Chancellor Joseph Charpantier has issued an official statement today: If Arcticmania ever attacks any unit of land, sea, or air that belongs to the nation of Aloia, Marquette will be forced to take action against Arcticmania.

(OOC: I know this is kind of late but I swear my other post that I posted before Arcticmania stood down has been deleted or never got posted for some reason.

COMMONWEALTH OFFERS DEAL

Europe and Asia will remove its Space Fleet and blockade on the grounds that Articmainia dismantle its Nuclear Arsenal and dismantle its Satellite threat. If this occurs, the commonwealth will remove all in system ships and will remove a large portion of troops back to its colony.

The Minister of Defense and the Articmainian Emperor conducted a joint press conference on the sidelines of the official trip of the Eurussian minister and announced that the Articmainian Government will maintain neutrality on the Novo Canuckian Civil War.

Both leaders also said that both governments are extensively conducting discussions in all levels to foster closer economic, military, and diplomatic cooperation. They also reiterated their policies in promoting peace and cooperation to the continent and the entire region.

HOUSE OF NORDAHL ANNOUNCES ANOTHER ROYAL WEDDING



Queen Aetra and the House of Nordahl are proud to announce the wedding of Princess Clarisse of Aloia and King Joseph of Lonbonia. The Princess is the younger sister of Crown Prince Eric and Holy Patrician Emperor Henri and older sister of Princess Margaretta and Princess Wilhelmina. She is the daughter of Queen Aetra III of Aloia and the late King Frederick IX of Aloia. The wedding is to take place in Talos Eri, Aloia, and parades and celebrations are planned all over the country.

Hopefully, this wedding can give everyone a break from the tensions between Aloia and Articmainia.

After the successful defusing of tensions in the continent, both the governments of Eurussia and Articmainia successfully concluded their bilateral talks into a formalize agreement.

The Minister of Defense and the Articmainian Emperor witnessed the ceremonial signing of the Treaty of Friendship Between Eurussia and Articmainia which sealed the alliance between the two countries signifying closer economic, diplomatic, and military cooperation.

The minister will leave later this evening successfully ending his visit in the continent.

New-Zealand has launched its overwatch air superiority plan in Novo Canuckia. Multiple AC-130 gunships have taken to the air and air shadowing/escorting NZ troops as the push into Imperialist and Nationalist territorty. The AC-130s (Pictured Above) gun down enemy troops and heavy weaponry (Tanks, AA Guns, Barricades etc.) from the sky whilst at the same time giving recon to the following ground forces. The ground forces then need to merely follow in the footsteps of Overwatch's destruction and kill anything that survived. The tactic has already seen 3 Imperialist strongholds fall to the control of NZ (On the Side of the Novo Canuckian Government). In the 6 hours since Overwatch has been active, the NZ Military has managed to push 150km into Imperialist territory.

The Defense Minister had this to say :

Watch out Imperialists and Nationalists. The sky is literrally falling down upon you. You can run, but you cant hide from our 105mm AC-130 ammunition.

New Asian Air support sent to New Zealand "Operation Hell's rain" begins

New Asia has sent 5 support squadrons to Novo Canuckia to help support New Zealand in their air superiority. New Asia sent 5 Squadrons comprising of Squadrons 42, 56, 98, 255 and 135.

56= 20 A-10 II Warthog
98= 12 B-52G
225= 8 A-330 MRT
135= 24 SU-37
As well as 3 737 Wedge Tail AWAC Aircraft

The plan as follows is that the AWAC Aircraft provide over watch and the F-22 are their escort, B-52G carpet bomb the area then the A-10 Aircraft finish off what's left as well as performing precision air strikes. The A330 MRT we'll refuel the 737 as well as the fighter jets on their return to New Asian soil. The SU-37 We'll be escorts for all common wealth aircraft in the area as well as escorting the A-10 warthogs to deliver their strike package. All aircraft we'll carry to drop tanks so that they may make it to New Asia safely.

The ruling Conservative Party, as expected, won the majority of the seats at the parliament in the recently concluded general elections led by the incumbent Chancellor David Cameroon. However, surprisingly and to the shock of political analysts, the aggressively growing Socialist Party led by its leader, Vladimir Pootin, has gained the minority of seats.


Based on the results of the general elections, the Conservatives secured 30 provinces of the country versus the 24 provinces secured by the Socialists. These number is equivalent to 60 seats for the Conservatives versus the 48 seats for the Socialists. The outcome sent shock waves to the political scene since the Socialists was able to win the vote rich province of Petersburg (#44) which is considered the nation's secondary capital.

Political analysts believe that the worsening social inequality brought by the policies of the Conservative Party greatly affected its influence while the Socialist Party is taking advantage of this weakness by aggressively criticizing the current administration of its flaws.


The Conservatives has been the nation's ruling party since the country's establishment and carefully absorbing smaller political parties to ensure its dominance in every election. It is known for its centrist-right policies focusing on free market, promotion of civil liberties, elimination of income taxes, and soft tone approach on foreign relations.

