let NZ crumble to its death. Whenever, you have been in trouble, NZ has been the first to respond, countless times we have thrown our economy on the line to save your people. Now it is us who need the help! We are down, we are hurt, and we are dying... Please send your forces and recapture our nation and free it from siege, our military is in chaos, and majority of our automated equipment were disabled when the Articmainian forces shut down our mainframe computers. To the people of NZ, and the Allied NZ Forces, I'm not going to lie though, it will be a struggle, for the first time in decades we will have no "overwatch", and we will be victim to the very machines we built to defend ourselves. But do not give up hope, keep fighting and one day we will overcome the invaders."

Because NZ , Texania , Marquette and many others invade Japan eastward , the Japan's economy is cripple due to bombings of industrial structures in every major cities in East Japan.Not long before that Central Japan Line is built.It has pillboxes , underground tunnels , mortars , AA guns , trenches and mine fields to stop the Allied advance deep in Japanese territory eastward.


In Okinawa , the island located in southeast of mainland Japan is becoming a huge war zone due that Imperial Japanese Army largest base was located there.Again the Allied also invade Okinawa eastward.

In Manchukuo , the Japanese puppet state has few IJA forces there so they decide to send supplies for Articmania's army in NZ and for Lutherian Revolutionaries in HPS.

After hearing of the capture if new zealand by articmainia forces,texania decided to sent an extra  300,000 troops to articmainia. These troops were stationed in the texanian colonial territories,because they were sent up there to protect the colonies.These 300,000 troops easily captured a lot of territory,due to the fact that articmainia has most of its troops fighting in southern articmainia and in new zealand.The 1.4 million texanian troops already fighting in texania managed to capture some territory.texania has lost 170,000 troops in articmainia. Also Texania has also imposed a naval blockade on articmainia.

EURASIAN FORCES LAUNCH COUNTER INVASION OF NEW ZEALAND



Some 60% of the Articmainian invasion force has been re routed to New Zealand to fight the Articmainians there. The 40% left in Articmainia will be on the defensive until Colonial troops arrive to reinforce them and bolster the NZ invasion force. The Eurasian forces will push Articmainia out of New Zealand to the forces awaiting them in their motherland. Europe and Asia will use drastic measures to force the Articmainians out, including prioritization of captures, meaning that Articmainians taken prisoner might be marginalized due to lack of resources to properly care for them.

Eurasian forces will also deploy HITPE's, or High Impulse Thermobaric Plasmic Explosives, for the firs time since the World War years ago. The Eurasian Strategic Command has also not ruled out using Flux Bombs in the Articmainian homeland.

FIRST MILITARY OPERATIONS AGAINST ARTICMANIA

After some weeks of war, and while the SECURS Assembly is going to take an official position on the question, creating a Joint Military Force, the Kingdom of New Tarajan, after have deployed already some fleets in the war areas, today officially began a series of military operations against Articmania in response to the invasion of New-Zealand.

A series of joint naval-air raids hits the Mnemonysean territories of Articmania, particularly all military facilities and vital logistical infrastructure.
Due to rumors from the military, soon the attacked territory will be invaded by land forces. The goal of this first operation is "to secure the Mnemosynean continent, our continent, from this terrible war. We cannot let Articmania to keep bases and dangerous installations so near the borders of SECURS." as said in a note of the Ministry of the Military.
Also, the operation is defined as "a direct response to the unjustified aggression and invasion of New-Zealand, Sarvadia and Coreellia by the allied states of Georgia, Articmania, Japanese Empire."
Indeed, recent news confirmed that reinforcements have reached the Aloian forces defending Sarvadia.
Tarajani airfighters are already at work to impose air superiority on the area.

Meanwhile, New Tarajan also called for an immediate Security Council resolution to resolve the conflict.
"We believe it is necessary an immediate intervention of the Security Council." said Minister for Foreign Affairs Constantin Dilaver Rumi in an interview this morning: "We ask the SC to issue a resolution, providing the SECURS with the powers to enforce peace in the region against these foolish aggressions, since we are the international organization most directly involved in the situation. Obviously, with the collaboration of all other States attacked or involved."
Minister Rumi also confirmed that: "Since Eurussia has recognized officially our preliminary investigation on Kim Jong-Un, and that the Landsraad Supreme Court has reached a verdict of guiltiness of the former Koryan dictator during this investigation, then New Tarajan has not other reasons to prolongue his permanency in our Kingdom. Kim will be immediatley extradite to Eurussia, where he will face the justice of Koryan people."
This decision marks the word end over a difficult period of tension and crisis between Aloia, New Tarajan and Eurussia. Now the situation is expected to improve rapidly.
