Since the failure of the Regional Olympic Games, Aloian and Genolian athletes have been working with Aloian politicians and leaders to create a replacement event. The result is the SW9 Games, a sporting event hosted by the Aloian SW9 Commission, formerly the Aloian Olympic Committee. The Aloian SW9 Committee has invited 9 - Aloia, Antanares, New Tarajan, North Rebordja, Rebordja, San Andreas, Post-Modern Techno Shamans, Shambhala Sangha, and Shirouma - to the games. All 9 nations are nations of the Southwest Continent, know to Aloians as Mnemosyne. SW9 stands for SouthWest 9, for the 9 nations of the Southwest Continent.

The first SW9 Games will be the Summer Games to be held in Port Royale next summer. Organizers hope this will inspire a worldwide effort to reinstate the Regional Olympics and other continents to establish their own Games.

Though these games are a good substitute for the time being, most Aloians and Genolians would love to see a return for the Regional Olympic Games and the Aloian government has said they will get to work discussing a reestablishment for the Olympics with other nations.