On the other hand, the Socialists entered the political scene since the ruling party introduced its income tax elimination policies that resulted to massive government spending cuts and fewer basic services that further resulted to the growing crime rates and social inequality in the country where the gap between the rich and the poor worsened. They are known for their centrist-left initiatives which never won against the centrist-right policies of the ruling party.


International analysts are closely watching the intensely growing Eurussian political arena that is slowly changing due to diminishing Conservatist influence and the rise of the Socialist Party which is believed to topple the ruling party in the following years to come, but only few believes. Eurussian politics is always considered an international politics by political analysts due to Eurussia's position as a superpower.

As a result of possible security risks, despite the imposing measures put in place to counter them, the encounter between the Governments of Ronya and Europe has been postponed is moved to the place.
Currently the date is not certain, the parties are still debating about the treaty of friendship and alliance.

The place

The site will be on the aircraft carrier "Strasbourg", the flagship of the Navy the European Union, in an unspecified point of the Tyrrhenian Sea, far from all shipping lanes.
The meeting will then take place outside the boundaries of the region, on the continent of Europe.
This downs to minimize the risks for the safety.
The aircraft carrier will be escorted by 4 FREMM class frigates (the "Paris", the "Rome", the "Berlin" and "London"), 3 class destroyers "Europe 4" (the "Lapland", the "Brussels" and the "Prague") and a class cruiser "Alps 2" (the "Mont Blanc").
The monitoring will also feature a fleet of 40 on the high seas patrol boats, a team of 16 F-35 aircraft, a team of 25 sighting and attack drones, and a team of 18 helicopters of various types.

The duration and course of the meeting are not yet certain.
But we know that it will be a private meeting between the two governments, a state banquet in the "hall senior officers" of the aircraft carrier, and finally the signing of the treaty of alliance and friendship between the two nations (of which do not yet know the content).

Pope Francis has recently departed from the Ronya City International Airport in a private jet bound for the European aircraft carrier "Strasbourg" located in the Tyrrhenian Sea. Thousands of Marquetiens have taken to the streets in the capital of Eznurf after a member of Parliament from the Liberal Party proposed a gay marriage bill. This bill, if passed, would allow people to marry within their own gender, while also legalizing them to adopt children. This is a huge controversy in Marquette, as most of the people are devout Catholics. The Liberal party has been on the rise over the past few years and has finally achieved majority in Parliament.

The are also angry at the nonchalant stance on gay marriage adopted by various other nations in the World Alliance.

Archbishop Domingo Alves has assured the Marquetien people that he would never betray his flock, and would not stand for gay marriage becoming legalized in "this wonderful nation". The Archbishop has planned a trip to the capital, Eznurf, to speak to the houses of Parliament and try to convince them not to pass the bill. He is set to leave on Friday.

Low Republic angry at Yellasia's claim to the peninsula

Yellasia recently claimed the entire Low Republic as its own, but the Low Republic still maintains political rule over the land.

The claim was made in response to the Low Republic's threats of an invasion of Yellasia. Yellasia justifies the claim by promising to liberate the Low people from Dr. Low's de facto authoritarianism and by citing the complex relationship between the Yellasian and Low people. The two nations have historically strong ties, and during the late 19th century the Land of the Low was under the administration of Yellasia. It was not until the Low Republic was declared and illegally invaded Yellasia that control of the peninsula was lost.

The Low Republic is not currently recognised by any WA nation.

In a press release today, President William T. Riker discovery of a massive cave. The cave on the mainland of Planita was carved by a dried up underground river. The cave is so large that one sinkhole is 2 city blocks big and is home to a miniature forest. The network of caves has yet to be completely explored but it is estimated to spread across a quarter of the Planita landmass. Planita has organized several teams of spelunkers to explore this vast cave. More details and pictures will come.

In light of recent events, the War Council of Marquette has decided to revamp the nation's Missile Defense Program. This revamping includes:

-Increasing line of sight of missiles that are a threat to Marquette

-Adding launch sites to several of Marquette's ships, and eventually every ship. These launch pads have a capability for also launching ballistic missiles

-Increasing the number of anti-ballistic missiles from 400 to 1000

-Establishing and distributing easy to understand directions for citizens if the MDP fails and a missile strike is imminent

These improvements are set to be finished by the end of the year.

In an attempt to gain international support, the three main factions in the Novo Canuckian civil war have issued statements to international media. These statements are indented to display the faction's policies and attempt to dispel the many false accusations in various international media outlets, and to serve as propaganda for each party respectively.

The Empire of Novo Canuckia

Friends, I come to ask for your assistance in removing these usurpers from the leadership of Novo Canuckia. I am Sean Sutherland, last true heir to the Empire of Novo Canuckia! I did not start this war, I did not want to become Emperor, but if the government continues to persecute me for simply asking for what was promised to my family in that treaty so long ago, then I will take back the throne which is by all rights mine.
