On Saturday, The Imperial Tokugawan government announced the establishment of the South Shirouma Sea Air Defense Identification Zone . It is a necessary measure for Imperial Tokugawa which is also called as a Tokugawa Sea to protect its state sovereignty and territorial and airspace security. It is conducive to maintaining flying safety in international airspace, and is in line with international laws and conventions. The announcement of the South Shirouma Sea ADIZ has earned understanding and recognition from an increasing number of countries and peoples, but misunderstandings or even distortions also exist. Representing the Imperial Tokugawan Defense Ministry, I make some interpretations on some issues that the outside world is concerned about.

The government has pushed through a controversial bill that has essentially made the nation a cash-free state. In a bid to crush corruption, tax evasion and the low level black market once and for all the government is removing the cash element from the nation altogether, digitalising the entire currency into the banking system while the reserve bank will maintain the entire physical cash reserves in undisclosed high security locations. The black market is also expected to take a substantial hit due to this bill, but the government emphasised that it would only really affect the low level market, as all high level dealing would surely manage to find another method to transfer funds without it being obvious to the banks, however, the Police are already tasked with dealing with these high level dealers through other methods. 

While some are calling this move oppressive, and an invasion of privacy, the vast majority of the population have welcomed the bill as it ensures a "fair go" policy for all, especially as the country heads to a more economically favoured future by ensuring that no, or near to none, people are able to exploit the many for private gain either through corruption or tax evasion etc.

4 Texanian Calhuli class Destroyers have been stationed 2km from Articmainian troop positions. They have denied any ships from entering the area, and have successfully blocked out articmainian troops from supplies. A 50 Km No-fly zone has been established in the general area of the troops, and Texanian officials have announced that they will shoot down any foreign planes flying.

We will not tolerate the Articmainian landing on texanian soil. We will treat it as an invasion, and we will respond to it as such.

Reports have it that an undisclosed amount of texanian troops are stationed beside the articmainians.

In other news, Regornian Supreme Leader, Fidiel Castroni, has recently been captured by  The "Lightning Fire" Second Special forces unit led by Christopher De La Guenci. He, as well as a number of top level officials, are being transported to Dallas by air. The Regornian command structure is expected to fall apart any day now. Some reports have it that the rebels are fleeing eastward to meet up with Articmainian forces, and some think they wish to join to Articmainian armed forces.

Articmainian fights off block aid and continues air battle.

Today Articmainia has faced a threat from 4 Texanian Calhuli class Destroyers. In response 6th fleet has sent 2 Numenburg class stealth War ships and 2 Kaiser class super Destroyers to elimnate or push back the Texainian Calhuli class Destroyers. It was a tough battle and 1 Kaiser class Destroyer was so badly hit that it had to retreat to the South Side colony and 1 Texainian ship destroyed and the other 2 was badly damaged and retreated. The last one is still fighting on but is currently being bombarded by the other Kaiser class Super Destroyer followed by the 2 stealth ships.







While the sea battle comes to a slow end the air battle continues as the 711 squadron leads the way and tries to knock out Texainian air supremacy. The only real bad thing that has happened is that the one of the Nokia class carriers has been badly hit by Texainian Bombers but is still operational. It seems the air battle will drag on for days with no end However Articmainian Imperial Marines have reached regordian air strip and is willing to take it and make it base of operations in that region.

The reason behind the decision has been put down to the economic boom of New-Zealand, alongside it's shift to a capitalist economic model, finally aligning itself in a comprisable position with the colonies. The colonial government will hereforth be disbanded and reassembled on a state government bases, rather than as a federal entity. The new federal entity will be taken up by the current NZ Government, but a reshuffle election will be held in a few months to finalise the new Social Democracy federal government, made up of 9 states (8 Colonies and 1 mainland). As of now, political analysts state that the federal election will be a close one, as almost all the colonies are assured to lean to the right, providing tough competition for the mainland left, who are guaranteed to form the NZ State Government. However, the question that remains is if the long standing left will win with enough of a margin to overcome the multiple losses on the colonial front.

Following the recent tensions and fights in Regornia between Texania and Articmania, the Tarajani government has released a note, where it calls "for the immediate return to calm. The enemies are the Regornian terrorists, and nobody else."
The Royal Council also condemned "any attempt to take the occasion of this revolt to overcome the legitimate possession of Regornia by the Texanian government. New Tarajan will always recognize Texania, and only Texania, as the legitimate governor of that land."
The note concluded by lauding "the attempts to mediate between Texania and Articmaina" made by the Eurussian government, due to sources of the Articmainian authorities.

