Last night, at approximately 2:02 am, famous Passenger Liner SS. Royal sank in what the authorities are calling the 'Worse Maritime Disaster in British History.' SS. Royal had been created only six months ago, by the British marine company, Black Circle- owned by the multi-billionaire and extremist Sir Gorge Williams. Royal had been deemed invincible by its peers, due to its sheer size and capacity to cross the entire world in less than three weeks (an achievement for passenger liners.) Over six thousand passengers had booked tickets, and three hundred crew members joined them, as well as an estimated fifty stow-a-ways. Many of the First Class passengers included the luxuriously wealthy and noble families common with the British Media, including Lord Edward Jones and Sir Thomas Dorgan. Captain Harold Stevenson himself assured the world three days ago when the ship left its port in London, that Royal was "Capable of holding out even if the first deck is flooded, and capable of driving through a hurricane."
On its maiden voyage, Royal was crossing the British Ocean to reach the The Social Democracy of New-Zealand. It has sailed for four days already, and was nearing the center of its second ocean. At 9:00 pm, however, disaster struck. In the crows nest, three crew members reported rocks ahead, and advised the captain to turn of the engines. However, after crossing the first ocean, the Captain had commanded the engines to be put on full-speed, straining the engines. An attempt was made to stop the engines, but, due to the time they had been on, it was impossible to do so on time. Instead, Officer James Becket commanded the ship's drivers to steer the hull to the right hand side to avoid the massive rocks straight ahead. At 9:15 pm, the First Mate of the ship reported to the Captain that there had been a colossal smash in the hull, and that the ship had lurched forward. At once, Stevenson and the high-command of the ship went to investigate. According to a witness, the engine room had "Recived a massive blow when the rocks had made contact with the hull. Steel and iron had been torn from the wall, and several boilers had been damaged beyond repair."
Water began to fill the hull, and the Captain ordered the compartments to be ceiled.
At 10:00, the crew retired to bed, certain that the hull was now safe. At 10:15, though, an engine-runner reported masses of grey smoke rising from the starboard, with flames roaring inside the engine room. According to the Black Box readings, the engines had flooded- inflicting violent fires across the lower decks. Pieces of metal were trailing behind the ship, with holes appearing across the hull and the metal was blown of by the damaged engines. Finally, the Captain ordered his crew to prepare the lifeboats.
According to Sara Kitly (a second class passenger,) the crew started separating women and children from men. Men were placed on the other side of the deck, whilst the women and children were taken to the side of the ship. However, it was reported only the First and Second Classes were taken from their cabins, whilst the Third Class Passengers were ordered to remain at the other side of the ship. Half of the life boats, however, had been stored under the hull, and were now flaming and burning as the engines sparked. Women and children were rushed onto the life boats, whilst the men were ordered to remain away from the life boats until every woman and child had been placed on the boats. By 11:00, the ship had started slanting towards the hull. Life boats began to fall into the sea half-full, whilst furniture and water alike began to pull the ship further and further down. It was estimated two hundred passengers had been placed onto the life boats, whilst thousands remained on the sinking ship. Endless wireless signals were broadcasted throughout the hour, endless transitions being sent to any ship in the area. However, only one reply was made, by the H.M.S Atlantic- a Battle Ship over fifty seven miles away. At once, the Captain ordered the Destroyer to head towards Royal. By 11:33, flares and fireworks were being let of frantically as the hull was ripped open by the oncoming flood of seawater.
The Captain committed suicide at 11:50 pm in his cabin, then knee-high with water, reporting the the First Mate 'The ship is dead, the crew have permission to abandon their captain."

By 12:00, the ship had sank totally, killing over five thousand passengers and the entire main crew. Hours after the ship had struck a rock, it had been pulled underwater. The dead include Lord Edward Jones, who, according to survivors, dressed in his best suit, helped put women and children aboard the lifeboats and retired to the bar with other men, toasting to- The British Empire, our King and out families.
H.M.S Atlantic arrived in New-Zealand this morning, with the survivors from the disaster aboard.

The gallant behavior of both passengers and the crew of S.S Royal has to be remembered, but we must also not forget one thing- that man cannot challenge nature, and that nothing is invincible. God rest their souls.

SUPREME STATE ASSEMBLY VOTES TO CHANGE NATIONAL FLAG

The national flag of Europe and Asia, which has not been changed since the mid 1950's, was recently changed to remove the white stripes that appeared in the left hand side of the flag. The stripes original insertion in to the flag remains a mystery, as the creator of the flag, Susanne Smith, died in the mid 1970's. The change was vehement opposed by fringe elements of the Eurasian Centrist Party, who argued that changing the flag was tantamount to treason. Spokesman Sen. Gregory Urban, speaking for the Eurasian Social Democratic Party, the ruling party in the country, had this to say:

"While the flag has been unchanged for many decades, the Eurasian population in many polls felt that removal of the stripes was a necessity. The people spoke, and the government answered."

The opposition, Sen. Bertrand Zebrost, stated:"This is yet another attempt by Weber and his communist ilk to destroy our beloved commonwealth, by changing and wrecking beloved national icons. If this does not show a mandate for Weber's crazed policies then-"

The senators speech was interrupted by a hurried vote to enact cloture.

H.M the Queen Pays Respects to SS. Royal Victims and Survivors.

