New-Zealand is in need of some drastic action to mend this economy before we do in fact reach a true economic collapse. The fundamentals behind the NZ economic collapse is quite simple, and is as follows : The New-Zealand Government (A Economically Superior Socialist Super Power) decided to attempt to liberalize the NZ economy and slowly drop taxes. This would mean that the NZ government would have to carefully and slowly privatize public assets and encourage private enterprises, this is a very delicate process that left the NZ economy in a very vulnerable state until the transition was complete. Just as NZ gets started on this transition ,however, Delta 5 goes dark and the Reaper attack begins. The NZ Economy (Now in a vulnerable state) was simply knocked down by the strains of war. This sparked NZ's first dip recession. Now that the major reaper threat is defeated the NZ Economy has stabilized, but the stabilized point is not one that NZ is happy with. The Loss of trade with Delta 5 and the start of war dragged NZ Economy down, then USS joined the war (Denting Their Economy Aswell) which caused a loss of trade which dragged the NZ Economy down even more subsequently The Loss of Trade with NZ dragged the USS Economy further down causing both the economies to take a small but substantial tumble.

Now that you understand just how the NZ economy collapsed, it is time to explain just how NZ can go about fixing this. We have 5 Options :
Option 1 : Raise Taxes, Create New Public Enterprises and push further into socialism
Option 2 : Cut Taxes Slowly, Slowly Liberalize the Market and push into Centre-Left Policies
Option 3 : Cut Taxes, Privatise Assets, Push into Pure Capitalism
Option 4 : Austerity Measures and Use saved money on business subsidization
Option 5 : Leave the Economy as it is and wait for the market to hopefully start growing again.

Economists and Political Analysts recommend that NZ choose option 2, whilst citizens are evenly split between option 5 and 2. The Government is considering Option 1, 2 or 5. NZ government has decided to take on advice from other G20 Nations, but it is safe to assume that the NZ Government will choose option 2 as that is what all our sources indicate.

Eurussia has published the final update of election tally hours before the election of the Second Security Council concludes on the 28th of February at 24:00 GMT. The tally showed the divisive rankings of different nations aiming to reach the contested top six.

On the other hand, rumors have been spreading that the government has been busy carefully handling election related concerns that might cause shock to the diplomatic community.

"Hello. I am announcing a bold new change in our Districts. Effective in June, shortly after the election, the maps of Unovia will be changed. The 10 Districts will be carved into states. We are still working out the details of what the states will look like, but it will be a different system. The 16 Colonies will also be carved into states. We realize that this will change the voting blocks a bit. Therefore, we will also be reanalyzing the voting blocks in the new states that are to be created. This system will change only the Presidential elections as we see it. It will also change the electoral votes in each District, providing different numbers of electors. The June change date means that the new system will go into effect at the beginning of the 2014 Presidential Election."

However, the delegates of four participating member states have been disqualified due to election fraud and technicalities which sent shockwave to the international community since the nations involved are powerful and influential nations namely New Zealand, Newasia, Browera and Galesatum.

Furthermore, the Foreign Ministry has issued the following statement:

After thorough of votes, it was found out that "New Zealand" & "Newasia" and "Browera" & "Galesatum" are controlled by a single individual respectively.

Therefore, they are hereby disqualified and all their votes are hereby nullified.
They are also banned in participating in the elections unless vindicated by Court.

The Eurussian Government, as responsible member of the international community and the sole authority of elections in the World Alliance, welcomes any legal challenge to this decision and we are willing to provide the evidences only in the Court of Justice but we clarify that we cannot assure any reinstatements, if ever the nations concerned are vindicated since by rules, these results are final and executory.

On the other hand, the ministry has already sent its congratulatory message to the winning member states of the World Alliance Second Security Council.

As Eurussia bravely faces three legal battles before the WA Court of Justice, it has been very firm on its stance on its decision about the recent Security Council Election that brought shock to the international community.

