Artite condemns Korean Nuclear Missile Launch

In what seemed like an act of defiance to the WA sanctions on the Koreans, The D.P.R.K has launched their first missile prompting the Imperial Air Force to activate counter measures. Anti-missile batteries are being set up all around the country as the threat of nuclear attack from the Koreans has got the Empire worried. Imperial Troops in Xolox have been ordered to begin construction of nuclear bunkers in the event that Imperial Troops over seas are targeted by the enemy. Ina public announcement to the Empire and her allies, Emperor Constantine condemned the nuclear test and called Korea a "breeding ground for heretics and the Devil's spawn". Artite has begun to activate their own nuclear ICBM installations in the case that Korea decides to attack first, or even China China for that matter. Nuclear Ballistic Submarines have been deployed to undisclosed seas and are operating in complete darkness. Their only goal is to watch the Koreans and Chinese and in the event of a nuclear launch on Artite are to strike back with their own arsenal at the aggressor. The Emperor has assured the enemies of the Empire that Mutually Assured Destruction will happen if Artite is attacked with nuclear missiles. As such Artite has aimed its non-nuclear ICBMs at China China and missile strikes will commence on the country in twelve hours. Artite does not believe in a cease fire during peace talks and believes it is easier to talk to an enemy with a fire lit under them.

New Rhodinian Princess(?) Released! Sources Claim "It Went Better then Expected"!

Junius Maximus III let Livia loose from her cryogenic state yesterday and has been introducing her to the nation of New Rhodinia for the first time. He claims that there was a small disruption upon release, but nothing to worry about as she has quickly understood the situation. She now resides in the Emperor's palace in New Ostia.

We had an opportunity to speak with Octavia Seneca, excavation team Epoch's supervisor (as they have now come to call themselves).

"She's fully aware that the Rhodinia she knew no longer exists. She also shares the same opinion regarding healthcare, income equality and a wide range of other areas. In fact, you could say she's almost a Junius Maximus IV."

While in negotiations with the Chinese in Eurussia, Artite has commenced missile strikes against the People's Republic of China China. The main target for this barrage is Beijing and other military and government institutions around China China. The Imperial Navy have begun an air strike barrage while in the Sea of Artite. Among these missiles are high explosive, bunker busters, and incendiary war heads. The objective is to cause mass chaos while dealing devastating blows to the Chinese. Counter measures have been put in place against China China's expected response of launching nuclear missiles. However, with the threat of nuclear war very minimal their is still a sense of heightened readiness in the event that Artite is struck by nuclear warheads delivered from the Chinese. Imperial ground troops are heading towards major ports in the state and will be disembarking with in the next forty eight hours, their destination is unknown but most can guess where they will be heading.

After the military strikes between Artite and China China, the United Kingdoms of Apepistan have begun mobilizing their navy, namely, Carrier Strike Group 7 "Ketzal". The CSG consists an Aircraft Carrier, 7 Destroyers and 2 Cruisers. CSG-7 Ketzal is moving towards the Artite sea, where "they'll be present to help Artite defend her citizens against China China", while the rest of the navy remained in the Apepistan sea, ready for mobilisation.
Furthermore, the United Kingdoms of Apepistan have also taken counter-nuclear measurements, and several battalions of the United Army are grouping at major navy ports.

Ahet-Apep, leader and supreme commander of Apepistan is yet to declare the state of war officially, which is, traditionally, presenting a bloody sword to the people during a military parade in Konzbator.

MONUMENT TO AHET-APEP I

A 40 meter tall steel statue of Ahet-Apep I, first Khan and founder of Apepistan was finally revealed to the public. The statue stands on the Konzian plains, about 4,5 km away from the Royal Palace, and 10 km from the centre of the capital city of Konzbator.

Emperor John Wallace flies to the Union of Empires Summit hosted by Artite.

As escalations continue to grow at an all time high between Artite and Wirbanskia Emperor John Wallace was invited to the Union of Empires summit hosted by Artite. As the two supreme Emperors of their Empires telegrammed each other this will be the first time they have ever met in person! Emperor John Wallace will also be meeting a leader from the Empire of Ebsotz Emperor John Wallace will also start good relations with that leader as well. But the goal of the meeting is to discuss the threats and dangers of the Empire of Wirbanskia and find a solution on how to deal with such a threat.

