On the sidelines of the official trip of the European President in Eurussia, both governments have sealed an agreement on joint cooperation focusing on aerospace defense that will benefit both countries through technical cooperation and coordination.


The deal is known as the Eurussian and European Joint Aerospace Defense Agreement which aims to develop and improve a massive monitoring and tracking defense capabilities by both nations and establish the EURAD Command.

Group Of Eurussian Tourists Could Face The Death Sentence

The bust is a major success for the border police as it reinforces The Catham Islands commitment to its Zero-Drug policies and elimination of crime. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that the government is rejecting the drug bust claim of the Catham Islands Government due to strict security measures implemented in all airports in the country and clarified that the three individuals accused are not Eurussian citizens and not even holders of Eurussian citizenship.

The ministry also condemned the news saying that such was just a publicity stunt dragging other nations for the sake of having a good image in the international community. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that two high ranking government ministers are scheduled to hold foreign trips to region's formidable nations. The scheduled visits are reciprocate to the invitation of the host governments aimed at improving and formalizing ties with the Eurussian Empire.

VENDOLAND PLEDGES HUMANITARIAN AID

EUROPE AND ASIA DEPLOYS SPECIAL UNITS TO KORGAN



Spetsnaz special forces have been deployed to the Korgan National Nuclear Facility after diagrams found that the an underground reservoir was in danger of exploding. The remaining reactor core fell into the coolant reservoir and is in danger of generating FCI Explosion. (Fuel Coolant Ineraction). The Spetsnaz will attempt to drain the coolant water. Fears of economic crisis rise in Yellasia

Yellasia may face a financial crisis in the near future. The Yellasian economy contracted by 4% in the first quarter of 2013, new reports show. The decrease in economic output comes just after a mild upswing after two years of slow growth, which was preceded by a brief recession in 2011.

Hit hardest are newly autonomous countries Coreelia and Huskdor, both of which have seen their unemployment rates increase to over 14%. Huskdor has remained relatively stable, although times are tough in Coreelia, a small island nation of just over 65,000 where the GDP has suddenly decreased by an alarming 50%. With the recent publication of the global rankings on the nations in the region with Most Income Equality, the Socialist Party found another opportunity to lambast the ruling party when the nation ranked 102 over 127 nations which they accused the government of not doing anything to close the gap between the rich and the poor and has continuously worsen through the years.

On the other hand, the government said that they were able to eliminate taxes for the working class and relied heavily on corporate taxes from the rich. And said that they will continue to undertake necessary measures not aimed in improving rankings but rather improve the lives of the people.

The Joint Military Exercises between the Eurussian Imperial Armed Forces and the Lonbonian Armed Forces have already started showcasing the military prowess of two countries in defense capabilities in all aspects of command.


The military drills were held off the southern coast of Lonbonia and covers the Lonbonian Sea involving both nation's thousands of army units, hundreds of air force fighters, and masssive naval carriers and battleships.


The joint war games between the two countries also involved live drills on disaster prepare, rescue efforts and recovery operations to ensure the effectivity of both armed forces during natural calamities. The drills were also watched live in television promoted and funded by the Lonbonian Government which were well watched nationwide.

Novo Canuckia's parliament has finally resumed normal operation. Since the conclusion of the destructive civil war a short while ago, parliament was suspended in Novo Canuckia until the old Council Building in Príomhchathair could be repaired and refitted. While construction in many parts of the building is still ongoing, enough of the building has been modernized to allow the government to resume normal functions. A temporary set of ministers will be appointed until a general election can be held. In addition, tomorrow will mark the first time in nearly two hundred years that an Empress has ruled over Novo Canuckia.

Edward Natapei Gives A Statement Regarding Drug Smuggling Controversy



It is widely known that Immigration Officers at The Hobson International Airport have recently intercepted and apprehended three Eurussian men who were attempting to smuggle large amounts of cocaine into the country. The event was quickly rejected by the Eurussian government who claim that the three men have no connection with Eurussia let alone that they are even citizens of their country. The ensuing controversy has made it necessary for the Foreign Minister, who has been working tirelessly to resolve the issue, to make a public statement.

“Our government is shocked by Eurussia’s response to the issue. The fact that the Eurussian government can so willingly disown their own citizens in order to maintain a false sense of security within their nation is incomprehensible to us. Crime within Eurussia is rapidly increasing and this fact has already been recognized by members of their own parliament; in fact it has become such an issue that Eurussian crime has begun to spill out into other nations in the region. The Eurussian government needs to realise this and start diverting all the energy they are spending denying the problem to actually attempting to fix it. In the meantime our government is discussing a reform of current immigration laws, which obviously let nearly anyone into our country, to ensure something like this never happens again. Foreigners are destroying The Catham Islands and without immediate action we will soon be overrun with the problems of other nations.”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the continuous lies promoted by the Catham Islands Government doesn't require further attention therefore should be neglected and disregarded due to the desperate actions of the said government to gain attention in the international community.

The ministry reiterated that the suspected drug dealers were not Eurussians and will never be accorded any attention nor assistance from the government. It also reiterated the claims of the Catham Islands that they were caught from an inbound flight directly from Eurussia as it was impossible since the government doesn't allow direct flights to countries without formal diplomatic relations with the nation.

Yellasia urges Catham Islands to rethink death penalty

In response to the imprisonment of three Eurussian tourists, Yellasia's Prime Minister Carl Avery has requested that Yellasia's ally the Catham Allies pardon the prisoners from the death penalty and 'rethink' its death penalty laws.

He went on to say that the death penalty for an offence such as drug trafficking is a "ridiculous, especially considering the controversy and uncertainty surrounding the incident." Capital punishment in all forms is abolished in Yellasia, a policy which has been widely supported by the Yellasian people.

Despite the request, Yellasia will respect the Catham Island's decision and is committed to cooperation between the Catham Islands.
