The Eurasian Coastal Defense Directorate, responsible for protection of Europe and Asia's Maritime borders, has released a statement saying:

Due to the recent volcanic eruption in the Newellian nation, we warn all Eurasian sailing vessels to stay in port and to avoid sailing near Newellia or on the eastern side of Eurasia.

The CDD also issues a directive banning vessels under size IV (100 feet long) from sailing on the open ocean, and has issues arrest warrants for sailors found operating such vehicles on the ocean.

By the invitation of Her Majesty, Queen Marina Victoria of Aloia, Their Imperial Majesties, Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko arrived in San Francisco for an official State Visit to the Kingdom of Aloia. Queen Marina Victoria herself personally welcomed the Eurussian monarchs upon their arrival with pomp and pageantry. EU INKS PACT WITH CHERNARUSIA

EURUSSIA SHUTS DOWN AIRSPACE

Despite the non-stop flights of military planes in and out of Northern Newellia to evacuate citizens to temporary homes in the Duchies of Primorsky and Ossetia, the Eurussian Emergency Management Agency announced that it has shut down the territorial airspace over the Duchy of Northern Newellia due to the spreading volcanic ash fall that have become extremely dangerous for any aircraft. Thus, the Eurussian Air Force has cancelled all emergency flights in the duchy leaving the Eurussian Navy to solely perform evacuation efforts.

Not only has the Eruption spewed ash into the air,but it has also stirred up the molten below the surface. Seismic activity has increased significantly in Texania since the Mt.Arlington eruption,causing many small eruptions from some volcanoes. Earthquakes have been reported in places where seismic activity was never recorded before. One minor earthquake caused an apartment building to collapse,killing 3. In fact, some "extinct" volcanoes have been reported to have awoken. One of these is Mt.Zecowai , which's last eruption was 70,000 years ago. Oil Spill

At 3:40 A.M. this morning, a series of explosions went off in the Lagos Drilling Platform in Chernogorsk Bay, causing the station to begin leaking oil throughout the water. It is estimated it has leaked 300 barrels of oil since the disaster struck 18 hours ago. The line carrying the oil up from the sea floor has ruptured and is the cause of the oil escaping. Personnel on the station have tried to stop the pump, but it is unresponsive, the officials say the only solution now is to wait for the fuel to run out.

The 60 Personnel on the rig have reported no deaths but 2 injuries from the initial blast. There haven't been any reports of widespread fires and crewmen are trying to deter the flames away from the oil storage. The oil has been heading South x Southwest towards the coasts of Western Chernarusia and Easter Catham, Catham is advised to take what precautions are necessary.

After Aloia, His Highness, Andrei Delencourt, proceed with the next step of his state voyage around the world. In the morning of yesterday His Highness arrived in Eurussia, one of the major partner of Antanares in the WA. At the airport, the antanaresian delegation was celebrated with the full military honors and welcomed in Eurussia by His Imperial Majesty, Crown Prince Naruhito. After, His Highness arrived in Kremlin, where he was received from His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Akihito and his wife, Empress Michiko. The two leaders gathered into a personal audicience for talk about some important topics for the two nations. After the audience, in the Kremlin was organized a State Banquet in honor of His Highness Andrei and of the antanaresian delegation.
Today His Highness started the day with a meeting with Chancellor Hilary Clinton, in the White House, for some bilateral talks about some new treaty between the two countries. After the personal meeting, the delegation encountered the Cabinet of Eurussia and during a press conference with the Chancellor herself, the Prince announced and signed a new bilateral treaty about the cooperation for the join research and develop of military equipment. The analyst, in the past days, announced the possibility of a new treaty between the two nations, considering the good relationship between the two country. According to voices from the delegation, also Antanares received a formal invitation to join the NATO, one of the biggest organisation in the World Alliance, but, for some unknown reason to us, the Prince declined the invitation.

In the next day, His Highness, with His Imperial Majesty Naruhito, will do a tour of the capital city of Eurussia, Moscow, according to the intention of the leader of Antanares to use his state voyages for improve his knowledge of foreign countries. The first step of the Moscow's tour will be the Moscow Museum, the biggest of Eurussia, with a large collection of historical and natural finds. After, the Prince will go the Moscow University and do a little speech to the College of Architecture, where he will meet members of the Eurussian Architecture Association. In the Theater of the University, His Highness and the delegation will observe the "The evolution of two nations", a play dedicated to the history of the diplomacy between Eurussia and Antanares. After the end of the tour, His Highness will return in the Kremlin for a private luncheon with the Royal Family before his departure for the next step of his voyage.

Foreign Minister Olivier LeBlanc speaks out against Planita's aggression.

Besançon, Marquette of Pacific (MINA) -- Amid the rising tensions between the Empire of Great Eurussia and the Socialist Union of Planita, the Marquetien government has felt inclined to voice its support for its close ally, Eurussia. Foreign Minister Olivier LeBlanc spoke this morning at a press conference, and voiced his full support for the Eurussian government's preparations for war against Planita.

Marquetien barges help disperse flames.

Köln, the Catham Islands (MINA) -- The United Kingdom of Greater Marquette has pledged to aid those who have been effected by the oil spill in the Chernogarsk bay, and have deployed ships to help disperse the flames on the oil rigs in the bay.

Volunteers have already begun the cleanup process in the bay, and are hard at work at removing the oil from the sea before it can have any long-term consequences on the native wildlife of the region, but such effects are starting to look imminent.
