Emir Abu meeting with Syria nuclear plant managers

The managers and in charge of the historical and landmark project of the Islamic States the Syria Nuclear Power Plant is meet with Emir Abu Lakiptani on his palace to discuss the project. He is frustrated with the meeting he called with Great Eurussia and Trinity because they cannot convince the Emir that the nuclear power plant is bad. But the meeting will still continue to reach a compromise but Emir has already ordered the managers of the nuclear project to start the planning and architectural design of the country's first nuclear power plant to not waste time that should be in service of the people.

Nuclear In Togana
  The Peoples Republic of Togana and the The Republic of Corinthos have entered into a trade pact. Part of the deal is Corinthos is helping Togana construct a nuclear power station of its own. The new power station, named Trinity Island Power Station, will be Togana first nuclear station in what the president is calling a new day in energy in Togana.


Togana to Develop Gas Field Offshore
  Togana has authorized the construction of the first of 6 offshore gas platforms in the Leviathan Gas Filed of the north shore of Togana. The field is the largest of the natural gas field in Togana and the 6th largest in the world. As with all Gas fields in Togana the state owned company Togana Gas Company (TGC). This field will transform Togana into a energy exporter and a economic powerhouse.

Atlantica Needs a Single head of state?

Issues have been raised by the General Public that the senatorial system may not be as effective as once through out to be. Many of the people believe with the constant debating of a collection of people may be slowing down the process as unlike having a single head of state/government.

"This is by no ways a demand for the return of the old Mother State of Omega Atlantica. We believe it would be more effective to have a single head of government like that of the Atlantican Knights. For example, we would have a leader who leads for life, but when he dies he could have a successor elected by the public. Something like an elective Monarchy, the knight order did something like this, but it was only the knights who could vote, and the system was corrupt. The Merchant Fleet of Corinthos has grown significantly since the new trade agreements. The merchant fleet is expected to grow by 70%, which will raise Corinthos to one of the top trading and commercial nations of the world. The increased ports and fleet size will employ tens of thousands of people, mostly thetes, the lowest class of Corinthian society. Tension Brews in Syria between ISIS, Trinity, and Eurussia

The Bank of Ireland confirmed today that the Irish Economy had hit a 6 month low falling 2.5% today and 1.6% yesterday. And it shows no sign of recovery. People have already started blaming the Government for this crisis. The House Minority Leader, Theodore Garrett gave a speech to a large crowd gathered outside the Congress Building.


"Your Government has failed you! It has ignored the will of the people and has only sought to expand it's power. But we see where it has gotten us. It has gotten us in between a rock and a hard place. The Executive Government of Gregory Robinson has done nothing but stomp on the people. They have stomped on our rights, on our way of life, and they have stomped on everything we hold dear. The July Job Update was released and it turns out that we have lost nearly 5 Million jobs. When President Robinson took office he promised to drop unemployment below 2.5% but now it is at a 18 month high. 18 months! We have the smallest workforce in nearly 5 years. This is not how we can grow as a nation. To grow as a nation we must take power away from the executive and put it back with the people. That way people can put their trust back into the Government and we can work with each other. The Conservative Party may only control 41% of all Congressional seats but we are the voice of the people and we get louder everyday. From this moment on the Conservative Party will support changing our Government from this current form to a new form. A Parliamentary Democracy one where the executive can not get out of control. This will ensure the people feel safer. And will let them put their trust in their Government. I call on the Government to call for a referendum on this matter. Court case against Juanito Almesa to start later

The court case against the corruption and power abuse suspect former opposition leader Juanito Almesa and his wife Manuela Almesa-Viczai will start next September instead of next month.

At first, the court case was due he first of August but both the attorney and public prosecutor have asked for rescheduling. Attorney Pablo Kowikosi who represents both suspects confirmed news coverage about the delay this Thursday. A spokesman of the public prosecutor also said they would need until September to hear all relevant witnesses.
On request of the prosecution, the court granted the hearings of 97 witnesses a month ago.

It now appears the time frame was too short to get all witnesses to contribute to the case.
The rescheduling provides the Corralejoan police with more time to find the still missing lead suspect, Juanito Almesa. He allegedly fled the country a month ago by using falsified identification when it became clear he would be prosecuted once more. Eventhough no new leads or tips have come in over the past month, the Corralejoan police is hopeful they will be able to track him down, especially now the Corralejoan government has proposed the World Alliance Police Act. Should Almesa stay unfindable, the court will still contine the case and will be able to condemn him in absence.