Yeltsin take Charge

Moskva(RTV):After the death of Mikhail Gorbachev(the 8th leader of the Empire of Russia), Mr.Boris Yeltsin has been sworn in as the 9th Supreme Leader of Russia. Mr. Yeltsin comes into power over a very unstable country. But he has promised that Russia will do nothing but survive and prosper. Here is what the Supreme Leader had to say.

"Russia! For nearly 100 years the Communist Party has been in charge. When we took charge our nation was poor and severely under developed.But with wise decision making and government control of everything we have prospered.But people wish to destroy the system our forefathers have spent life times developing. They seek to establish a democracy. We can not let this happen. Democracy will only destroy this nation. While I am in power, Democracy will be crushed. Democracy would corrupt the government that is of the people. Under my leadership Russia will expand its borders. We will make allies. And we will spread Socialism across this planet. We are not radicals. We are liberators. But Russia still needs to develop. We need more commerce, we need to lower the unemployment rate. We need to raise the average income, and lower the taxes. We need to put everyone in a home. Creating a true classless society. We need better education. We need a higher standard of living. Russia needs many things. And these things I promise will happen."

Gorbachev laid to rest

The Russian nation is in mourning today after the Supreme Leader, Gorbachev, died two weeks ago. The man who saved the Communist Party from downfall from power has been laid to rest. He was greatly loved by the people of the nation for stabilizing an unstable government and for his isolationist policy. But times are changing and Russia must look towards the future.

Shlask Begins Disarmament of Nuclear Missiles  



Pevnigrad (SNN): Today our leader, Dmitry Burov announced that the government will now begin re-purposing our ICBMs with more conventional explosive warheads, and discussed their use for a possible space program. He later revealed that the the uranium will be used in Shlask's first nuclear reactor. It is still to be seen weather the reactor will be built or not, or if anything will come out of this discussion of a space program, but the citizens of Shlask have high hopes for the future.

Loxan scientists, with help from their Eurussian counterparts in the Joint Science Center in Glasgow, have perfected the Ebola vaccine. While it unfortunately can't cure currently infected people, it will prevent the spread of the disease to uninfected people. Mass production of the vaccine has begun in Xolox for its own citizens and the citizens of Muchos Estados Unidos. A sample of the vaccine has been shipped to all countries worldwide, aside from China China and Korreaa, who are currently embargoed by the Loxan government, so those governments can begin producing it for their own citizens.


The Grand Emperor died of old age, at 78 years old, during his flight home from Rofinta to Xarax. As according to Loxan tradition, his body was burned privately by his oldest living son. Leaving a body or grave to mourn or grieve over is seen as dishonorable and weak. Loxan culture promotes remembering people as they were in their prime, which is why portraits of weak or aging Loxan are virtually nonexistent.

Grand Emperor Charles Robert Targaryen Crowned

The day following his father's death and cremation, Grand Emperor Charles was crowned. He is his father's son and the idol of his citizens. While his abilities for diplomacy and in wartime, his strategy, are unquestioned, citizens wonder if the thirty-year-old is ready for the stress of ruling an empire. Regardless, the overwhelming grief of the citizens is somewhat offset by the their adoration for their new ruler.

On October 25th, 2014, the Holy Empire of Artite has signed the treaty of friendship between the dwellers of the world alliance. It ended with a total of 400 million dollars paid to Ebsotz, due to the contamination of the Osijev Canal. This is the scene of the canal after the treaty. This was the E Sector. Gladly it is already de-contaminated.

Since peace was established between the warring nations of the Lion's War, Emperor Constantine has spoken out against the militaristic nature of the Holy Church of Artite. Their calls for numerous Holy Crusades and Inquisitions has caused some concern in the World Alliance and Artite is the center of attention. While not being one of the most notorious for human rights violations Artite has some. the constant wars in the east of the Empire against Heretics of all religions has put a huge strain on the economy and moral of the people. Emperor Constantine stated that;

"If the Church sees fit that they must have its own standing army then they should question their own religion. Catholicism is suppose to be a peaceful religion, and religion and war do not mix. It is like oil and water, the two simply do not go together. I order the Pope of the Holy Artitian Church to dissolve the Inquisitors and for the merging of the V.O.K.G into the military and be separate from the Church. Religion should be separate from the military all together and now I am doing what no other person in my family could do."