The recent discussions about the creation of an ADIZ by the Tokugawa government already demonstrated a friendly attitude by the Tarajani government toward its neighbor. Although New Tarajan was the only country really threatened by such a measure (due the proximity of Meisjegronden to the borders of the ADIZ, which would have literally covered the capital city of Groenestadt), Astana has diplomatically convinced the Tokugawa government to withdraw from its initial intention. A move which demonstrated on one side the attitude of Astana not to officially endanger the authority of its neighbor (by publicly challenging it), and the good intentions of Tokugawa on the other.
And, as a result, today in Astana the Prime Minister of Tokugawa, Junichiro Koizumi, has been welcomed by Prime Minister Van Sondenburg-Sorenberg in his first official visit to Astana.
After a Banquet offered by the Landsraad (King Friederick and Queen Beatrice are still in Paris for the funerals of Lady Oriane VI), the two Prime Ministers had the occasion to hold extensive bilateral talks.
The issues on the table were many: from cooperation in the field of fight against crime and intelligence, to the much more relevant problems of the definition of the borders between Meisjegronden and tjhe Meitegara Administrative Region.
The results have been incredible: New Tarajan and Tokugawa signed a Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation, which officially resolves every possible issue about the borders and territorial waters; an issue definitively resolved also through the establishment of a Free Trade Zone (FTZ) between the two countries. This last agreement will be submitted as soon as possible also to the Diet and the government in Groenestadt for approval.
"This is a great day for our two countries" commented Prime Minister Van Sondenburg-Sorenberg: "Here, today, we are inaugurating a new era of good and friendly relations between New Tarajan and Tokugawa."
Rumors from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also talk about the offer, made by the Tarajani government, to send the young Emperor of Tokugawa in New Tarajan, to receive high-standard education in the many, prestigious educational institutions of the Kingdom.

The recent evolutions of the Tarajani political picture, particularly after the arrival into the Landsraad of the first representatives of Meisjegronden, unavoidably are leading to a new step for changing.
A confirmation of this comes directly from Prime Minister Van Sondenburg-Sorenberg. As Prime Minister Van Sondenburg-Sorenberg announced, the return of the Royal Family from Paris really marked a new step in the history of New Tarajan. And not only.
Today, during a joint meeting of the Royal Council, the Landsraad and the Royal Diet, King Friederick and the Prime Minister announced the birth of a new political organization.
"It is with a deep emotion, and a deep feeling of the importance of this historical moment" said PM Van Sondenburg-Sorenberg: "That I declare officially the birth of the Empire."
The new creation, with the official name of Empire of Tarajan and the Outer Territories, will be composed by the Kingdom of New Tarajan (which will keep a prominent role, as seat of all the imperial institutions), the Landgraviate of Sdudeti-Karabak, the Principality of North Ajania (the two so-called Brother States), and all the colonial territories of New Tarajan, first of all Meisjegronden, which has been proclaimed Grand Duchy, and the two Space Colonies (Jahan and Shalimar).
"The new reform has one, simple goal" said the King: "To give to all the Tarajani people around the world a stable, definitive political organization. From today, all the Tarajani people will act as a true unity. I am honored to be the first sovereign of this new Empire."
The Landsraad (now renamed as Imperial Landsraad) will become the most important legislative body of the Empire, keeping the role it previously had in the Kingdom, now extended to all the other members. Representatives of the aristocracy of all the Imperial States will have a seat in the Landsraad (which will probably have a new seat too). The Royal Council, the government of New Tarajan, will be renamed as Imperial Council, with a complete authority over the Kingdom, and the authority to give guidelines to the governments of every single Imperial State (however, these governments will keep a large autonomy in many domestic areas).
The military forces of the Imperial States will be merged, giving the birth to the Imperial Armed Forces (although every single State will keep a National Guard with military functions, much similar to what already happened inside the Kingdom of New Tarajan).

The event has been welcomed with huge celebrations all over New Tarajan and the other, new Imperial States. Fireworks in Astana, Van Janusekstadt, Shahrazad and Groenestadt, military parades and every kind of celebration also on board the Space Colonies Jahan and Shalimar.


Together with the announcement of the Empire, also comes a new announcement by the new Imperial Council: New Tarajan and Antanares, indeed, proclaimed the beginning of third phase of the Orbital Solar Array Project. With the completion of the first part of the solar array departing from the Tarajani Space Station Copernicus, the Project is now entering its final steps: "Soon, the OSAP will become operative." commented a spokesperson of the Ministry of Space.

In the wake of the celebrations for the birth of the Empire and the new results from the cooperation with Antanares, Prime Minister Van Sondenburg-Sorenberg also took the occasion, speaking in front of the Landsraad about the recent developments in foreign policy.
Particularly, the Prime Minister told about the recent rumors spread by Eurussian diplomats.
"I can confirm without any problem that the Tarajani government asked for a meeting between His Majesty and Emperor Akihito." said the PM: "It was a great wish of His Majesty to meet the Eurussian sovereign, talking face to face with him. We were all surprised by hearing that their Head of State felt not able to hold such a meeting."
Also King Friederick, in a small note during his speech, expressed his hope that "positive developments will resume soon" in the relations between the two countries, when the Eurussian government "will feel finally itself ready to handle with a big actor in the international arena."
At the end of the speech, the King also bestowed former Prime Minister and now Deputy Prime Minister Princess Esther Farah Rumaki with the title of Grand Cross Lady of the Royal Order of the Golden Tower, one of the most prestigious knightly orders of New Tarajan, as a "sign of trust, and a reward for a long and loyal service to the country."

Afther Articmainias withdrawl of Regordia Articmainia heard of a possible naval threat from Dromodia that it would send its fleets to Articmainia waters. Articmainia was already ready for this except Articmainia thought it would go against Texainia not Dromoda.
