God and Country: Reviving the Cathamian Identity

Newly elected Chancellor, Engelbert Dollfuß, has begun mobilising his cabinet for a crusade in reinvigorating national identity throughout the Catham Islands. While Dollfuß accepts that the Catham Islands must maintain its place within the Marquettien Commonwealth he rejects the idea of Catholic Cathamians submitting themselves to Orthodox-dominated Marquette. He claims that the Catham Islands needs to revive itself and recognize the greatness of its history such as its August dynasty being one of the most powerful empires in its time.


Chancellor Dollfuß has rewarded the “loyalist” Cathamian movement by announcing a reformed national constitution, ushering in the era of the Federal State of the Catham Islands. The new Federal State adorns a new national flag and anthem, both of which were used by the Cathamian Empire. Cathamian democracy has not been altered by the new constitution nor does it impede on the UK’s right to govern over the Catham Islands in the pre-defined areas.

Dollfuß’s ideas of Greater Catham can already be seen as a defining point in foreign policy of the new Federal State after the government delivered an ultimatum to the Yuktobanian Union demanding the Sächsiche-Weser be returned to the Catham Islands. The region of Sächsiche-Weser has been a subject of territorial dispute since the Catham Islands defeat in the Sächsiche-Weserine War of 1828, resulting in the region being annexed into the Yuktobanian Union. "A plan must be constructed which does not limit the Catham Islands to her present borders, but endeavours to absorb all the Hanoverian people around her." Stated the Chancellor “The Cathamians of today have a primary and basic duty - to create and organize a homogeneous Catham Islands which must consist of the entire ethnic territory on which the Hanoverians live.”

After an in-depth meeting with the Parliament and the Council of International Affairs at the College of the Ardevaincourt, the Chancellor Woolridge has released a statement in full support of the Catham Islands to help them reclaim their territory occupied by the Yuktobanian Union.

We are able to now formally decree that our nation will be willing to help out the Catham Islands in any way.

Yesterday evening, at the Ziyhar Memorial Hospital, in the capital city, Queen Beatrice finally gave birth to the heir to the throne of New Tarajan.
The first son of the Tarajani sovereigns will receive a very significant name: Conrad Sigismund Wilhelm (in memory, respectively, of Conrad III and IV, grand-father and father of King Friederick; of many Sigismunds who made the greatness and glory of the Royal House, and Wilhelm, last King before the communist revolution); following the new custom introduced by King Friederick honouring the Ajans roots of the Kingdom, the prince will also receive the Ajanic name of Jahanshah (which means "king of the world", a name belonged to many Ajanic Padishahs and Shahs during history, and which is believed to be a good-wishing sign).
The Royal House has no released any note, for the moment, while the King is spending all the time with his wife; congratulations came from all the institutions of the Kingdom, first of all the Royal Council and the Landsraad, together with all the Noble Houses.
The government announced that there will be an entire week of celebrations; fireworks already took place in the night, when the news was first released.



Crowds are on the streets of the capital city and the major cities of the Kingdom, already beginning the celebrations for this joyful event.

The celebrations will consist in many Balls, parties and banquets; a religious ceremony (the Blessing Event, as it is called in the Kingdom) in the wonderful background of the Kalihaan Temple of the Three Gods; and the most impressive military parade of the history, with the participation of troops from every State invited, for a total amount of four days.

Irish Forces faces tough fight

Another day of fighting has ended and all the land in the east is now being fought over. The east of Ravengric has been unofficially claimed by Irish forces. but the fighting is still tough and Ravengric forces have yet to surrender. But the Emperor says the fighting will not cease until the peninsula is captured. Out of 10,000 deaths today 4000 of those are Irish Forces. the Imperial Airforce has also cause alot of damage. Killing 25,000 citizens and soldiers and causing 13 Billion dollars in damage.

With Ravengrics best man fighting Irish forces and Ravengrics forces in full retreat facing Dromodians troops Articmainia's Imperial Marines push toward the capital and will be on the outskirts by tomorrow morning at 9:00am.  So far Articmainia has complete control of the skys and have complete control of the seas. However theres been tence fighting on land though losing  ground Ravengrics forces have about 12,000 men in reserve and about 7,000 t-55 tanks Compared to Articmainia Articmainia has about 5 times more men and tanks. But Ravengrics still a power full rival and will not be taken lightly. General Collin Ferdell has order an air strike on all Ravengrics bases and comand post and about 25 cruise missles from the navy to hit key positions  in the capital.

Irish Forces push westward
More of Ravengric has been captured by irish and Dromoda forces. both forces are now pushing Ravengric and Cheyenne forces toward the center and the capital of the country. The total deaths for Irish soldiers is 5500 since January 18 2014.

There is still some resistance but most soldiers have surrendered to Dromoda or Ireland. It is estimated that 8000 Irish soldiers have died, 12000 Ravengeric soldiers have died. It is unknown how many Dromoda soldiers have died but number keep coming in with deaths on both sides of the war.

While the Kingdom is preparing itself to the celebrations for the birth of Prince Conrad and for the arrival of the world leadership in Astana, a news arrives from the Grand Duchy of Casavarr.
Three brigades of the Royal Tarajan Army have been confirmed to have left their bases in Casavarr (under the SECURS Charter and many bilateral agreements, New Tarajan has a considerable amount of troops in the Grand Duchy), en route toward the borders with Newellia.
The reason for this move has been clearly stated by Minister for Foreign Affairs Van Egeland-Sondenburg in an interview: "Casavarr will be protected against any kind of aggression" he said "We will avoid that the conflict will spread outside the borders of Newellia."
And the Tarajani government is categorical over this points: "Any intrusion in the Grand Duchy of Casavarr will be seen as an act of war. The independence and sovereignty of Casavarr is not, and could never been, under question."
And to confirm this firm position, the Royal Council has authorized the sending of three nuclear submarines and a naval squadrons in the Casavarr Sea.
In theory, the government of New Tarajan has choosen a completely-neutral position in the conflict between Ravengrics (supported by the Cheyenne) and a coalition of Newellia, Dromoda and Eurussia. However, rumors from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs seems to confirm the idea that New Tarajan will not do anything in order to harm the actions of the pro-Newellia coalition, due the fact that the Royal Council is extremely concerned over the actions of Ravengrics.

Articmainia enters the capital to help Dromoda and Irish Forces.

With First division spear heading the attack on the capital 1st division realizes that their not the only ones at the capital Dromoda and Irish forces have already made their way in the capital. Their is still heavy fighting going on in the city and their is still about 6,000 Ravengrics troops and about 3,000 civilian fighters and radicals on the Ravengrics side. Artic generals estimate that fighting in the city will stop at about 7:00pm and war will be over.

NEWELLIANS IN NEED OF FOREIGN AID DUE TO DESTRUCTIVE WAR.

Upon being hit with nuclear weapons in five cities and carpet bombed with non-nuclear weapons, The Newellian economy is barely functioning and communications have broken down. The Newellian people are questioning sovereignty at this time and are pleading to the world to send in troops and aid in the Newellian mainland. The emperor of Newellia is underground in what used to be Legacy. Radiation levels have already subsided, but a localized nuclear winter is imminent with a temperature drop of 10 degrees expected in the mainland and surrounding territories.

Ireland to hold Peace Conference
After the surrender of Ravengric and Cheyenne forces. The United Newellain Federation has requested foreign aid. To discuss a Peace Treaty, the dissolving of Ravengric, and foreign Aid a Peace Conference is to be held in Dublin,Ireland. It is asked that all nations who participated in the war,participate in this conference.
