In a press release today, President William T. Riker discovery of a massive cave. The cave on the mainland of Planita was carved by a dried up underground river. The cave is so large that one sinkhole is 2 city blocks big and is home to a miniature forest. The network of caves has yet to be completely explored but it is estimated to spread across a quarter of the Planita landmass. In light of recent events, the War Council of Marquette has decided to revamp the nation's Missile Defense Program. This revamping includes:

-Increasing line of sight of missiles that are a threat to Marquette

-Adding launch sites to several of Marquette's ships, and eventually every ship. These launch pads have a capability for also launching ballistic missiles

-Increasing the number of anti-ballistic missiles from 400 to 1000

QUEEN AETRA ANNOUNCES HEART ATTACK AND ABDICATION



In a video released by the House of Nordahl on the Royal Family's official YouTube page, Queen Aetra III, Empress of New Germaine and Aetramundi, announced news of a heart attack she suffered while in Corelie, Holy Patrician States, while visiting her son and grandchildren. This heart attack and other feelings of getting older have led the Queen who is now 63 years old to choose abdication. She also said that she thinks the world is ready for the first Aloian gay monarch.

In the video, she said, "I'm very happy for the time I spent as your queen, but now I must retire. I believe that more time as the queen would only add more stress to my life and would provoke another heart attack. Eric, Crown Prince of Aloia, Archduke of Saint-Francois will now become Eric X, High King of Aloia, Emperor of New Germaine and Aetramundi. Eric's husband, Aleksander, Prince of Aloia, Duke of Saint-Francois will now also become Aleksander, King of Aloia.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has announced that the government has arrested the long sought, hard to find, and most wanted terrorist in Europe, Bashar Al-Arab whose connections to several terrorist organization in Europe is so complicated that even the European Government was left with no choice but to seek the aid of the international community for international warrant arrest from the WA Police Force which until now is being deliberated.


The ministry has disclosed that the terrorist has been under surveillance for several years which was discovered by Eurussian intelligence community to have a deep connection everywhere in Europe. The most surprising discovery was that unlike other ground fighting terrorists which are expected to be not in good physique due to hiding, the arrested Bashar Al-Arab was enjoying the beaches of a faraway island in one of Europe's overseas territories which according to the ministry has proven their suspition that the terrorist was not hiding at all but well protected by his connections in the European Government.


The most wanted terrorist was caught in live television in a well groomed attire and looks healthy which is far opposite to the usually caught low key hiding terrorists. His current physique is far different from the image provided by the European Foreign Minister at the WAPF General Meeting, currently being held in St. Petersburg, Eurussia for the request of Europe for an international warrant which has not yet been approved until now.

The controversial photo shown by the European minister was criticized by the Eurussian Ambassador to the WAPF attending the meeting due to the image which was believed to be taken years ago being shown in a high level meeting in front of several delegates from different countries. The minister received an unsolicited advice from the ambassador to improve their country's intelligence capabilities adding another wave of tensions to the worsened diplomatic relations between Eurussia and Europe which is now locked in an exchange of trade embargo against each other.


The ministry further disclosed and published a photo showing the intentionally camouflaged home of the terrorist in the faraway island where he was arrested. The stone house was well built according to the secret agents and the interior was described to be like living in a hotel.

On the other hand, the ministry has already informed the WAPF Meeting about the matter.

The European Government strongly criticizes Eurussia

The European government has strongly criticized the actions of Eurussiai in a noota released to the press earlier.

The Chancellor of Eurussia and the visiting Prime Minister of New Zealand have witnessed the formal signing of the landmark agreement between two countries signifying the importance of the diplomatic relations between Eurussia and New Zealand.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed its condemnation on a new round of rhetorics from the European Government and rejects the bottomline of its new round of criticisms, which is to get the custody of another arrested terrorist which has found by no less than the hardworking secret agents of Eurussia's intelligence community.

The ministry further condemns the European Government's denial that the terrorist was in fact the most wanted one by way of using the excuse of the so-called European challenge just to cover its failure to capture the terrorist.