Following the terrible and disastrous sinking of SS. Royal (in which over five thousand people perished,) Her Majesty the Queen visited victims' families and survivors in the National Memorial Parade today. Survivors such as Lady Edith Jones, now a multi-billionaire widow, and many other upper-class women who have lost both sons and husbands also attended the parade. Her Majesty saluted the memorial in Plymouth today, with the seven hundred soldiers of the Royal Navy Brigade gun-saluting into the sea as a several Union Jacks were placed into the water. Officialy, His Majesty made the memorial speech the day the disaster unfolded, but Her Majesty added to this today by saying:
"God is both merciful and cruel. He has claimed lives, and will do so again. But fear not. God is merciful too, and those souls will be with you, as they are with Him, soon. May God bless you all in this terrible time.


Sir Gorge Williams (head of the Passenger Liner Company, the Black Circle,) was attacked and narrowly escaped death late last night after a large mob of over one hundred British citizens marched to his home in London and forcibly set the home ablaze. Several explosives were thrown into the house, as well as bricks and shrapnel, whilst the crowd went on to break through the front door and damage the front of the house considerably. After refusing to attend the Memorial service and refusing to public speak on the matter, several survivors used diplomatic influence to try and even have the ultra-wealthy knight deported. The lynch mob entered the house at 1:15 am, and set upon Williams, who let off several shots with a military revolver- wounding three rioters.
Police arrived at the scene at 1:30 pm, and reluctantly arrested several of the lynchers. Despite this, Williams demanded compensation from the chief rioters. At 7:00 am, a car parked in front of the mansion belonging to the Billionaire, in which five members of the British Secret Police came out. Williams was arrested officially under the authority of the Crown, which ordered and warranted his arrest and the ceasing of his assets. So far, Williams is being held in a Government Prison awaiting questioning.

STATUE OF LIBERTY CELEBRATES 50 YEARS IN QAI

QUEEN ANNE ISLAND, Arkania, Aloia == A well-known symbol of Aloia, the Statue of Liberty, is celebrating 50 years in Queen Anne Island. The statue was originally a gift from the Holy Patrician States (present-day Arveyres) to the Green Federation of Aloia, when Aloia was located in Olympia before the Unification. The statue stood in the harbor of the Aloian capital of Talos Eri, a city which now lives under the Artic flag. BMW ANNOUNCES PLANS FOR AUTO-PILOT

Election Triumph: Kohl Victorious But Faces Tough Talks

Chancellor Helmut Kohl won a historic election victory on Sunday as his classical liberals scored their best result since unification in 1990. It's a personal triumph for him, but he faces tough negotiations to form a majority government.

Helmut Kohl's classical liberals won a stunning victory in Sunday's general election, sharply increasing their share of the vote by 7.7 points to 41.5 percent and putting him on track for a third term.

It's the best result for the classical liberals since the heady days of 1990, when Cathamians handed then-Chancellor Jacques Chirac, Kohl's former mentor, his third term in a wave of gratitude for his role in unifying the nation with the crown of Marquette.

Cathamians are similarly grateful to Helmut Kohl, it seems, for his policies which have cut personal taxes and driven unemployment rates down even further.

Kohl's junior coalition partners, the liberal Alternative Party for the Catham Islands (AfCI), crashed out of parliament. His classical liberals fell only five seats short of an absolute majority, obtaining 46.4% of the available seats. For a number of tense hours on Sunday night as the votes were being counted, it looked as if he might be able to govern without a coalition partner.

He may well have been relieved when results finally confirmed that Cathamians had spared him an absolute majority. Such a triumph could have been a poisoned chalice. He would have faced the uncomfortable prospect of governing with a wafer-thin majority of seats and a hostile, opposition-dominated upper house of parliament with the power to block his policies.

With a coalition having already been announced between the Fatherland’s Front and the Greater German People’s Party, the fascist bloc has already secured 43.7% of the total seats in parliament. This leaves the Christian Democratic Union Party as the sole decider on who will control the Catham Islands new government. Will they abandon their traditional allies, the Fatherland’s Front, and prostitute themselves to the corporate conglomerate desperately clutching for the reigns of their capitalist paradise? Helmut Kohl can only pray it is so; Cathamians can only pray it is not.

The government decree was approved by the Parliament with an overwhelming majority, only a short time ago, and is now fully operational.

So interventions for the redefinition of the roles of the State and of the Regions.
It then goes on to interventions aimed at improving general care, with the improvement of existing technologies and the modernization of the machinery.
Finally there is an intervention on the staff, with the recruitment of new physicians and practitioners, with a total release of the turn-over and the stabilization of temporary contracts.
But first things first.

This law will allow the National Health Service to become the most efficient, modern, technological and accesible throughout the region and beyond.

The Ministry of Health has provided a general increase in funding, which consist of several tens of billions, which should bring government spending on health to at least 10-11% of the Gross Domestic Product.
As a result will be increased state funding directed towards the Regions (which co-operate with the Government in health matters), which will always be traceable and suspendable at any time, in order to avoid waste.
These loans have very specific destinations and already established, aimed at improving healthcare delivery to citizens.

These agencies will have a regional operations center, and more detachments at the provincial level, all fully computerized and equipped with the latest technology and constantly connected with hospitals of their respective areas of expertise.
The Regionals Operations Centre and the Provincials Operations Centre will have the task of managing the emergency in the event of a request by the citizens. (via the number 118).

However, all persons who have an income below the national median income, with the new rules, are excluded from payment.
They are also excluded from the payment of special categories of people, such as pensioners and the elderly, children, chronically ill and other people at risk (pregnant women, or persons performing particular jobs).

The law strengthens the role of the Ministry of Health in the governance of the National Health Service, which retrieves real capacity of government health policy, in a ratio of full and fair institutional collaboration with the regions, carrying out fully its function of directing, monitoring, assessment of the innovation system with the criteria of homogeneity and equity of access to care.
