Dear SECURS Member States:

The United Kingdom of Greater Marquette has enjoyed amicable relations with many member nations of the Security and Economic Union of Royalist States for years, and we by all means would like to not only continue in those friendly relations between our respective nations, but we would like to grow in our economic affairs as much as possible.

However, by order of both Chancellor Joseph Charpentier and His Majesty King Fredéric IV, the United Kingdom has decided to make moves to become its once fully isolationist self. We do, however, understand that that full isolationism can never be sustained over a long period of time, and that it is not viable in today's ever-growing global market, but we would like to further limit our relations with the foreign nations of the world.

Due to the increase of terrorism in the world, notably in Arveyres, the Newellian Federation, and Farshonia, as well as the constant rise of political radicals in nations such as New-Zealand and Dromoda, we have been forced to make the critical decision of limiting our diplomatic and economic relations with certain countries, and certain global organizations that include nations that have forced us to take such measures.

Years ago, Marquette was one of the biggest critics of the entry of Farshonia into our wonderful association of royalist and Conservative nations that stands to shape the world for the better, and to preserve the history of the world. As i previously stated before the assembly years ago, Farshonia's government is not representative of the beliefs we nations stand for; it is an unfair dictatorship with the people having no say in the legislation governing their daily lives at all. The Marquetien government and I, both in full agreement, have heretofore not only had the best interests of SECURS and its member states in mind, but we have been proven correct regarding the Farshonia issue.

The Farshonian government's tyrannical intentions and its people's will to be free have finally come to a head in the recent civil war. The truth is coming out, and what I said years ago about the Farshonian government's instability has finally been proven correct. We [the Marquetien government] must not meddle in overseas affairs, but rather we must distance ourselves from them. We refuse to fund the efforts of SECURS' intervention in Farshonia, much less to even be associated with the nation by way of mutual membership of this union of nations.

Therefore, it is my humble and unfortunate task to communicate to this Assembly of the revocation of the United Kingdom of Greater Marquette's membership of the Security and Economic Union of Royalist States. We would like to emphasize our hopes of continuing cordial relations with our allies who retain membership of the Union, and that we hold no feelings of discontent towards any member state, save that of the Empire of Farshonia.

It has been a wonderful experience working with the representatives of your great and admirable nations, and it grieves me to leave the company of such prominent men and women from the courts of the globe's most prosperous royalist nations, but for the greater good of the United Kingdom's future and reputation, it must be done.

We acknowledge and understand your position.
The United Kingdom of Marquette has been not only a valuable and trusted member of this organization, but also a loyal friend of New Tarajan and the other Member States of SECURS.
For this reason, we cannot avoid to ask to the royal government to think about this move. The SECURS never forced any Member to take actions which it does not believe to be in its interests (in the Farshonian war, for example, only four countries intervened).
We know very well your attitude toward Farshonia, and the reasons behind it. Once again, we understand it, however, our aim was to finally give to Farshonia an opportunity. This bloody civil war, is the dawn of this opportunity, and it would be a great desire, and hope, of New Tarajan, to share this opportunity all together.
Do not give up. Marquette can keep a more isolationist attitude even remaining inside the SECURS, which provide security for the Kingdom, as a military alliance, in a world that, as you said, it is every day more dangerous.
We have the capabilities and opportunities to change this world in better, but we can do it only united, together.

The stance of Marquette has not swayed. As I said, I do not want to be associated with Farshonia in any way, and we do not want a military alliance (such as SECURS) to bind us to aid other nations in times of war. The King and Chancellor have both agreed on the revocation of our membership, and when the King and Chancellor both agree on something, there's no turning back.

I assure you, Marquette will retain its membership in the World Alliance Royalist Party indefinitely, but SECURS we must leave.

Atletius is saddened to sea the Marquette take this position, but understands and wished it all the best in the future.

To the SECURS Member States:

As a member of the United Kingdom of Marquette I must announce that our nation, the Commonwealth Realm of the Catham Islands, will also be leaving the Security and Economical Union of Royalist States. Our Governor supports the decision of the United Kingdom's Parliament and believes that it will allow the Kingdom much more flexibility when it comes to international diplomacy. Farshonia's admission into this great community was a huge gamble by your part and I feel that the isolationist measures taken by both of our governments in response to this cannot be reversed.

Our country was not a member of this community for very long (OOC time) but I would personally like to thank the SECURS for it's help in guiding the Catham Islands out of Fascism. Our nation now enjoys very high political freedoms thanks to the guidelines put in place by both the SECURS and the UK of Marquette. Your contribution will not be forgotten.

For now our goal is to work much more closely with the rest of the United Kingdom to increase stability of our systems (both political and economic) and continue to elevate the standard of living for our citizens. We cannot allow our internal efforts to be undermined by a poorly guided foreign policy.

We petition the suspension of the corrupt dictatorship of the Farshonias. We base this on the fact that he has attempted to blockade the Patrician Canal, a territory held by two members of the SECURS and Eurussia.

They also say

The emperor sends 5 nimitz class aircraft carrier to patrol the Farshonia Sea and it has ordered to capture unidentified , pirate or trade cargos that goes to Patrician Canal and it's owner is a "enemy" of the empire like Texania.

By this he states that Arveyres, Aloia and Eurussia are all enemies of the Empire.

It is bad luck of Patrician Canal that the northern trade routes is block by Farshonia's EEZ.All trade cargos that goes to Patrician Canal will go to a peninsula north of Catham Islands.

He also states that all waters between the Farshonias are part of his EEZ but that would be greater than 5000km EEZ when in practicality they are around 320km, thus all waters between 320km of the Farshonian coast are international waters.

We support the petition of Arveyres for a suspension of Farshonia from the SECURS and we ask to this nation to retrieve all the ships from the canal. In case of a refuse from Farshonia, Antanares will request a total expulsion of the country from the SECURS.

We agree with the position of Antanares and support the suspension of Farshonia.

Honourable colleagues,
New Tarajan supports this petition.
We understood your position, and we perfectly agree with it, since the acts of Farshonia are also against the International Law about EEZ, thus violating the SECURS Charter.
We are negotiating directly with Farshonia about it, but, for the moment, without any success.
When we accepted Farshonia inside the SECURS, the idea was that, with such a decision, the Empire would have been a more responsible actor in ther international arena.
Unfortunately, it seems that this idea proved to be wrong, and, as Secretary General, I personally apologize for this, since it led to the lost of two relevant and faithful allies, such as Marquette and Catham Islands.
We will send an official warning to Farshonia, on the behalf of SECURS, to immediately withdraw from its decision and apology for such a violation of International Law. In case of negative response, since we have gathered the majority of votes inside this Assembly, Farshonia will be immediately expelled from this Organization.

Will Farshonia be permanently expelled, or will it be allowed to rejoin once it has regained another mask of political stability to fool us all again?

Of course, in case of expulsion, due to the reiterated nature of their acts, they will not be accepted once again.

I support permanent expulsion unless Farshonia changes dramatically.

Aloia also strongly supports permanent expulsion

The United Kingdom of Greater Marquette will only rejoin if Farshonia is permanently expelled from the Union. However, we must also let our federal Parliament discuss whether it wants our UK to be part of such a large and powerful organization that meddles in foreign affairs frequently.

Farshonia seems to have withdrawn its blockade.
We ask to our Arveyres allies if they desire to push forward the petition or to dismiss it.

The Confederate Empire of Farshonia is invited to release a declaration in its defense, if it desires to do so; alternatively, it will be hereby declared expelled by the SECURS.
