(Rejected) Possible Olympic Games

1.We will create an Olympic Games commitee.
Ignore everything below,but we might use these as reference.
1.One Olympic game would be held every year.
2.Every Olympic game would be 7 days long,with 4 events per day.
3.Nations entering must be at peace.
4.Nations would submit cities to be selected,and every member would vote on a city,but they can't vote on their own city.
5.A nation can send no more than 5 citizens per 1,000,000 , with certain exceptions, such as total population under 1,000,000.(To keep numbers logical)
6.nations judging the participants must not be biased.
7.Judges can't judge athletes from their home country.
8.The games would alternate beetween summer and winter.

1 Kilometer Race
100 Meter Swim
500 Meter Swim
Track:
2 Kilometer Race
1000 Meter Dash
200 Meter Dash
100 Meter Dash
Archery:
70 Meter (Men)

Football (Non-American)
Rowing:
1 Kilometer (1 Person)
5 Kilometer (1 Person)
10 Kilometer ( 5 Person team)
20 Kilometer ( 5 Person team)
Weightlifting:
100 Kilogram(Men)
80 Kilogram (Men)
80 Kilogram (Women)
60 Kilogram (Women)

Why don't you? It's your idea and your proposal. You should start with a set of rules as in who organizes it, how we choose the host nation, how the whole games look like and so on.

Sorry Texania, but this is a legislative body. You could propose a law for the formation of an Olympic Committee, but you must prepare a law text. Thanks.

I like the idea but I dont think this is the place to do it. Olympics are usually a Committee separate from the Government.

I repeat, this is a parliament, we enact laws. I think the best is a bill to propose the formation of an Olympic Game Committee, proposing in the bill the power of the committee and who will form it. After the approval, prepare a forum in the organisation for the World Alliance Olympic Games Committee.

I second the motion. It is best to determine the powers of the WA Olympic Committee and their relationship with national olympic committees and left them craft the details of the games itself.
