Democracy is Returning!

They will be the sole legislative authority of Soviet Russia.This will make us richer. Letting the people decide. Let the people rule!"

In recent elections the newly formed Socialist Party won 180/327 seats in the newly formed Soviet Senate. Only 163 was needed for a majority. The Socialist Party has been campaigning hard under the motto "A More Free Government". While many people thought that the Communist Party would get control. The elections were a big surprise to many. The Socialist Party has already formed a coalition with the Democratic Party. "This is to ensure that the Communists can not over ride the decisions made here." said the leader of the Socialist Party David Bennett.

Today marked a new day in Russian History. For the first time in nearly 100 years the Russian people now have a democratically elected leader. David Bennett, leader of the Socialist Party, was approved as Prime Minister by the Soviet Senate on a vote of 227-100. Many people are hoping for change to come. Our nations number one problem is the communist regime. They have ruled this nation for nearly 100 years and this nation has not developed one damn bit. We are living in slums. The total estimate for this contract is $670,000,000. The aircraft will be mainly used to quickly move large object from military, naval, and air force bases around the country. This is expected to jump start the military and help with production at those bases. In times of war, this aircraft can be outfitted to contain heavy weapons and provide support from the air. Many people fear that this sudden purchase is in result to the threat of North Korreaa and the civilian population is starting to ask more questions.

Shlask Begins Development of a True Air-force


(SNN report): Up to this point Shlask's Air-force has been comprised solely of foreign makes and models, but not anymore! Over the past few months our nation's R&D division has developed many prototypes that were recently shown to the public, ranging from high speed jet fighters, to experimental stealth zeppelins. Soon the prototypes will enter trials, and if they pass they will be used in creating a 100% Shlask designed Air-force. Why the aircraft were revealed so early is unknown, but many think it has something to do with Articmainia's, and Xolox's actions towards CAP's members.

THE EMPIRE OF EBSOTZ SPLITS



In Royal Court in Ebsotz's flourishing capital, a dispute begins over civil right beliefs. South Ebsotz wants more power in the Royal Council. The Emperor believes that they have equal amounts of power, which they do. South Ebsotz retaliates fiercely, sending mobs of people and soldiers to Olmz, a major city in Ebsotz. Then the South is furious, and takes hostages, currently an unknown location to EIC (Ebsotzian Intelligence Council) The North tries to make peace, but the South just invades. The war has begun.

The North hopes that this will not last long, but the chance looks brim. The North is forced to build a wall cutting the Empire into two. Guards watch fiercely at any move the South makes. The South does the same.

The North's capital is Evangelheim, while the South capital is Asgeshutz. Križanić as well has been split into two.

SOUTH PUSHES TO THE NORTH



As the North begins to deploy troops, the South pushes fiercely into the North, forcing soldiers to retreat, or surrender. General Schulzman of the North is very disappointed, and his stress levels have risen dramatically. The Flag of the North and South will be revealed shortly.

The merchant fleet is ordered to travel in convoys now, each supported with a various number of cruisers from the U.N.A., until the crisis is resolved. "The armed support of ZAR trade ships is not a national decision only, it is our duty as ZAR members to protect our own merchant fleet if our trade routes are endangered. Recently a ZAR trade ship, which did not belong to the apopic merchant fleet, has been attacked, and so the ZAR council has declared that convoys and armed escorts are required in international waters. We have information that the attacker was a ship associated with W.T.U., World Trade Union, an organisation that has announced itself to be a rival of ZAR. This information is not yet proven, the whole issue is under investigation by the ZAR council.

The United Council of War has appointed admiral Lord Rustem Dhowan to command the naval forces protecting Apepistans ZAR merchant fleet on international waters.