In the meantime, Ms. Almesa-Viczai has been released on a 250,000 peso bail after spending three weeks in preliminary imprisonment. Almesa-Viczai is charged with contribution to the dictatorial regime and corruption during the last four years of the Almesa dictatorial regime. According to the public prosecutor she may not appeal to the amnesty rule set by General Batista in 1990. ''As she is no direct family member, she may be prosecuted for her contributions'' said the spokesperson of the prosecutor. Ms. Almesa-Viczai, aged 57, faces up to fifteen years in jail with a potential financial penalty as well.

The Republic of Corinthos' Public Works have finally finished the reconstruction of an ancient Temple of Poseidon, in Acrocorinthos. Celebrations were held, with thousands of people attending the opening ceremony. Demetrius of Pharos, Gerusia Member for Public Works, Education and Culture of the Republic of Corinthos, has said: "[...] this is a great step towards the Republic of Corinthos gaining the gods' favour. Poseidon will guide our merchants and sailors through his domain; we simply can not start a fleet building this large without his blessing. As the state's budget will allow, we are looking forward to restoring and building new temples to the gods."



The Muslim population of Corinthos has organised a small protest against the opening of the Temple of Poseidon, claiming it was insulting Islam. Currently there are several mosques in both Acrocorinthos and Nea-Corinthos, so the muslims can freely practice their religion in those, however, lately the followers of Islam have been more and more agressive against the native religion and the worship of the hellenic pantheon. The protests have been peaceful so far, no police intervention was needed. The Ecclesia has stated that the Republic of Corinthos has no intentions to make any actions or "punishment" to the muslim population, and will punish anyone who does so.

Crisis In Togana
The protest that rocked the capitol last week have died, but they have transformed into a armed crisis in the southern portion of the country. After armed men took control of police stations and raided two army depot's. The Toganas Internal Police and the Togana's Peoples Military have been mobilized. They have set up road blocks around the region and preparing to move forces into the cities.
The president has offered a pardon to any person that will lay down their weapons and go home, but so far no one has accepted the pardon.

Crisis in Togana
The armed struggle with protesters has died down in recent weeks after a seize fire was worked out. The rebels would lay down their weapons in return for more control over the southern state of  the nation. In the deal they would be allowed more control on religious, social, and economic dealings. Their goal of independence will not be meet and the president has stated that any group that keeps fighting will be dealt with swiftly and with force.

Return of the Paladin

Following long heated discussion within the Senate it has been decided to return the Paladin head of state. This idea is a form of elective monarchy where the Paladin rules until death, then five other Knights (one being his child) have month to persuade the public to vote them into power. The First elections will be held next monday across the nation, and the 5 chosen knights have already begun speeches across the nation.

Emir orders all Abusians to arm

The Prometheus Power Plant was finished and opened near Nea-Corinthos, and has started to produce energy and supply the cities with it. Electricity prices have dropped drastically, for much rejoicement of the Thetes and Metic class of citizens. The Corinthian uranium mines and the many trade partners of Corinthos will secure that the Republic will always have a constant flow of uranium and energy. Future plans for expanding the already enormous power plant have are already being discussed, however, nothing exact is known at the moment.
The Republic of Corinthos is not taking the security of the Prometheus Power Plant lightly, a constant 1000 strong "Hoplite" unit is guarding the facility. The military unit named after the antique heavily armored footsoldiers is currently one of the most experienced elite units of the Corinthian Armed Forces.



As the above mentioned motto of the Corinthian Navy says, naval traditions are very strong in the hellenic city-state of Poseidon. The Boule is therefore currently discussiing a technological upgrade for the Corinthian Navy. It is currently unknown if the navy will be updated with foreign or own technology, or exactly what units will be replaced. Only one thing is sure: that a new naval port is being built in Nea-Corinthos, that will provide thousands of jobs to Thetes and Metics. The Monarchy is Back

In a referendum the Irish People chose a new path. They chose to restore the Monarchy and the Parliamentary Democracy. Since the fall of the Irish Empire in July 2014 and the fall of the Irish State in August 2014 the Irish People have suffered through 3 Presidents. The last two of which brought the spirit of the nation down. With 79% of votes in favor or 134,300,000 votes the Monarchy under the House of Hanover, the predecessor to the House of Windsor(1917-2014), was restored with His Majesty, King Phillip I of the Kingdom of Ireland at the helm. It's been a week since the referendum and already a new Government has been elected. The Conservatives under Theodore Garrett have been given a Majority in the Irish House of Commons.

Prime Minister David Cameron has given a speech on recent events in the Kingdom.

"My Fellow Irishmen. The Kingdom of Ireland is restored. After being illegally ousted over a year ago the Irish People have voted to restore it. Not by a slim majority but by a large one. By the power of democracy the people chose a new path. A path to greatness. We ahve restored traditional Ireland. Now it's time to fix this country. I would like to congratulate His Majesty, King Philip for ascending to the throne. I wish him the best of luck during his reign. My first act as Prime Minister will be to restore the economy. When President Burgsman took office at the beginning of this year the economy sat at 16.5 Trillion it now sits at 14.9 Trillion. We must fix this. Our economy must grow. The average worker makes $2,000 less than he did when Burgsman took office. Robinson was no better. Our $150,000,000,000 Trade Surplus is no more. We are $200,000,000,000 in debt. This can not go on. We must reclaim our title as the Worlds trade leader. These will be the goals of my time in office. God Save Ireland! God Save the King!"