The ministry also belies the claim of Europe that corruption links to terrorism was eradicated where in fact the captured terrorist was well-groomed and not hiding on the mountains but enjoying its scenic beaches. It also reiterated that it should improve its bureaucracy drown in terrorism and corruption that are bringing unreliable information to the highest levels of government that is further embarassing the country by its weak leadership.

The ministry also questioned the controversial photo defended by the European officials to be latest that if such images of the terrorist were really latest, they would have in fact know his whereabouts and wouldn't need the assistance of the international community at all.

The ministry called on Europe to cooperate with respect and refrain from non-sense rhetorics.

Official meeting between Ronya and Europe

Since morning, around 11:00 am (local time, Tyrrhenian Sea), officially began the meeting between the European government and that of Ronya.

The private meeting

The governments of the two countries, namely the ministers and the two heads of state, immediately after the banquet held a private meeting at the conference room of the aircraft carrier, in a slightly more austere than that of the dining room.
Apparently they discussed common strategies to be followed in the economic, political and diplomatic, and other affairs of state.
These also included the current problems, such as terrorism, civil war in Novo Canuckia, the deterioration of relations between Europe and Eurussia, and their peaceful resolution.

The Ministry of Justice has announced that Bashar Al-Arab has been charged with terrorism including conspiracy, financing, corruption, involvement and other related matters. The recent development on the arrest of the most wanted terrorist is expected by the government to lambast the unrespectful European officials for criticizing the government's hard work to find the terrorist and bring justice not only to Europe but to the entire region.


The arrest, according to analysts, will become a big blow to operating terrorist organizations in the region citing the wide ranging intelligence capabilities of Eurussia and its pursuit in bringing justice to terrorism victims and affected governments around the world.

LONBONIA OFFERS EURUSSIA A MILITARY ALLIANCE PACT

The Lonbonian Government has published a plan to form a military alliance with The Empire of Great Eurussia to protect each other from any terrorism that comes from Europe due to it's weak government and share military capabilites and establish bases in both countries for a stronger military coordination.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the government is planning to expand its trade embargo against Europe as a punishment for its increasing rhetoric against Eurussia. Sources says that the new round of embargo will involve foreign companies which are doing business in Europe will be prohibited from doing business in Eurussia which will in turn force investors between Europe's terrorist haven country and Eurussia's economically prosperous country. If this plans will be implemented, analysts are united in saying that this will have a great economic impact on Europe that will affect millions of its citizens that might eventually call for a change in national leadership.

The ministry belies the new round of fabricated stories of the European Government that the government is obliged to return the suspect to Europe where in fact the WAPF General Meeting hasn't decided yet to approve an international warrant of arrest and challenged Europe to provide a document from the WAPF. The Ministry of Defense announced that the Defense Minister is scheduled to visit the Kingdom of Lonbonia next week to formalize the diplomatic relations between the two countries. The official trip was the result of the invitation from the Lonbonian Government.

The visit will involve meetings, discussions, and consultations between the two governments to cooperate on areas of security, economy, and diplomacy.

All Firearms (No Matter what size and type) are now illegal, the only people permitted to possess firearms are The Armed Defenders Squad and The Military. Normal police will no longer have guns but will instead have tasers and other non lethal ways of subduction. In order to compensate this, the creation of the Armed Defenders Squad has been approved. The Armed Defenders Squad will be a rapid deployment division of the Police and will be armed with Assault Rifles and full body armor. They will only take to the streets when a standard police officer calls in for back up due to the offender possesses and using a firearm. This policy is set to cost about 5-10Billion to implement as a buy back of all firearms is required, nonetheless the government believes it is a necessity in order to ensure public safety.

In other news, The massacre was carried out by a unknown assailant who has now been detained. We believe he may have links to Al-Arab but are yet to confirm this.

Broatia will send peace keeping forces to end attacks on forces within Novo Canuckia. Broatia does not show preference to any side but, would like to point out that under socialist policies Novo Canuckia has become poor and backwards.
