He also declared: "Since Casavarr hasn't a space fleet, we will closely operate with Antanaresian army on the ground. An aereo-naval expeditionary force has already been sent".

While the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Fleets of the Royal Tarajan Space Fleet are still en route to meet the Antanaresian and New-Zealand forces, the situation in space is watched closely by the citizens and the government of the Jahan Space Colony.

"What will we do, when Greecia will attack us as reprisal?" asks a concerned citizen on the street. And the fear is shared also by the colonial government.
In order to stop the spread of anti-war manifestations in the Colony, after a protest near the Palace of Government suddenly exploded in urban guerrilla yesterday, the authorities proclaimed the martial law all over Jahan.
"This a decision we are forced to make in order to protect the population." said Marquis Uriel Van de Groot, Royal Viceroy for the Colonies, alias Governor of Jahan.
Also the works on the site of the new Shalimar Space Colony are being interrupted, under direct order of the government.

On Earth, the allied forces of the SECURS are ready to proceed against Greecia.
Today, a note from the Ministry of the Military confirmed the execution of a first series of air raids on many Greecian military installations, with the goal to prepare the full-scale invasion, if necessary.
The royal government is also preparing a series of conditions to send to Greecian government in order to cease the war. The conditions for Greecian surrender will be disclosed soon.



The government has also issued a note praising the new ascension of Empress Emily Julius to the throne of Malandis.
"The Kingdom of New Tarajan is really glad to see the changes the new Empress of Malandis wants to do regarding the policies of Her country. EUROPE AND ASIA MOBILIZES SPACE FLEET, JOINS NEW ZEALAND

Europe and Asia announced that it is mobilizing its space fleet to join its ally New Zealand in the offensive against Greecia. Commonwealth Naval Leaders expect a swift victory against the outnumbered Greecian Forces. The SSVZ has warned Greecia that prolonged resistance or use of its Orbital Laser will result in Orbital Bombardment of Refugee and Evacuation Centers.

The Premier has announced the government support of New Zealand, and supports use of the Flux Bomb. In a speech, he stated:

"While use of WMD's is always discouraged by the Commonwealth, in this case it is warranted. The government of Greecia is a rouge state that uses violence to achieve its means. It has proved to be violent. Use of Flux Bombs and Destruction of Refugee Centers is necessary."

The SSVZ 8th and 10th fleets, the closest to the area, have joined NZ and are forcing their way through Greecian Lines.

Frontline: Rook Island

At approximately two in the morning today, HRNC launched Operation Flashstorm. The main goal of the mission was to capture the city of Port Canarval, which was ultimately achieved, but at a heavy price for The Hidden Reef.

The operation consisted of three parts: establishing a beachhead to the north of the city, move into Port Canarval, and drive the PLM west. Stage one of the operation started at 1:39, where HRNC troops faced heavy resistance from PLM troops. After a two hour firefight, the People's Liberation Movement retreated to the south into the city.

With a beachhead established, infantry moved into the city, with coordinated artillery strikes from HRNC ships destroying established PLM encampments. After twenty minutes of fighting from encampments in apartment buildings, the PLM took a more fluid, guerrilla style of fighting the HRNC. This made artillery coordination extremely difficult and ineffective. Most casualties occurred during this time frame.

After three hours of guerrilla combat, PLM troops retreaded from the city. It was at this point that the HRNC claim that they achieved their mission.

While the HRNC claims control of the city, combat continues on the outskirts of the city. Artillery raid against the HRNC are extremely effective, as infantry troops do not know their way around the city and hold up in vulnerable locations. Marksmen are incredibly effective as well, taking a more fluid approach than the standard sniper.

The military refuses to give exact numbers to the casualties, but military analysts suspect a minimum of 50,000 HRNC infantrymen casualties.

The infantrymen are expected to move west from Port Canarval and corner the PLM troops on the east coast of the island.

The Russian 1st space fleet has launched to space to destroy space lasers while the Russian 2nd and 3rd space fleet will search for extraterrestrial planets to colonize instead of launching a space colony.

HRNC takes 40% of Rook Island

Through the day and night, HRNC infantry have been pushing east against PLM troops. The PLM still maintain their fluid tactics, which are extremely effective against the rigid HRNC troops.

From Port Canarval, HRNC troops have been advancing east, taking shelter in farming homes and using them as command posts. Ambush and guerrilla tactics prove ineffective to the highly barricaded homes, but extremely deadly against mobile ground units. Air and artillery support is highly ineffective against the fluid forces of the PLM.

While the PLM's tactics may be effective against the HRNC, they are not so effective in holding territory. When the PLM moves around, it give HRNC troops more opportunities for creating fortifications.

However, the war is proving unpopular to many of The Hidden Reef's citizens. Massive anti-war demonstrations are happening across The Hidden Reef, from New Plainview, to Lukasburg, even in the capitol of Patson City. This is bad news for Prime Minister Alexander, as election season is fast approaching. Political analysts say that if Alexander doesn't end the war soon, it is no stretch of the imagination that he will not be reelected.