On the other hand, the Director for World Alliance Affairs has accepted an interview:

Is it your plan to disable NZ, NW, BR and GS from sitting in the Security Council?

"Absolutely not. And if so, for what? We all enjoy strong diplomatic ties."

Well, do you believe that your government has the authority?

"On what? If that is about the election issue, I have no comment. Our government, as everyone knows, is actively participating in the proceedings at the Court."

Okay. Let us not talk about it. Now, can you share with us what happened?

"Well, as much as possible we shouldn't be talking about this because the proceedings are on-going but I will share with everyone the dilemma our office have to face during the final hours of the the recent election. Believe me, it is horrifying.

But for the sake of protecting the integrity of our great country in the midst of the unfounded accusations of different governments that we are doing this, we are doing that, I will set the record straight for everybody's knowledge. So, there we are, performing our usual duty of handling the elections again. Take note, again!

Okay then, we publicly announced the opening of elections of the Second Security Council. Since there is no law on international elections, our nation, as the founder of the region, still did its part, administered the elections for the hundredth time. Actually, we are expecting the First Security Council to pass a law about elections but to our disappointment, there has been none again. So, after the announcement, we then received the applications for candidacy of various representatives from different countries in the region. From there, we also received the votes as well, we tally it and then issue every update now and then. Everything has went smoothly.

But! As we prepare for publication the final update of the election tally, few hours before the election concludes, our intelligence team has notified us to stop the publication. So from there, we were surprised! The reporters are already waiting but we have no choice but to listen to our intelligence officers, so have reasoned out to the reports. And that is where the rumors have spread like fire to the rest of the world that something was wrong.

They have actually found voting irregularities from different countries. So we were shocked because that was the first time we have encountered such specially in a global election! Although this has happened, we immediately consulted different government ministries for consultation and to verify all the irregularities and evidences carefully kept by our intelligence team. Remember, it was few hours before the election concludes!

From there, since the evidences were found credible, we have to decide whether to raise it publicly or privately. And at the same time, we are running out of time. If we went public, the election will be prolonged and we will miss the constitutional requirement that the new council must be convened on the first day of the succeeding month.

So, from there, we decided to resolve the issues privately and secretly. We have sent top secret telegrams to the governments of New Zealand, Newasia, Browera, and Galesatum. Although patiently waiting for their responses, we faced the real dilemma. The election will conclude in a few hours! Hours!

Luckily, we have received responses from the New Zealand Government and everything has went smoothly and as we almost resolve the issues, the election irregularity from New Zealand has deep connections to the irregularities from Newasia which we have never received any response until at this moment. So, we told New Zealand that if we receive no explanation from the Newasian Government, we are apologizing to them at that time, that we will have to do the drastic thing and we never disclosed what was that.

So, it is only from New Zealand we received a good responses but the time is up and we have to announce the official results! Our office have been heavily debating on what to do. Some said that we should never do anything and just leave it as it. But as the head, I said no. It is our duty to produce a credible election so the other side won, we stripped all involved nations from the rankings and agreed to face legal consequences later on.

Here we are now. Facing all these legal battles ready to show the evidences we have."

I'm sorry to hear that. Do you think you did the best thing to do?

"Yes. Definitely. Because we believe that if we haven't resolved the issue and solve them after the announcement, it will be very hurtful for other nations to be removed from the Security Council, if the Court finds the irregularity acceptable, they have to be replaced in the face of the world. Instead we did the latter, we removed them from the official results and later on just prove the irregularities on the Court to be not credible and be vindicated. But you know what, in this decision, our great country has to face the humiliation instead of the four."

Do you expect to defeat all the prosecuting nations?

"We have made it clear that we are not against any particular country since we do not have any enemy nation. We have uphold the rule of law and we expect the Court to uphold the rule of law as well. We even invited all nations involved to get involved in the Court to resolve all the issues transparently. We should all comply and follow the due process."

Either a growing storm or a beacon of light is right on the horizon of the World Alliance.