Protests against the Church and Constantine have erupted all over the country, some protests ending in fire fights between anti-riot police units and rioters themselves. Several hangings have been reported around the country by Pro-Church activists. Those who are Pro-Imperial are advised to keep in doors and if need be not travel alone.

Emperor Constantine has recalled the Imperial Guard Units fighting on the Eastern Front and has called a meeting with the leaders of the Heretic fighters. There will be an official end to this rebellion that was caused by the Church. There will soon be religious freedom in Artite; to a certain extent of course.

We have finally, with a ton of surplus money, started medical research on ebola. It started rocky at first, but we have come on the brink of a medical breakthrough. We took some bowel, saliva, and blood samples of a person with ebola. We were shocked. According to the research we have conducted earlier in the month, the ebola virus from September had a different DNA makeup than the one today. The DNA format has made it more simple for us to help find a cure. Our worst nightmare is for it to mutate. When we find a cure, we will send it to all nations. We have a feeling it may be really hard to distribute to the WA though, due to safety reasons.

Is New Rhodinia Truly Roman? Religious Zealots Revive Ancient Question!


Upon hearing news of the civil war in Artite, a previously obscure religious group known as the "Children of Jupiter" has received monstrous backing from the people of New Rhodinia, calling for the adoption of classic Roman Paganism as the nation's unofficial religion.

Before this movement, Junius Maximus III had been regarded at one point as a holy figure and thus, worshiped by a large number of citizens. No major religious practices or laws were passed up to now as religion played a very minute role in the day-to-day legislative basis.

"We venerate almost everything about our ancestors," the emperor stated in an interview, "and religion is no exception to that. But there were extreme rituals that were involved with Paganism: live sacrifices and other violent acts in order to appease the gods. I am considering it as of now, but if we do end up accepting it, there will have to be some major modernized retrofits."

We later spoke with recent heir to the throne Livia for her thoughts. "It's definitely something to ponder. The gods actually proved they were there back then, so why deny them now? Obviously, you wouldn't integrate them with how the country is directly run, but when the going gets tough, you need something or someone to look to when no one else will."

We attempted to ask if Livia had been officially adopted into the Maximus family, but she declined to comment.

Earlier today Imperial Guardsmen of the 1st and 8th Imperial Guard Regiments stormed the Holy Church of Artite and captured the Grand Bishop of Saint Michael, Arch Bishop of Saint Andrew and the Pope in a snatch and grab operation. Inquisitors stationed around the country have begun engaging Imperial Guardsmen and Pro-Imperial militias in the country side and small towns around Rofinta, clear battle lines have been drawn and the Pro Imperial East fights for the Imperial Family while the Pro-Church West fights alongside the Holy Church and the Inquisitors. Most of the military has sided with the Pro-Imperial forces and have quickly invaded the West now called the Holy Sanctuary of Artite while the East still retains the title of Holy Empire of Artite. The West has made pleas to the international community for aid to fight against the heretics in the east however no responses have come and with all of the Imperial Navy fighting against the Church, the Empire is blockaded. Fears have arisen though as the Inquisitors alongside Vatican Knights have captured a nuclear installation outside of Cromarty in the western provinces of Artite. Current numbers are as follows for the strength of each side fighting in this war.

The Pagan and Satanic, Freeland of Artite...Has just under twenty thousand fighters in their ranks, however a cease fire has been issued between the Empire and these "freedom" fighters, as the Emperor has promised to relax laws on religious freedom

The Holy Empire of Artite has just under eight million Imperial Troops and Sailors in its ranks, on top of that number over two million Pro-Imperial militiamen have joined the ranks to fight alongside the Emperor's forces. The Holy Empire also has complete control and loyalty of the Navy who have blockaded the entirety of the Empire's coast.

The Holy Sanctuary of Artite, has just under two million Imperial Troops under their command, with ten thousand Inquisitors(The Pope's Personal Guard and the Church's private army), and 2,000 Vatican Knights of the Vatican Order of the Knights of God. The H.S.A have over three million Pro-Church militiamen also under their command and the majority of the Imperial Air Force. The Capital of the Holy Sanctuary of Artite is Saint Michael one of the most religious and Holy of cities in The Empire.

The new border of Artite split Rockview in two and travels in a relatively straight line north and south. (see factbook for detailed map of Artite)