The Coronation of King Philip is set to take place on October 1st. 42 Million are expected to be in attendance.

After both parts of the Ecclesia, the Boule and the Gerusia have approved the founding of a new colony, the preparations began. Now, the city of Naukratis is being built, with more than 100.000 settlers already on the area, and many more to come. The Corinthian Colonial Department claimed that the construction of the new city is so far going smooth. First to construct are trade ports and housing departments, then public services will follow. As the Nauktratis harbor is already half-built, trade has already begun with the nearest trade partner of Corinthos, the United Kingdoms of Shahrani.

However, news report have reached Corinthos, claiming that the area is not completely uninhabited, as tribal people have been contacted with, in Boreas-Nauktratis, the northern part of the colony. So far there was been no conflict with the tribals, but the colonisation of the territories further away from the mainland didn't begin yet. The Corinthian Marine Forces, who are currently providing security to Naukratis, are keeping the tribals away from the city, and have begun organising the eviction of tribals from future development areas.

King Ferdinand supports Emir of ISIS

His Majesty King Ferdinand of House of Borboun express support to the people of ISIS and the Emir as they fall a victim to EUrussia hegemony in the region. One way to fight them is file a case against them to stop aggression and abuse. This kind of practice must be stopped. King Ferdinand says ISIS has the right to build nuclear power plant anywhere on its land and it has the right to build nuclear weapon if it chooses to. But ISIS must face consequence for this but they have the right to. Other nation must not dictate the future of ISIS. King Ferdinand also give example of their strong case in WASC against Eurussia.

Earlier today, King Afolabi stated that, following legislation passed by the courts, the Dictatorial status of government has been dropped, in favor for a Authoritarian Democracy. His Press Secretary was quoted as saying, "The people of our nation has spoken, and our government has chosen to listen. Our workforce has started work on a parliament building, which is expected to be done within two months."
Elections are underway, and initial polls show that the Left Wing political party, which has yet to be named.

Since the outlawing of the Republican movements, a large scale riot happened within london. This has lead to military police being deployed in certain areas of the capital city, and the King refuses to leave. While this has become under control. Cardif, if a whole other story.

Cardiff had a much larger outcry of resistance to the new law. This started as a small protest, overtime this became a riot. As of lately, several bombings have been made around the city. A total death toll so far, nor has any of the names of the dead been realised. Reports indicate that Cardif is still under having mass riots and looting problems, while london has been pacified.

MP Alexander Blair becomes PM overnight

Surprising the entire kingdom, Lord Cameron was ousted as head of the Scottish Government in a swift vote initiated by the Peoples Party against the conservative party of Scottlands. This made the leader of the Labours MP Alexander Blair to become elected Prime Minister overnight as Lord Alexander Blair. This will also shock His Majesty King Ferdinand who is not expecting to have his favorite leader out in power in the Scottish parliament. It is rumored that the King is not good health and this bad news will spread in the kingdom like fire. Lord Cameron quietly exited the political scene despite bringing economic recovery and good business climate in the kingdom and he hoped for the good of the kingdom for the next leader. Is Scottlands to become a republic again? This question has risen up again when the new Prime Minister refused to accept the title LORD as given to all Prime Ministers of the King and instead address him as Sir or Prime Minister only.This is what PM Alexander Blair said after winning the vote "We have so much to change in our country. For the people and not just for the few. They say our economy is good but it is not in the long term. We have damaged friendships in other countries just to show our real power. But that is wrong. We have to make friends to become stronger and powerful and respect by the world. I promise to bring back the glory we have lost."

Months after a Scouting Government Research Report showed that an alarming number of accidents on the road with immigrants at fault are on the rise, the Senate has passed a Bill. This bill reads:

"All driving permit tests, provisional, Instructional, standard, or otherwise MUST be given in the English language or that of the Official Language of the United States of Scouting should it change in the future."

Furthermore;

"All licensed drivers who passed a test written in a secondary language MUST submit to a re-test within 90 days of the passage of this bill or face suspension of his or her license indefinitely until a re-test is taken."

While this has sparked much controversy, the Senate voted 28-4 on this matter with the Republican and National Scouting Party shown in partisanship in this matter. Eight Democratic Senators voted in alignment with the RP and NSP, however there's been some strife with the party's politics in this matter as some in the party feel like this is unlawful discrimination.
